Enmity to Yu Lady Whimsical In my opinion, it depends on the situation. If you were raped or if your pregnancy poses as a threat to your life, I say you have the right to abort the fetus. Pero if you had unprotected sex, like not wearing a condom or missing the pill, then by all means it's your responsibility. Don't have sex until you know the consequences it comes with. Tsk tsk, virgin ka pa ate no? HAHA Joke. pero eto, Bibigyan kita situation. May isang nanay na walang asawa Meron siyang 6 na anak na siya ang nagpapalaki at nagaalaga Tapos nabuntis siya at para mabuhay siya ay kailangang iabort yung batang nasa sinapupunan niya. I don't think me being a virgin or being sexually active affects my opinion at all. Based on your first sentence, I'd say you're the one whose mind is makitid and rather immature.
Anyways, I'm just curious, paano nabuntis si nanay kung wala na syang asawa? If she was having sex with someone else and then she got pregnant, it was her decision to have sexual relations.. is it not? If she already has six children and she's struggling to make ends meet, why did she even plan on having another child?
Pero let's have another example where the mother is already pregnant when the father died. In my opinion lang ha, before having a big family with 6 children, I think it's the parents' responsibility to make sure the future of their kids are secure. Siguro before even creating their 3rd child, dapat nagdalawang isip muna sila kung financially stable sila (enough savings in the bank, for instance) to even have more children.
But to answer your question, if her life is at risk due to pregnancy, I say she has the right to abortion. Pero if she isn't in danger, I stick to my earlier answers. |

Hindi ako nakikipagtaasan ng pride ah pero ganto kasi yan. Mayaman ang Pilipinas actually, pero yung Pilipinas lang kasi yung ibang bansa ang nakikinabang. Yung mga mamamayan sa Pilipinas yun yung mahirap. Yung mga mahihirap tingin mo bakit lalo silang dumadami? Hindi sila makahanap ng trabaho. Kaya ang tendency ay magparami na lang sila. May point di ba? Kaya kung susuriin mo mas maraming mahirap na maraming anak kesa sa mayayaman na edukado kaya alam nilang mas okay pag kunti ang pamilya. Kulang kasi sa sex ed.

Ipapaampon nila yun sa iba? Habang maaga pa agapan. Pigilan muna yang pagiging relihiyoso , pigilan muna pagiging radical, pigilan ang pagiging makitid na utak. Sir, I'm sorry pero I had a hard time understanding your point. If you feel like I'm putting words in your mouth, do correct me. But you said something about sexual education? I'm all for that. In fact, that's what I was referring to when I said people should think twice whether they could afford having more kids and if they can't, they should opt for contraception. Although, I don't think abortion is the saving grace of the Philippines' economy.
I live in Canada, and in my opinion, my country's success has more to do with effective co-existing between cultures and hardwork than the legality of abortion. I know abortion is legal here in Canada pero not everyone supports it. Also, me being a Catholic has little to do with my stance. Yes, abortion is entirely against my religion pero what weighs more to me is its clash against my values. Call me what you want but I do think abortion is wrong and should be avoided. But then again, if you were raped or if your life is endangered, it's your decision since it's not like you chose to be in that situation.
Reinstating my point, if you can't be responsible in carrying a child for 9 months and raising it, don't engage in unprotected sex. My God, there are tons of contraceptives out there invented by us humans so why not use it rather than killing a poor fetus. |
