How many SoA do you currently own? 1.
HEY BLUE EYES Name: Alama’Fikira Meaning: Speckled thoughts. Alluding to his mind jumping from subject to subject, spot to spot.
Personality: Curiosity and an open mind, possibly due to his interesting parental situation. Those baby blue eyes take in everything they possibly can and mull it all over, often times to the point of obsession. If something is happening, be it in the lives of other animals or the community as a whole, he wants to know, but lacks the grace to be subtle about it. Instead, he asks unintentionally blunt questions that might make things awkward, but in his thirst for knowledge, he is often times oblivious to this. When rebuked for such questions, he finds himself genuinely puzzled, but will apologize with a bewildered look on his face and continue on his way. Because he is always caught up in his head, his thoughts, his curiosities, and his little collection of things he finds interesting, he can be easily snuck up on or can, in mid-conversation, zone out just a bit, his mind wandering over to something or another. His attention span has a habit of being fairly short. Despite his tendencies to be scatterbrained, he generally means well. It just takes patience and determination to really keep his mind in the moment and if you are someone he truly cares about, he will make the effort to stop and listen to what you have to say. Future ideas for cub: I would love for him to snoop around and learn more about this mysterious God of Harvest. He would be highly interested in all religious rituals but may annoy those around him after they are done with constant questions of why this or who that. Perhaps he would even try to take a peek at the lands the God is said to own.
anything else? He is a collector of anything he finds fascinating. This could mean things from a simple feather to the bone of a deceased animal or anything at all that he deems interesting. There is no real rhyme or reason to his collection and he picks things up spur of the moment. Never looking but always finding.

ONE SIDE OF THE SAME COIN name Ayo'Enye meaning Joy of the Dark
personality Ayo'Enye is a very brooding lion, a little obsessive over things and always focused on what others call his twin. He's developed his insecurity over his white brother quite early, which contributed to his often moody and gloomy disposition when interacting with others. However, he hides that fact a little too well, and people would see him as being more selfish and conceited.
He comes off as rude, is sometimes snappy, and perhaps as a result of his upbringing and being shunned in favor of his twin, acts in a direct opposite behavior on the surface. There will be a desire in him to prove himself out of insecurities, and he will also feel desperate at times, dropping his standards for others, and eventually, females. Perhaps in the future, he'll reach out to all ladies in desperation, just for his rivalry; he'll want to woo more ladies than his twin.
prompt response Ayo'Enye suppresses his disdain for his lighter counterpart whenever he is approached. His twin didn't understand; his twin was deceptive, liked, and praised to be the perfect boy of their litter... How could no one know?
Ayo'Enye had to keep it a secret; no one would believe him otherwise. He had no proof for the things his twin did or thought about and confided in him. Ayo'Enye was smart and clever, and in being that, he knew he had to keep his twin's darkness a secret... at least, until there was a time to use it against him. He would even play along. He would be there to listen, to calmly nod and perhaps even smile when his twin vented off unwarranted anger at his friends. He would build on this trust... and when it was least expected, Ayo'Enye would have the upper paw.
Ayo'Enye would never wish harm to befall his family, but only wishes to reveal his brother's true intentions at some point in life, if he ever got the chance. Part of him is afraid, by the characteristics his brother exhibits, that there is a possibility his twin could threaten his family. That is why he must wait, keep watch on his twin, and prove his loyalty, so he could keep a closer watch and prevent anything if it happens.
WINDOW TO THE SOUL Name: Hadharani Meaning: Dark complexion

RED PASSION Name: Iva Meaning: Turn red
Personality: Iva isn't particularly inclined to be knowledgeable or know things, thus she'll be a mostly carefree cub, simply living life as it is for her with no questions asked. She loves her family dearly, almost in a way that makes her act like she has three parents: that of her two fathers and her aunt. She knows her dad is a twin to her aunt, but thinks nothing more than that. She is satisfied with the simple things in life, and asks for nothing more. She will take her family's potential bickering in stride, but will hope to lighten situations innocently or will try and do something to put a smile on someone's face. Anything else? Just your usual harmless innocent girl! She'll grow up tomboyish because of her fathers, but will be inclined to like boys.
prompt response: (a) Iva does not care about her family situation! She thinks nothing is wrong with it, as that was the life she was born into, and no one is asking about it, so there is no problem. She is excitable whenever aunt Keaira comes, being one of the few moments she has the feeling of being "mothered". As an adult, she will understand that males can't produce offspring with males, but also may not care to know who her true mother is. Perhaps in her heart, she will know it was Keaira all along, but that won't change her family dynamics or the way she treats everyone. Because Keaira already looked like her father and was around her and her siblings all the time, she will have already treated her like a mother in a way.

