Alpaca?

Originally she had followed her much taller companion because she had heard that something had happened to Fluffy - she had started to become enamoured to her little skeletal puppy, so it was pretty evident that she was worried about as to what would have happened.

But an Alpaca?

Pursing her lips, she didn't decide to stay much longer than was requested, and danced off behind Mengyao, wondering what the hell an alpaca was doing on the reserve, and why they had allowed it to wander off so easily. Whatever, as long as her puppy was fine.

Molpadia blinked slightly at the Priestess' description - Mr. Fluffy was...fluffy with an oddly shaped head. Imagine that. Still it didn't seem like they were going to get any more then that to go on and really she was still fairly certain the beast was probably dead somewhere so she doubted it mattered much in the long run.

In any case, Molpadia decided she would make a token effort to look for this creature, this super fluffy Mr. Fluffy and spreading her wings she leap into the air to start searching, perhaps she could spot the beast from above, certainly it would make quartering the area a bit faster.

Senga wasn't one for crowds.

Ones with more than four people he usually tried to actively avoid. So why he was here was rather questionable. In fact, the entire situation was extremely questionable. The horseman had landed silently near to Jay, folding his wings neatly and listening to the hollow rattle of his skulls. He didn't bother to ask questions; in situations like these, he'd found that most everyone else usually got around to the most important ones if he just waited long enough. Lazy? Maybe. Helpful in keeping away from awkward encounters? Of course. The executioner frowned at the mention of a "Mr. Fluffy", leaning forward to catch the words more clearly.

He'd heard of stupid names before; some of the younger horseman from War used to claim titles for their procured creatures of the jungle, showing him frogs and tortoises and tarantula's all with ridiculous names. But really, a head priestess calling something "Fluffy"? Senga frowned, trying desperately to keep serious beneath his hood. Straightening up at the request, Senga blinked. He didn't much care for great compensation, but it was a job, wasn't it? The Weeping Forest could only be so interesting for so long, and after all, it was sort of like tracking, and he hadn't done that in so long. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.

Of course... there was still the question of just what Mr. Fluffy was. Sighing, Senga extended a wingtip and gently tapped Jay's shoulder. For all her jibberjabber, maybe she'd be helpful. And... well, she was a... friend. Thing. Maybe.

Not that he would ever admit that one out loud.

"Do you want to go together?"

He didn't wait for her answer before extending his wings and backpedaling into the air. If she wanted to come, she would.

She curiously eyed Medea as she stood patiently, waiting for the priestess to answer. Her eyes were wide and intently focused on the death horsewoman. Jay’s expression changed only slightly as Medea began to clumsily describe Mr. Fluffy. Sometimes she would nod her head slowly and mutter a quick “Uh huh, yes, I see.” Her expression was as blank as her eyes. Clearly, the horsewoman had almost no clue what kind of creature Medea was attempting to describe. The problem didn’t bother her much, though. How difficult could it be to find a fluffy creature with a heart-shaped head?

Jay perked up even more at the mention of being rewarded. She smiled. Rewards sounded very nice. Expensive cloth also sounded useful. Her decision was made. She was going to try looking for this mysterious Mr. Fluffy and his many kinsmen! It sounded like a fun way to procrastinate kill time help her clan!

There was a gentle brush against her shoulder and she turned toward it. Her eyes began to almost sparkle when she realized it was Senga. “Senga! You’reheretoo—“ She zipped her lips together to allow him to speak. Upon hearing his proposition, she broke out into a large grin and nodded her head. “You don’t even need to ask!” Jay was practically bouncing in place. Senga was actually asking her to tag along! This was so excitingexcitingexciting—

She spread her wings and followed after him.

Erintis had stood back seeing the crowd of clansmen walking around a newly built structure. That was definitely not something she had seen earlier this week when she was here. But then again she did have a habit of not paying attention to all the details.

The head priestess looked so distraught,

"High Priestess Medea..."

Her words trailed off as she watched the head priestess wave her arms, she managed to smile. This was familiar to her, someone else that felt out of her element in the open world and not hidden behind temple doors. A fluffy creature? One that's fur makes cloth...she couldn't have lost. Looking around she winced maybe that creature the head priestess kept guarded was the creature she was frantic to find. Nodding slowly she turned to find out where the prints lead.

Oh Queeen, alpaca.

Fluffy alpaca.

Either Medea gone bonkers, or there's something with the Halloween town itself. Think of this, Eisheth realized she knew very little about other clans. Perhaps, alpacas have a special religious value for Death clansmen? They are known to be freaks with their beliefs, so alpacas won't really change a thing. Anyway, a formal request for the head priestess isn't something to debate on. If she needs alpacas, then we have to go and look for alpacas.

