Thank you Mogami! heart

Here have some fresh milk!
Which cub are you going for? Twin girl
Name: Banafrit
Meaning: Beautiful soul
Future Rank: Artisan
Personality: Very demure in nature, though her shyness only lasts for as long as she doesn't know your name (It's getting her to actually MEET new people that's the challange.) Has a bit of a tendency to fret and worry over things. She is very devoted to her family and will often try to settle arguments between siblings. Very kind and calm. Loves to sing and has a sweet, pure voice.
Plots: I suppose I'd really like a plot to find a partner that she can fall completely head over paws in love with and not realize that she's got feelings for them until it's 'too late'. She'd brush off suitors or turn them away mostly because of her nature and a strong sense of 'All I need in life is my family' but a little bit because of her disease.
Prompt: #3

She couldn't stand fighting. No, she couldn't understand it. Sometimes one of her sisters did something that made her upset and frustrated but Banafrit was sure she'd never actually gotten actually mad at any of them. It always seemed like such an exhausting experience, being angry. She'd much rather wait for the squabbling to end and then quietly work out the problem that had arisen.

It didn't always work. Sometimes she said the wrong thing, or they didn't want to listen to her and they'd end up shouting at her instead. It was then that Bana would sulk towards her father, curl up small against his side and wait for hot heads to cool down. They always cooled down, she just had to be patient.

Oh can’t you see?
When will she go blind? Late juvenile
How well does she cope with it? Initially she'll have difficulty. Naturally she will be distressed, even with a mother and siblings that are blind one still can never expect it to happen to oneself. She has family to be there for her, however, and hopefully make it easier to learn and grow and develop a way to live with it. Once she's over the initial hardship of re-learning how to take in the world around her she will be no more different for the lack of sight.

Here have some fresh milk!
Which cub are you going for? Twin girl
Name: Kamilah
Meaning: Perfection
Future Rank: Huntress
Personality: Kamilah seems to be full of contradictions, but that really isn't the case. The dark cub really cares what others think, and really doesn't like standing out. She's quick to upset, and hates the thing she sees as the main difference between her and her sisters.

However, the girl puts out a strong front, stuffing her emotions and worries away, because they'll only draw more attention to how pathetic (her words not mine) she is. The persona she plays is that of a straightforward, unafraid, impossible to embarass, stubborn girl. Her thoughts and actions can differ drastically, like if one one of her siblings was injured she might be silently worrying over whether they'll alright, but instead of showing that concern, she'll act playful and unworried because her sister is just fine!

But there are some similarities between her softer inner self, and the role she's forced herself into, no matter what she really doesn't like being treated special because her lack of sight, and she is fiercely protective of her family and (when she gets them) close friends. As she gets older the two personalities (inner and outer) will merge, but only time will tell how.
Plots: I wouldn't mind...
-One with her mother about how terrifiying losing sight is
-One with her father about seeing, and not seeing, now and the future
-One (or more) with one (or more :3) of her sisters, where she's sick of being treated differently simply because some lack of sight
-One with any family member (except mother), where her insistance that she can do anything her sisters can gets her into a problem she can't solve without help from someone with sight
-And those are just the family ones... You want more?
Prompt: Prompt #1

Kamilah was curled up under a bush, hiding from her family, she was pretty sure at least one, if not both, of her parents knew she was there, but that was alright since she was mostly hiding from her siblings. Tanned chin rested lightly on tan-tipped paws, as her golden gaze blinked at the blurry forms outside her chosen hiding spot.

Her sisters were all out there, she could hear them better than she could see them, her eyes closed, dragging forward the images she built of her family from blurred memories. She wouldn't mind having gotten one clear look at them all before losing her sight. She let out a small huff, why'd life have to be so unfair. She'd never get a chance to really see her family, she'd never get to see more than a blur as a sunset, and she didn't know how long she had until she couldn't even see the blurry forms she did now.

Her tail twitched, and she shifted into a crouch, her thoughts continuing as her eyes opened, taking in once more the blurry forms of her family. She'd never wish this bit of her mother on her bright-eyed siblings, they deserved to see the world just as much as she did afte all. She gave a small smile, shifting her steps before launching herself out of the bush at one of her sisters. After all, she might as well enjoy what little sight she has while it lasts!

