. [ Male Cub Plz ] . Name: Kosey Name Origin: Egyptian for “Lion” Future Rank: Guardian
RP Prompt #: 1 Prompt Response: Kosey might not be the oldest cub in the litter but he sure acted as if he were. With a deep innate sense of responsibility, Kosey had placed upon his tiny shoulders the arduous task of watching over his many siblings, to guard his mother zealously and to make his father proud in any way he could.
“Shhhh! Mom’s sleeping.” Mommy’s fierce protector said as two boisterous cubs ran past him at top speed, an eternal frown firmly set in place. The young cub looked back at the shape of his mother who was currently resting in the sandy shade and he moved closer to lie next to her. His green eyes – one of the characteristics that betrayed Jarkevaa as his father – watched the lioness for a few minutes of quiet adoration as the cub counted the differences between them: the white markings in his head, the well-defined toe markings, his tail tuft. The corners of his mouth pulled up ever so slightly to reveal a gentle smile as he watched her sleep.
The young lion could often be called a stick-in-the-mud – he probably was and not just behind his back – but he felt comfortable in his self-appointed role. He felt responsible when his siblings hurt themselves even if there was nothing he could’ve done to prevent it or when it was after he’d just told them that running around with a sharp stick on their mouths wasn’t a very good idea.
At that exact moment he could see three of his sisters perched up on a rock formation that was clearly too small to hold the three cubs and Kosey could easily predict that their bouncy excitement would soon end in one or more of them falling down and possibly hurting themselves. He didn’t have to get up, not really. He was actually quite comfortable on his spot, watching his mother’s peaceful sleep, with no desire to play at that moment. But something within him grew restless as his sisters continued playfully pushing each other as they tried to improve their footing on the rocky surface and it wasn’t long until Kosey had grown far too anxious to simply watch.
“Be careful. You’re gonna get hurt if you fall down.” He was already next to the rock formation, ready to prevent any disaster from occurring even if that meant softening his sisters’ potential fall. It was a lot of work, watching over his siblings like this but he knew he’d feel terrible if something were to happen to them in his presence. Or in his absence… because it would mean he hadn’t been where he was needed. Thankfully, none of his sister did fall and pretty soon the three of them were back on the ground burning off energy in a game of chase and Kosey was free to return to his previous spot, napping peacefully next to his mother.
Possible Future Plots: I want Kosey to be a really nosy cub that gets his nose on everyone’s business. I want some “momma’s boy” development for him and I want him to scare off his sisters' potential suitors when he’s older. And maybe some heartbreak in his future as well because he can’t stop worrying about his family long enough to give any girl the attention she deserves. I see him as being a really strict Guardian who is very mistrustful of strangers to the pride. As an adult, I really hope he’d relax a bit and become someone people trust and come ask for help and advice instead of a nagging presence that just tells other “I told you…”. He'l probably always feel responsible for everyone around him though. Do they plan on leaving the pride?: No! (Unless the family relocates) How many Dawnwalkers do you own?: 1 lined girl. =)
Man, I have so many cubs that I wasn't even gonna post. But he's just too gorgeous and I needed to get him out of my head. x]

. [ Female Cub Plz ] . Name: Renenet Name Origin: Egyptian for 'Fortune' Future Rank: Nanny
RP Prompt #: 2 and maybe a mix of 4? Prompt Response:
Ruckus and mayhem.
That's what a typical day in their den consisted of, each of her siblings running around giggling and chuckling at one another. But, with her typical look of disapproval, Renenet simply rolled her eyes. She couldn't wait to be free of all these silly cubs, she wanted to be grown, and be a part of the family. A true member of the family! Someone who could help support future generations, just like her extended family was doing at current. She smiled fondly, as she snuck a glance at her Father and Feleji, both tall and proud, keeping a careful watch on each and every one of them. That's where she wanted to be, in their position. She enjoyed her family, regardless of how large it was. It made her feel more secure to know that she had many careful eyes to always watch her back. She knew that with such a large family, she would always be safe. A feeling of warmth washed over her, and she smiled faintly, her attention focused back on the adults once more.