No matter what Medea did or said, Aisa's opinion would never change.

Soren stood back as the informal meeting took place. He did not raise his voice to question Medea, as there was no need to. He simply took in the information as best he could, and then turned to leave. A priestess had a mission, so this was obviously the most important mission he had been given since they had arrived here.

Mjoll stood there there looking at the priestess when she said Mr. Fluffy. The jewel crafter's eyes blinked a few times, as if she was trying to understand correctly what her priestess had said.

At least until the others started leaving so Mjoll decided she might as well help out too. Anything for the priestess.

Kiwi was busy making his daily rounds through the Clan. One of his foremost tasks on Famine was guard patrol, and in keeping with Clan tradition, he had taken to patrolling the Lost Clans daily. He was just skirting his way past the center of the reserve, when a commotion at the leader's tent caught his eye. Silently and curiously, the horseman slipped over.

An empty pen, a rather large empty pen, stood slightly ajar, and entirely surrounded by perplexed horsemen. It seemed almost the entire Clan had gathered. That was peculiar. He had not noticed this pen just yesterday ... had Medea been renovating already?? ...

Snatches and phrases were coming from his fellow clansmen.

"Mr. Fluffy-"
"An alpaca?? ... I've never heard of suc-"

... missing. We need to search Amity ..."

So there were missing alpacas wandering through Amityville?? ... As much as he distrusted the Halloweeners, this seemed to be a matter of urgency among the Clan. Kiwi steeled his jaw. It was time to take down some alpacas, the Famine way - as quickly and efficiently as possible.

He gauged the direction of Amity, and took off, leaping and dashing stealthily through every available shelter along the way.

Leading the Alpaca back towards the pens, Erintis bowed respectfully to the head priestess,

"High Priestess Medea, I have managed to find one of the missing alpacas you tasked us to bring back."

Looking around she didn't see many others, frowning slightly,

"We were supposed to bring them back to you, were we not? I would just like to state that if it were not for another clansmen, Mmur, I would not have been able to bring this one back."

She lead the alpaca in to the pen and then turned to see if the head priestess had any other tasks for her.

Molpadia was not in a good mood - indeed she was sore and bruised and the alpaca behind her wasn't all that pleased with its lot this morning either judging by the way it kept digging it's heels in and bleating in protest. Stubborn beast.

"I've brought back your beast" Molpadia stated as she shoved it into the pen, only now noticing that someone else had brought back a different one. Great..maybe neither of them was the missing Mr. Fluffy. "Are either of these the one your looking for?"

Fai came next, his hands hidden under his robes, an alpaca following him, led by a vine wrapped around its neck. The alpaca looked extremely sedate, and a bit frayed around the edges thanks to precious and a helpful third year student. When the vine (which apparently seemed to be part of Fai's hair, precious) motioned the alpaca into the pen, it went in peacefully (with a bit of relief, even.)

He couldn't say that he regretted the time he had spent wrangling it. He had met a very interesting creature doing so.

This task that Medea had sent the other horsemen was more enjoyable than Jay had thought it would be. Originally she had been ambivalent about the idea of wrangling foreign, fluffy creatures, but now that the war horsewoman realized that they were rounding up alpacas that changed things a bit. For one thing, alpacas were very fluffy and Jay appreciated fluffy things. Second? Senga had asked her to come with him wowthatwassoexcitingexcitingwow.

Riding an alpaca was also fun.

“Yeahhhhh!” Jay let out a rather loud whoop as both she and Senga re-entered the grounds on an alpaca. She happily buried her face into its fur before squeezing its neck and urging it to stop. “Stopstopstopbuddystoppppp.” The horsewoman giggled madly as she continued to sit on the creature. Then she twisted around to look at her friend. “Well, I guess it’s time to get off now.” She frowned deeply. Get off? Really? Sighing, Jay reluctantly slid off its back.

“So we need to put this in the pen, right?” A puffy cheeked Jay slowly put the alpaca back.

Out of the way of the pen, behind a tree, one lone figure lingered, arms crossed, watching.

This was completely unnecessary, and yet, at the same time, just mildly intriguing. Whether it was a game worth watching or not, however, depended ultimately on the players, and to some extent, the hostess of said game. As of yet they showed little potential- perhaps things would change.

Chuckling softly, the figure turned, and disappeared back into the shadows. There were more pressing matters to attend to.

Like tea parties.