Oh can’t you see?
When will she go blind? She'll have poor eyesight from the beginning that will slip away as she gets older, until she's completely blind about mid-adolesant
How well does she cope with it? Most of the time she seems to go on as if it doesn’t bother her but every now and then she just turns on everything about how unfair it is that she has to live without what most take for granted.

Here have some fresh milk!
Which cub are you going for? Tan Gal.
Name: Tadinanefer
Meaning: Ancient Egyptian; she was given beauty.
Future Rank: Can’t really say as she’s a cub right now. And her future rank would depend mostly on whom she roleplays with and how her personality develops.
Personality: Bouncy and bubbly, this female with born with lots and lots of energy. She’s always putting her nose where it doesn’t belong as she’s a curious creature, but not at all timid. In fact, she’s not shy at all and would easily playfully pounce on a stranger if they were to walk by her. Being so sociable has left this one being quite the chatter. Talk, talk, talk. She could talk for days about this, that, everything and anything. But she’s not at all rude. She knows her manners even though sometimes she doesn’t really follow them. And while being curious, she’s very smart and intellect. She knows her stuff and wants to know more! In the long run, Tadi[nick name] would be a great friend to have because she would keep anyone busy and entertained.
Plots:
I’d like Tadi’s personality as a cub to be playful and innocent. She’s a cute ‘lil thing and doesn’t care what other’s think, which is a strong feature she has. I’d like a great relationship between her and her Father. Yep. She’ll be a daddy’s gal because I can picture Tadi just strutting up behind him and following him at tail length with a little pep kick in her step. ;p
Of course there will be a relationship between her and her Mother. There’s no doubt about that. Tadinanefer will be curious as to why her Mother and her siblings are blind and what makes them not see color—or anything for that matter.

Young Adolescent years are meant to spend time with the pride! She’ll start to venture out and roam about with other pride members as she spent most of her cub years within close—very close distance to her parents and siblings, but now it’s time to mingle! She’ll befriend a couple and possibly have some rivals. She’ll also, in a way have somewhat an interest in education. It’s needed, yes. But Tadi is still young and her mind is set on playing and having fun! When will this little gal just settle down? ;p

Adolescent years will result in Tadi getting her head into those ‘books’! She’s maturing into a fine young female and needs to settle down and grow up. I think it would be interesting if someone ‘picked on her’ for acting differently and like a fool as she’s still, in a way, her old cub self. She’ll be deciding on what to do with her future. This part in her years will be most difficult and will change her personality.

Adult years, she’s grown up now and has been through a lot in her life. It’s time to reflect, maybe settle down and start her own family. She’ll probably return to her Mother’s side or Father’s side again and stick with a sibling. Who knows? Time will only tell.

Prompt: The plan had been set in motion. Tadinanefer, the little mischief maker was going to go through with this with or without the help of her fellow siblings. Everything seemed to be going well and then BAM once again her Father detected what she was up to. At first Tadi wasn’t sure how her Father knew what she was going to do. Maybe it was a coincidence? Made sense, she would think to herself. None of her sibling snitched on her…or so she thought they hadn’t. But every time—every gosh darn time, there would be Desher right in front of her. How? She had finally confronted him a few days previous before attempting a prank that she didn’t seem to be all that serious. And finally—FINALLY she learned why her Father knew every prank, joke, and mischief she was doing.
He’s a Seer.
With a snort, she just thought about this for a few minutes. How come no one told her before now? With a grunt and kick to the sand she finally learned why she could never pull any practical jokes. But would this stop Tadi? Of course not! With a little peppy kick, she was off again to start some more trouble. Tadi grimaced as she looked to her Father. Let this be a challenge, she giggled and then ran off to find her siblings.

