The prince blushed as he was pushed against his loyal knight. He paused as the butler walked passed them. The echo of the butler's feet slowly came to a silence. Tori sighed then looked up at Nicholas." May I ask how this special someone is?" he said as he looked away from his knight.

Nicholas jumped when he heard the butler's voice.
"Prince Val, must I remind you that you have a very busy day and you Mr. Thorn, you need to be making your rounds." The butler says glaring at the two.

Tori never jumped once he heard the butler's voice. He was too used to it from years of running away and hiding." Pfft I need a break some times and how many treaties do I have to sign in one day?!?!." he said, rubbing his temple. Why did this guy piss him off?!

"Today you will sign ten treaties and make sure all the other royal officials get in and greeted before the ball tonight" The butler says crossing his arms still glaring at the two male's in front of him.
"Come on, Mr. Rouge, can't the prince get one little break?" Nicholas asked
"Didn't I tell you to make your rounds?"
"I do what the Prince says not you!"
"I can make sure you are fired and replaced by another knight more suitable for the job."
Nicholas froze for a moment and stared at the butler. He shook his head and looked at Tori for a moment. He walked down the hall alone holding onto his sword that was on his hip.

Tori sighed at the duties that he had to do. He just watched as his loyal knight walked down the hall." There! You happy?!?!" he said harshly as he turned and started to speed walk towards his study.

"Very, now get what needs to be done early so you can greet the guests." He orders walking in the opposite direction.

Nicholas mae his rounds around the castle and decided to take a break in the study. He walks into the study noticing the prince and closed the door behind him. "That butler of yours kept his eyes on me until I got to the tower then he left. So I came here to check on you" He says sitting on the desk that the prince was working on. "Take a break" Nicholas runs his fingers through Tori's hair and smiles at him.

Tori blinked a couple of times at Nicholas. He ready had bags under his eyes and looked drained." He is annoying isn't he??" he said with a chuckle." A nap sounds pretty nice right now." The prince chuckled again while he rubbed the back of his back.

Nicholas pulled the prince out of his chair and over to the window that had a window seat in front of it. He sat down pulling the prince on top of him. "Just rest" He says putting his arms around Tori's waist.

Nicholas sniffed the prince's hair and then laid his head back. He drifted off to sleep holding the person that was special to him tightly.

~Few hours later~
Nicholas woke up from a knock at the door. He picked up the prince trying not to wake him. He laid him on the window seat and walked over to the door. He opened the door to see the butler glaring at him.
"Is the prince finished with his work?" He asks.
"yes, he's just reviewing it"
"Good, tell him to be ready cause the royal officials are almost here"
Nicholas closes the door and leans against it.

The prince never woke up with his knight moved him. He did,however, woke up when he heard the butler at the door. He listened as Nicholas told him that he was reviewing his work. Tori sat up and looked at Nicholas, rubbing his eye." Is he finally gone??." he said with a yawn.
