 Kai stopped his water fight, but was prepared to block anything that Seren put his way. "I mean he'll be head of the house when his father is gone, but he has no interest in the family business and he embarrassment to the family to no end." Kai answered. He was unsure how to go about saying what his cousin was like. He didn't want to give the wrong impression.

 Seren nods her head and decides to stop her childish water fight with Kai. But she couldn't help give him an evil looking smile instead of her sweet, kind, and gentle one. She then looks down at her clothes. They were light blue with a hint of a dark blue as well. Which most Water Tribe members wore.

Kai sigh that she gave up on the water fight. "Best thing water fights at the beach." He commented mentioning that he like that location as a place to have some fun. The waiter returned with their food and set it down on the table. "Hmm. Food." He joked before picking up some arctic hen and sticking it in his mouth.

Seren couldn't help but smile before doing a sneak attack on Kai with a little bit larger water bubble almost the size of a yuan. She couldn't help but laugh as it landed straight on Kai's head. "Rember don't take your eyes off your opponent Kai." The young water bender says to him before smiling seeing her food had arrived. "Mmmm sea prunes."

Kai was surprised by the sudden hit. He acted like he didn't care it happened and started to eat his meal before with some quick action hitting Seren in the forehead again. He then started eat eating with a smile on his face. "Nothing is better than a good meal of seaweed noodles." He commented and started to much on them, taking a piece of hen in his mouth here and there.

Seren just let out a soft humph when she was once again hit in the forehead. She then takes a bite out of her sea prunes and smiles. It just tasted like her mother had made it right here. "So how's your artic hen and seaweed noodles." The woman asks him in her soft voice.

Kai pushed the dishes forward to. " Try for yourself." He told her with a grin on his face It may not have been common etiquette, but in the water tribes it wasn't uncommon to share food like that. Big families meant that there was a sharing of food. "If you like this then you should try my mothers cooking." He joked.

Pushing her bowl of sea prunes over to Kai, Seren then takes a bite out of his artic hen and closes her eyes. It was absolutely delicious. "It's delicious Kai." She says after she finished eating her bite of his food. Look at his brown eyes, Seren almost felt her heart melt. Trying to clear her head, Seren looks down at her hands but she ocasionally looked up to meet his brown eyes. Her blue eyes just couldn't help but state at him.

Kai took a sea prune just like Seren had taken some arctic hen and started to munch down on it. He loved the food that reminded him of home the best. He then looked back at Seren. " Yum. Good choice." He told her with a smile as he looked into her eyes as well. He blushed a little, but them man was too shy to make the first move in asking someone on a proper date.

Taking a deep breath, Seren for once in her life had nothing to say. She wanted was to reach out and take Kai's hand in hers and lace their fingers together. But she knew that was wrong. So instead, Seren got up the courage to finally ask the Northern Water Tribe man. "So um....Kai do you um.....want to possible go out with me?" Seren said her whole sentence fast and it sound all mixed together. Possiable even hard for Kai understand what she had just said

Kai's face turned red and as many shades of red that was possible with his tan skin. She was a bit bolder then he thought she was. Kai was speechless for a second then he gained his voice "Only if you want to. I'd love to spend more time with you. You already know the warning of dating me." He answered her.

Hearing his answer, Seren's tan face turned rosey a bit. She was so happy to hear the male water benders answer about dating each other. The young benders face just lit up. She really didn't care that their relationship maybe a bit distant, that was just fine with her. She after all was an independent kind of girl so she would have a lot of other things to do while Kai was busy practicing for the pro-benders.

Kai looked into Seren's eyes and smiled. He was flad that she was willing to make a first mov e at least. It would have taken forever for Kai to get the courage to ask her out. "I am honored that you think of me well enough to date me. I promise to make you happy while I can." He told the woman. He had his pride and honor as a man to keep to his word.

Seren put her hand on the table for Kai to take if he wanted to. "And I promise to make you happy as well as I can." Theyoung water bender says to him in her soft voice. She was so excited that she basically bouncing off the seat she was sitting in her but she new she had to keep her cool.

Kai took her hand and pulled it up to his lips before giving it a kiss. "Promise me that you'll tell me if I do something wrong and if there is something on your mind. I want to try to be the best boyfriend I can so please be honest with me." He told Seren. He would listen to her worries and fears and be a protector for her. He knew that he would have to take her to meet his family now.