Here have some fresh milk!
Which cub are you going for? Twin girl
Name: Shetasana
Meaning: Roughly, "Secret brilliance"
Future Rank: Artisan

Personality: Shetasana is so friendly and talkative that it would be impossible to tell that this cub has anything to hide. She comes off as completely open and willing to discuss any and every subject, but when it comes to talking about herself, she is very modest and shy. She also tends to be quite reluctant to ask for help, because she is the type who would rather take care of herself than have others take care of her. Nevertheless, she is very kind and sympathetic to others, so she would not hesitate to offer a helping paw to someone in need, especially a family member. Shetasana adores her family utterly and completely, even if her independent spirit doesn't always let her show it.

Plots: I would love it if she becomes a skilled jewellery maker, despite her blindness. At first she will pursue jewellery-making as a way to hide, since... no one would expect a blind lioness to make jewellery for a living. She would rely on textures and her memory of the materials to tell what things would "look" like. I think it would be great if one of her sisters decided to join her in her "business" as well and maybe helped her out with the occasional colour selection, or something. xD

Prompt: Prompt 2

It just wasn't fair!

Shetasana couldn't do anything without her father intervening. Well... anything fun. He was always there just in time to stick is nose right in her business, and she was really beginning to hate it. As she sat by herself in her well-worn punishment spot, she flicked her tail angrily and listened to the others around her. Did her sisters get singled out like she did? She could do anything that they could do, so why did everyone insist on hovering around her all of the time?

She knew her father was a Seer, gifted with the ability to predict the outcomes of things. The way he did it was puzzling to her, but there was no doubt that it was the truth. It was funny how that worked out in the family... Some had no sight at all, while her father could see the unseen. It really, really didn't seem fair!

Of course, somewhere deep down the she realized that he was just trying to protect her. She knew that if anything happened to her, the entire family would be devastated, and her father more than anyone else. The thought of losing one of her sisters, or even her parents, left her feeling a little less bitter about her punishment. Okay, maybe there was a reason for her father's actions. Maybe there really had been something lurking in the muddy watering hole she had been so determined to take a dip in? Now she would never find out, but she couldn't help being a bit curious about it.

Oh well, things weren't fair... but maybe she could still have some fun. It could be a game, of sorts... Maybe dad would come to her rescue all of the time? Or maybe she could try outsmarting him... She had to hide a little smirk in case someone was looking at her. Suddenly, her father's abilities seem to be less an annoyance and more of a new opportunity to cause mischief. Entertained, the little cub spent the rest of her punishment planning out new games to play.

Oh can’t you see?
When will she go blind? Early adolescence
How well does she cope with it? At first she will be frightened, but she will try her best to hide it so her family doesn't worry about her. It will come on slowly, so she will have time to learn how to compensate. In fact, she will learn to compensate so well that she will quickly accept her fate without making it an issue. She will become so confident in her ability to survive without her eyes that she will continue to hide it from everyone except her closest friends and family so that no one will pity her.

Here have some fresh milk!
Which cub are you going for? Tan girl
Name: A'atabi
Meaning: I sort of meshed A'at (because) and abi (desire) its sort of an iffy meaning, but it has a nice sound to it.
Future Rank: Acolyte
Personality: A'atabi is a daddy's girl at heart, a bit vain and self-centered. She's a bit quiet, with bursts of flashyness and activity when she is inspired to do so, or when she thinks she can get her father's attention more easily. She wants him to be proud of her. She wants to be the apple of his eye.
Personality Traits: Self Centered, Energetic, Flashy, Obsessed with being the best in her father's eyes, and a bit Cold.
Plots: None as of yet, but willing to talk... if I get her of course.
Prompt: Prompt 3
Sometimes, A'atabi wished that there were fewer members of her litter. Not that she didn't love her sisters, but often she felt neglected. She wanted so very much to have her father pay attention to her, and her alone. But the older ones needed his guidance and the younger ones needed affection and she was stuck in the middle with no problems or superior talents to draw his gaze. She understood that they needed him more.
Didn't stop her from being sulky at times, though. Or wishing that she had been born first. Again, not that there was anything wrong with Hebony... A'atabi just felt she deserved it more. Didn't she? She worked hard enough. No miracles had happened yet to swap her birth order, but she could hope, couldn't she? If she applied herself and showed off enough, maybe something would happen.
Gods forbid if her sisters should be harmed though! She didn't want to hurt them, just shuffle them around a little, something far beyond any mortal's ability, certainly hers.
Besides.
Dad would be unhappy.