Debating whether or not, to take a step closer to the duo. Renenet's plans were faltered as a tumbling trio of her siblings rolled by, a dust cloud forming in their wake. She giggled slightly, her tail letting loose in a slight waggle, but she quickly reined herself in and plopped down heavily on her rump. There would be no silly business from her today. Instead, she'd stay where she was and silently help her family look over the den.
As she watched, she noticed a small bit of sunlight was creeping into the den from an odd corner. Instinctively, she wanted to explore it, and see exactly what was on the other side. But logically she knew it wasn't a smart decision. She also knew, that if the hole has caught her attention, it was bound to catch everyone else's as well. Trying to prevent any unwanted mishaps, she silently made her way over to the crack and stretched out in front of it. Making quite the show of how tired she was, she slowly lay down before it. Allowing a smug look of satisfaction to slip onto her maw as she peered out from under sleepy eyes at her hopefully unknowing siblings.
Possible Future Plots: She's such a goody toe-shoes, i'd really like her to accidentally find herself in a mess of trouble. Right now, i'm not exactly sure what type it would be, or how she would get herself out of it, but it would be my biggest plot. Do they plan on leaving the pride?: Barring awesome plots - No How many SoA do you have?: 31

. [ Female Cub Plz ] .
Name: - Anibast "The Sun's Impulse" or "Motion of the Sun" -> Alternatively, Bastani. - Aibast "Divine Impulse" or "Divine Motion" -> Alternatively, Bastai (Haha, I have issues with naming cubs, I like to have options and choose the best one. For prompt purposes I will be using Bastani.) Name Origin: Egyptian Future Rank: Guardian
RP Prompt #: #2 (with notes of #1) Prompt Response:
She'd done it!
Bastani had escaped the evil clutches of her 'uncle', Feleji. Not that she minded him (or his huge, hard hugs), but the sheer size of her family didn't allow for a lot of breathing - or stretching! - room.
The female cub sighed - taking a moment to stretch - after sneaking into the Hall of Great Pillars. From there, she boldly skirted across the temple, looking for the fabled garden of wonders. Her brother whispered things of glorious flowers into her ear. She wasn't as obsessed as he was, but an opportunity for adventure and to be herself wasn't about to be passed up!
So she played it like it was a game of keep away. And keep away it was! She had to keep herself away from getting caught. She wasn't a bad cub, or one that shirked responsibility; there were just so many members in her family that it was overwhelming, sometimes. Even so, she wouldn't have it any other way but, still, she needed room to be herself. And that included her impulsive, somewhat fiery and passionate personality to shine through.
"...I think it was this way..!"
[Some Time Later..]
She thought.
Basti was...lost. The temple was huuuuge! While her paws hurt to walk on, now, she pushed herself further.
Nope.
Hopelessly lost.
She sniffed, both out of a sudden twitch of fear and sadness, and in attempt to find her way back, but couldn't differentiate the scents to get back on track.
...luckily, however, her nose caught the scent of fresh water. And she was so very thirsty! Following her nose...Bastani came upon a sight she couldn't have even imagined. The Gardens! Her brother would be so excited! It was really beau--and way out in the middle, she saw an isle with a tree.
"Whoa..." She murmured, taking a step forwards with her paw in the water. A warning cry came from behind her, and she innocently pulled her paw back. It was tempting to go see what was on the isle. Very tempting! She wobbled a little, and bowed her head to drink a little.
Just to get rid of the dry taste in her mouth.
The little dark cub managed to get a few laps before she was suddenly scooped up!
She squeaked and chirped, momentarily panicked - what if someone was trying to cubnap her or they were under attack?! - before the voice of Fel calmed her. She gave him a slightly sheepish grin.
"It was fun, though! You should come 'splore with me, Feji!"
And thus: her uncle. Nicknamed.
Possible Future Plots: @___@ So much. But it also has to do with how she develops as a cub with her family, because she could take several paths..! 8D
I like the idea of her taking her time - and a few potential suitors - to decide who is her "One", which will be almost wholly decided on on RP. It may be that this love takes her out of the Pride, or at least the Pride Lands, but her heart will always remain with her family. <3
I can also see her making nicknames up for those she meets, as well. xD It was totally spontaneous to put that in at the end, but it seemed to be a suitable thing to do!
Do they plan on leaving the pride?: Nope! Too attached, though she may scout far, some day, she'll always come back to the heart she left in her desert home.