ONE SIDE OF THE SAME COIN name Nye'Barafu meaning Black Ice
personality Nye is very similar to his "twin". On the outside, he seems like a somewhat pleasant cub who plays well with others. However, he has a much shorter temper than his brother is not nearly as good at hiding his emotions. He obviously feels bitter towards others for the way they treat him and for constantly comparing them and this shows which only makes them alienate him more. His attempts to hide his feelings come off as being surly, sulky, and cold.
One might assume that he would dislike his brother for the way that others treat him. Rather, Nye sees his brother as the only refuge in a storm. He doesn't blame his brother for anything and feels honored in a way that Asi would trust him and be willing to show his "true self" to his brother.
prompt response Why can't you be more like your brother?
Nye heard this phrase from someone at least once a day. It always evoked the same sour taste in his mouth and rolling feeling in his stomach. It also made him want to laugh. He wanted to ask the others, do you think you really know my brother? I am the only person who really knows my brother.
Nye knew his twin's secret. There were things that he told Nye that he would never tell anyone else. They praised him for being nicer and more fun to be around and it was true. Asi had a way about him that was much more appealing. Nye didn't mind that. However, he didn't need people constantly telling him that, over and over again.
But it was no matter. He ignored them, just like his brother said. He would tell his brother about it later and Asi would joke about them and make him feel better. He always did.

HEY BLUE EYES Name: Safimtu Meaning: "Pure one"
Personality: A mischievious little bugger. Safi is a curious little boy and seems to get into things he's not supposed to rather often. When he gets into trouble, he'll adopt a puppy eyes look with his bright blue eyes and whimper about how he didn't mean to do it and he won't do it again, he promises! Of course he'll do it again, but he'll try his best to sweet talk his way out of trouble for the moment! He's a super curious cub and sticks his nose everywhere, always asking "Why?". Why does the sun rise each morning? Why do some cubs have two dads and others don't? Why does he have to go to bed now??? Future ideas for cub: While Safi loves his two dads, he realizes early on that such a life is not for him. He likes the girls~ And what girl doesn't love his pretty blue eyes? Or at least Safi thinks that they all do and that they all are tripping over themselves to be with him.
anything else?

WINDOW TO THE SOUL Name: Ndoto'msichana Meaning: “dream girl”
How many SoA do you currently own? 24 + 1 familiar
HEY BLUE EYES Name: Wapoteza Meaning: “led astray”
Personality: Wapoteza likes to be in charge even if he is a little thing right now. He has a very controlling personality. Since he is only a cub, it isn't so bad right now as he easily gets distracted by things. As he gets older it will become more and more evident. He just likes to have things his way and will get very upset if someone decides to not listen to him. He is very irresponsible. It is not a good idea to give him a responsibility. He will most likely forget about it and end up doing something else. His mind wanders a lot. It can be difficult to befriend him. For the most part, he is an unpleasant little thing though. When it comes to his family, he is actually very loving though he doesn't like to be scolded or told to do things. Future ideas for cub: I would love for Wapoteza to end up asking his father's about their relationship. He'll be all confused for awhile and not quite understand. Then as he gets older he'll figure it out. Of course, he'll accept them and still love them.
It would be great if he could find a girl that accepted him the way he is and was still pleasant to him. He will have no idea why she is nice to him. It would be even better if she didn't listen to him as it would drive him nuts. Whether or not they ended up together would be up to the girl.
I want Wapoteza to become a Yaya and have to deal with cubs that never listen to him. That would be hilarious and a definite learning experience for him. It would be funny if he lost one of them due to his ability to be distracted so very easily.
anything else? Nope.