Here have some fresh milk!
Which cub are you going for? Twin girl
Name: Aiman'Dalia
Meaning: "beauty of the moon, fate and luck"
Future Rank: Priestess
Personality: Dalia will have a romantic soul, she only wants those she loves and cares for to find love and happiness. This will give her a sunny and up beat outlook on life. She will do whatever it takes to find or make a rainbow on a cloudy day. Though because of her aliment, she will be reluctant to find herself love, but be more than happy to help those around her find it.
Plots: I have a member of the pride, and she is a scribe. I could see her taking a great interest in this ailment that will take the cubs eyesight, and that its already taken her mothers. I could see a friendship forming between the pair as Althea takes notes and writes jounrals about how it happens and how it effects her life.
Prompt:You’ve been told you have a twin sister. She is unaffected by the disease at all. Tell of your relationship before and after you go blind.

Its never been kept a secret that Dalia at some time would lose her sight, it wasnt something she never challenged either she thought to herself one morning. Her sight had already slowly begun to fade and she could barely make out shapes anymore, but her love for life and her family didnt lessen. Her mind wandered to her sister, and not just any of her six sisters, but her twin sister, the one who was still able to see. She loved her sister and would never forsake her, her sight.

She and her sister were as close as she was with her other sisters, though they seemed to be a slightly stronger bond than normal. And lately, as her sight began to weaken and her ablity to see grew less and less, she could feel her sister start to grow guilty, all of the siblings seemed to have slivers of guilt they held, but her twin moreso than the others. And this hurt the young cub, who didnt hate her sister for her ablity to see, and wished she could feel how accepting of her fate she was. Dalia would go out of her way to show her sister that there was no need for her to feel any guilt, and she would drag her into games with her, into temples to listen to the priests, and show her that while her sight was leaving her, she didnt want to lose her sister because she felt guility for being able to see. That it was no ones fault, and the pair would continue to have a close relationship to each other.

Oh can’t you see?
When will she go blind? as a young Juvie.
How well does she cope with it? Dalia accepts her fate, though there will be a period she will be heart broken over the loss of her eye sight, I think a good long conversation with her mother will ease those pangs and she will adjust just fine, and even relish in the fact that others appearances cannot cloud her judgment anymore when she becomes a priests.

Here have some fresh milk!
Which cub are you going for? Tan girl
Name: Panya
Meaning: Mouse
Future Rank: Nannie
Personality: She's quiet, shy and has a severe lack of self-confidence. She'll stick to whatever family member will put up with her like glue, constantly using them as a shield-literally and figuratively-against strangers. As she gets older she'll become a little more independent, especially if she happens to be close to either of the blind siblings. But for a very long time she'll rely on them to give her the confidence she needs. However, she finds herself a bit more at ease around cubs and actually enjoys caring for them, which is why she'll eventually become a nannie.
Plots: I really like to RP out a character for a bit before making concrete plots, but just a basic plot idea would be getting her some more confidence. Be it through some dire situation where she has to step up and be the brace one or just finding a mate that really inspires her to be more comfortable with who she is.
Prompt: Prompt 3
Always surrounded by sisters, some older, some younger, but all a comfort in their own way. Not all of them were were as patient with her as the others, more than once she'd been snapped at for clinging just a little too close and tripping them up. But even so, she felt safe with their presence close by. Because at the end of the day she knew that, not matter how annoyed they might get, they would still protect her from the things she was too afraid to face on her own.

And for those times that she'd pushed a few too many buttons with this sister or that one, she always had mother to run to. Her kind words and soft fur wiped away whatever tears haunted the cub's face. And her strength to challenge anything head on in spite of her failed vision was a constant reminder that she could be better, stronger. Even if the feeling only lasted for a short while.

Then there was father. She felt the safest with him as he always seemed to know when she was in trouble. He was like her knight in shining armor, her hero. No matter how nervous or scared she was, whenever he showed up everything was instantly better. She could never hope to be even remotely as inspiring as him, but as long as he was around she didn't need to be.

As long as she had her family she didn't have to be strong or courageous or self-assured. Right...?