How many SoA do you have?: Berhanu, Kaffir, Koehro, and Ari. Four regular SoA. <3

. [ Female Cub Plz ] . Name: Bennu Name Origin: Egyptian for "Eagle" Future Rank: Priestess -> Focus in Healing
RP Prompt #: Two Prompt Response:
Feleji wasn't that bad.
Sure, he seemed almost ever vigilant and his grip was like that of a vice, but he was friendly and loving. Also, he never seemed to talk down to her, so much as actually talk to her, which got him top marks in Bennu's book. She understood the need for a cub sitter. Hell, even she had trouble keeping track of her siblings and she was more than glad that she was often passed up in favor of her older, larger siblings doing the work. She also understood why her mother needed a break, but that didn't stop mischievous little thoughts from plaguing her mind.
Kujali was so attentive and knew each individual so well! Surely her father and her "uncle" had their paws full handling her smaller, more energetic siblings. It gave her ample time to sneak off. She preferred to be on her own, anyway. She liked space and, even though she loved her siblings dearly, they were on her nerves more often than not. This was the absolute perfect time to slip away and while Hime and Leivaloa clamored all over Feliji, she took the opportunity to slip past his large, black and white frame. It'd be ages before her disappearance would even be noticed! Of that, she was certain. She was an introvert by nature and often kept to herself, anyway. Her younger siblings demanded so much attention and energy, that she was certain she'd have plenty of time to do what she wanted.
Namely, that was exploring the roof. There were many, many sections to the temple, most of which she hadn't seen yet, but she distinctly remember where she saw the set of steps that sloped upwards and she had wanted to go up them so badly. She also desperately wanted to see the insides of the shrines... But she didn't have nerves of steel and certainly didn't have the guts to even slink by them, lest she get in to serious trouble.
Instead, she pressed herself firmly against the aged, decrepit walls and pressed on, gingerly stepping and doing her best to stay out of sight and, hopefully, out of mind. The steps were larger than she had imagined and a small scowl set across her rubbery, dark lips as she judged, albeit poorly, the distances of each one. With some effort, she scrambled up the first few. Tiring work! Especially for a young cub who still hadn't completely grasped full, confident control over all her muscles. One more step. Another. Another. She was panting tiredly as the final step came into view. She raised a trembling paw, planting it on the tippy-top.
"Well, now, thought you were sly?"
The sudden voice caused her to let out a frightened squeak. She wheeled about, nearly losing her balance, to see the familiar features of Jarkevaa. Still, her father's mug didn't stop her heart from knocking almost painfully against her ribs. She was so worried about getting past the nanny that she had forgotten her own father!
"You done gived me a fright!" She narrowed her pale, blue eyes in embarrassed frustration, but her father didn't bother giving her a reply. Instead, he chuckled and lifted her by her scruff. She snorted indignantly and instinctively curled in on herself. Exploring the roof would have to wait another day, apparently.
Possible Future Plots: Nothing is firmly set in mind, but she'd definitely want to get into trouble! She's an adventurer at heart, although she's known for being cranky and argumentative. She'll grow up to be a grouchy healer, though she has what's best for the pride at heart! She's not much interested in males and may never take a mate, unless she's harassed into it by family. She does have a soft spot for cubs and would gladly adopt one, if the opportunity arose. c: Do they plan on leaving the pride?: Nope! Not unless some really good plots lure her away. Chances are very slim. c: How many SoA do you have?: Twelve!

. [ Female Cub Plz ] . Name: Chione { Iknow there's a place called Chione. If this name is a problem, I'll exchange the e for an a for Chiona } Name Origin: Egyptian Future Rank: Artisan
RP Prompt #: 2 Prompt Response: Stretched out on a flat slab of smooth stone, the little cut enjoyed the fading afternoon. Pretty blue eyes were veiled by heavy lids, paws sprawled out on either side of her head, hind legs imitating the same gesture. She was in a state of being half-awake and half-asleep, the tip of her two-toned tail plume giving a gentle flick every once in awhile, grazing the sand below it. Chione was quite content though, her rump getting warmed by the sun that wasn't shielded by the tree looming overhead. But she didn't mind. It felt great on her fur, and exposed pads! it wasn't as unbearable as the ground could sometimes be after a long scalding day. However today was slightly more generous than previous occasions. And while the shade of the thin tree provided some cover for her front half, Chione showed no sign of getting up.