ONE SIDE OF THE SAME COIN name Asi'Aswad meaning Disobedient Darkness personality Twin to Asi'Sakitu, Asi'Aswad has never quite taken to pride life, idle gossip, menial tasks and the like. Unlike Sakitu, he refuses to put up a front (although he is quite impressed with his brother's) and often comes off as abrupt and demeaning to those of his age, and a little rude and dismissive to elders. Despite these traits, he finds himself sympathetic to those in difficult situations, the sick, the injured, etc, but he does try to keep himself above it all with his distaste for many people. prompt response Sly and quick, Aswad had tendencies towards simple thievery, often aided by his familiar. He steals only what he thinks he can get away with. In an easy barter system, Aswad listens to Sakitu's troubles and occassionally goes out of his way to bother a particularly loathsome friend of his twin's, and Sakitu charms others out of punishment for Aswad's small crimes. As Aswad gets older, it becomes more and more difficult to refrain from lashing out at others, listening to his twin's troubles, and he considers more heavily the possibility leaving the pride to live the life of a rogue. It's difficult, though, to judge how well he'd get along in the outside world without Sakitu there to keep him out of deep trouble. He feels responsible in some ways to his brother, and doesn't fail to realize how his actions could consequently affect Sakitu. If he were to detach himself wholly from his twin, he had no idea how the loss of this responsibility would change the way he acted. Could he go too far? Cross too many lines? It's not out of the realm of possibility. So, he continues to drop small hints to rogue life to his brother as they age, unsure how his twin will respond, and if he might be convinced to leave.

ONE SIDE OF THE SAME COIN Name Kanzu'giza Meaning Dark coat (Swahili)
Personality As a cub he appears to be perpetually in a bad mood. Snappish towards others and generally antisocial the only one he truly spends any time with his his twin, mainly because said twin takes no notice of Kanzu's lack of manners and generally ignores anything Kanzu says to the effect of 'get lost'. Yet it is not that Kanzu hates other lions, but he doesn't see why he should say anything other than what he truly thinks. He is cynical at the best of times and painfully blunt in his speech, and will tell you if you are annoying him or otherwise unwelcome. Other youngsters quickly learn never to ask Kanzu's opinion on things as he simply says exactly what he thinks instead of taking into account their feelings on the matter. However, if you do manage to befriend him, Kanzu is a dedicated and trustworthy ally to have at your back. He will tell you when you are being stupid, but he will risk life and limb for a lion he considers worth the effort. Entirely unselfish he is the mirror to his polite but self-centered twin, and as he matures he is a very valuable friend to have. Someone you can rely on when the going gets tough. Just don't leave him alone with the inlaws!
Prompt response Kanzu lifted a lip at the cub in front of him, irritation sparking in his eyes as he growled. "So? Go on and tell your precious daddy that a fatherless cub beat you in a game. Like I care what he thinks of me." The youth, who had previously followed him around and beged him to play a game of tag an hour before, burst into angry tears, turned and fled, presumably to find his father and tattle on Kanzu. Though why the brat thought it was Kanzu's fault he sucked at tag was anyone's guess.
Snorting with annoyance the dark-coated cub turned his back on the group of other youngsters playing close by and stalked off to sit on his own, near desperate for some peace and quiet after the annoying sobbing accusations the brat had tossed at him after bugging Kanzu to play with him. Taking a deep breath when he was finally far out of ear shot of the other youngsters high-pitched laughter and playful taunts, Kanzu let his body slide to the ground and closed his eyes. No doubt the brat's dad would be along soon enough to 'give him a talking to' full of whatever lies the little tattle-tale had spewed. Kanzu didn't care. he knew what had happened, it was no skin of his nose if the brat couldn't hold his own against cubs his own age. And at least that was one less annoyance to bother him in the future.
Kanzu just didn't understand his peers... why they kept coming back for more abuse when he had made it so perfectly clear he didn't want to play with them. Yet come back they did, sometimes more than once or twice... thinking that he needed someone to play with. But eventually, after a few well placed remarks, they usually got the hint and left him alone. There had been one youth, another boy of dubious parentage, who had tried to befriend Kanzu... He had been cheerful to the point of irritation but would sit with Kanzu chattering away and not demand anything of the grumpy dark-coloured cub in return. After days of such company Kanzu had started to get used to his presence, to anticipate the other's arrival. Though he never let himself admit he looked forward to those visits he had noticed when the other boy had stopped coming round. Kanzu never had found out why the cub had suddenly disappeared, and he told himself he didn't care... But every so often he found himself recalling those few weeks.
Snorting at his own sentimentality he sat up, shaking his coat free of dust before twisting at the familiar sound of paw steps. "Oh.. its you Asi." Frowning at his pale and oh so perfect twin brother, Kanzu flopped back down. There would be no peace now with his twin around...