It wasn't for quite awhile that the little lioness stirred, awoken by an unknown source, not really a sound or a smell. It was a slow progression from her dormant state to a more conscious reality. Pale blue eyes were unveiled at a leisurely pace, half-lidded for a moment, before giving a few blinks to clear away her blurred vision. After a moment of merely laying there staring at her siblings, father and second caretaker, Chione let a wide yawn stretch along her maw. Her paws followed afterwards, toes extending, and sharp baby claws peeking out of the white tipped paws. They shifted to place onto the warm stone, kneading it briefly, before hoisting her small body upright, back arching to stretch, and tail doing the same. She looked about lazily at the group of siblings all bounding about, sleeping, and playing, climbing down from the semi-elevated perch to saunter on closer. She gravitated towards Feleji, giving him a firm press against his side, purring audibly to be noticed. Mama might have been off resting, but Feleji was quite nice indeed. Chione didn't mind the extra paws on deck with her extremely large amount of littermates. The more the merrier! That just meant more adults to play with, get groomed by, and get attention from! a tired smile slid along her face, head pushing against the thick fur of his shoulder, eyes easing closed as she received a few licks along her white ears in return. Tail flicking behind her freely, the cub stepped into the area between his front paws, flopping in a slow motion onto her side, and rolling on her back. She gave cute little growls at him, groggy, but clearly she wanted some attention. Pawing up at him, coaxing for some play, the lioness was answered with a few nudges to her belly, and gentle nips to her tiny paws. Wriggling side to side, Chione batted at the large male, fangs bared, toes spreading to try and grip at his lush mane. A chunk of it was managed, as her tummy was nudged again, giggling joyfully at his growl that rumbled over her small frame like a miniature earthquake! Squirming under his play, getting entirely covered as his head lowered, she gave a squeal before pushing her paws at his face, tipping her head back to gaze at her papa. Turning onto her belly, she slipped from Feleji's grasp to pounce onto, small paws gripping one of his arms. She was given a few licks along the fluffy tuft of hair dawned on her head, while crawling into his embrace as well, rubbing firmly against his chest, before curling up. Her small chin rested on one of his thick arms to have a clear view of Feleji... playfully sticking her tongue out at him, tail flipping back and forth behind her.
The gesture was returned, causing Chione's ears to p***k upright with interest. Giving a soft growl, she kneaded her papa's arm slowly, narrowing her eyes at the other male. Looks like this game wasn't done yet!
Possible Future Plots: don't figure that until rp is ensued. Do they plan on leaving the pride?: no How many SoA do you have?: 13 I think

. [ Male Cub Plz ] .
Name: Boskos (Shepherd) Name Origin: Greek Future Rank: Guardian
RP Prompt #: 1 & 4 Prompt Response: One.. two.. three.. four.. five.. six.. Boskos counted the familiar heads under his breath, identifying each one as his eyes passed over them the same way he had as his siblings had filed into the den for the evening. Sleep had quickly become the cub's favorite family activity, not because of the rest or the quiet, but rather when surrounded by the warmth of so many bodies Bosk felt at ease. Actually, it was the only time when a frequently tense little frame could finally relax and the exhaustion of keeping track of such a huge litter hit him full force.
Even now, as he tried to finish his final count to be sure everyone had made it home safe and sound, olive eyes drooped with the heavy demand of slumber. Throughout the day he spent his hours watching over his kin, herding them and trying to keep each one within immediate eye-shot of himself, but it was a daunting task! Bosk was all too happy to oblige them in any games and adventures they wished to take part in as long as he could coax them to all do it together. An appeal that was far more complicated than it sounded. Even if he could figure out a way to make sure that all their desires were being met in one giant list of events there was always the off chance that two or more of his sisters and brothers weren't getting along that day and had no desire to be that close to one another.
Sometimes it was a battle that couldn't be won and then Boskos was stuck attempting to keep himself in range of the separated groups just in case one or the other got themselves into trouble and needed to be rescued. Ultimately, he was the shepherd though and to be physically incapable of keeping the group from wandering off on their own in as many different directions as there were cubs caused his chest to tighten with anxiety. Just the thought of it made it hard for Skos to breathe. Combating the claustrophobic panic attack by climbing over several other bodies until he was lost amidst the nest of dusty greys, charcoal black and other assorted, natural colored pelts Boskos sighed.
Even though he wasn't the first born, some of the other pride members often mistook him as such, but who ever said that the oldest had to be the one to tend the flock? Whether Luxe was up to the task or not seemed inconsequential. Boskos could no more change his innate impulses than any of his brethren could change theirs. Guardian of his siblings he would remain and he supposed that keeping after them wasn't so bad. A small smile curling his chin-striped maw as he pushed Hime's twitching paw gently out of Ayofemi's face, not that he seemed to mind with an every present dopey grin upon his lips even in his sleep. As far as family went, he could have done worse.. head resting lightly upon Ushas back as he settled into the inviting warmth of piled bodies. About to drift off into the embrace of unconsciousness when his eyes popped open again, round and wide. Just one more count.. to be sure.
One.. two.. three.. four.. five.. six.......
Possible Future Plots: Distract Me from My Anxiety; I imagine this will be pretty difficult to do given his almost compulsive obsession with trying to constantly herd his siblings, but it'd be cool for him to find at least one friend who can completely immerse him in their presence and allow him to relinquish his need to always be around his siblings and sure that they're safe and together. This will definitely be needed as they all get older and are pulling him in 11+ different directions.
Shepherd to the Flock; Being a guardian suits him perfectly considering he's already the little guardian of his own family, this might be able to be combined with the above plot idea, but I'd like him to transfer his protective/guardian nature towards his siblings and learn to apply it to the entire pride. I feel that his anxiety would be lessened if he had the entire pride to look after and knowing that there are other guardians to help, though conversely he might chastise guardians that he didn't feel were doing their job well enough. xD
Running the Gauntlet; For way later on an ongoing plot, but I'd love for him to meet all seven of his sister's future mates before they tie the knot... even if they happen to leave the pride (though that would probably kill him) he will track them down to check out their guy before they settle down. I'll probably get him a familiar to help with the task of keeping track of any siblings who leave the pride. Do they plan on leaving the pride?: I don't foresee and permanent leaving, but if anything came up that might lead him away I would definitely discuss it with you guys first! How many Dawnwalkers do you own?: Three; 1 unlined (female). 2 lined (male & female).

. [ Male Cub Plz ] . Name: Adio Name Origin: Egyptian Future Rank: Guardian
RP Prompt #: 1 Prompt Response: Adio's family was large. Huge. Enormous! Everywhere he looked there was a lion, and more times than not it was a cub or two. Day and night he was constantly surrounded by company, regardless of whether he liked it or not. But in truth, he loved it! Having so many to snuggle up with, play with, and the like, what was there to hate! In truth, Adio wasn't one for being alone. It felt.. strange.. Out of the norm. Perhaps it came with the familiarity he felt with having such an impressive family. Of course there were the few times he didn't like being crowded or when he got into silly little fights with his siblings, but it never lasted long, and didn't truly skew his feelings.
It was very delightful to wake with the pleasant warmth of equally fuzzy bodies, and the rise and fall of his littermates even breathing. He'd nuzzle into the cub pile, burrowing further into it, giving a few licks or snuggles to a few of his siblings, before settling back into slumbers embrace. The hours that were to follow were full of play, groomings, and the occasional exploring! Of course, that was done under strict supervision by the many adults watching over him and his brothers and sisters, but Adio didn't mind! The additional extending family members were a thrill to have, and he liked to push their buttons from time to time just to see how far he could get with them. It was all in mere childish play, of course. But their reactions gave the little cub a great deal of entertainment.
With having so many members that also came with various personality's, likes and dislikes, which added to the wonder of it all. Some of his siblings were quiet, others were brash, some were energetic, and others were more serious. But he liked all of their different traits equally, finding fun even in what set them apart from each other.
So no. Having such a grand family did not hinder nor bother Adio. Not in the slightest. It did the exact opposite~<3
{ugh so short.. u ua; }
Possible Future Plots: Won't be determined until rp'd~ Do they plan on leaving the pride?: no How many Dawnwalkers do you own?: o, unfortunately.
