[CLOSED] A.L.C.H.E.M.Y. Booth

Walking up to the A.L.C.H.E.M.Y. booth, Kemnebi looked at all the different ingredients. Everything looked really interesting...if a little odd.

"One hundred silver seeds?" That was pricey but...the game looked like so much fun! Reaching into her pocket, she saw she had just enough silver seeds to play the game and dropped them into the box at the end.

Tilting her head slightly, the cat-ghoul reached out and picked her ingredients. First she grabbed a few of the brown seeds. After much debate, she also grabbed the granules that look like minipet teeth.

As Anthe walked around the vast carnival she noticed a booth with an interesting bubbly pot. As she walked up she noticed a horseman manning the booth. She decided to try the alchemical mashup game and handed the attendant 100 silver.

Anthe picked up her ingredients first. Some hot peppers would do nicely. she picked up the little items and dropped them in. Next she added some very plain sand for a base. The peppers will give it flavor with the sand giving it some heart.

Kemnebi took her ingredients and but them in the bowl over the hot sand She had put her hand near the coals, not dumb enough to actually touch the coals. She could tell they wee super hot quite easily, thanks.

As she waited, Nebi decided that they simply weren't heating quickly enough. Scooping up the ingrdients, Nebi juggled the hot concoction and dropped them into a frying pan instead.

Slowly, her concoction turned into something that resembled curds. In fact, it kind of looked delicious. Still, she had recently learned her lesson about eating random things, so she didn't even try and touch it.

Anthe then threw her ingredients into the pot adding some blood like liquid for an extra kick. For a while she watches it gurgle and foam, turning different colors as each ingredient mixes.

She then notices a little bowl that looks like almost a fryer pan. She decides to use this to nicely finish the concoction. Anthe throws her mixture in there watching it sizzle and pop. Suddenly there is a billowy cloud of smoke and Anthe is blinded. When the smoke clears her mixture looks like Vaisel vomit. BLERGH. Well she definitely ruined that....

The horseman has turned her back to Anthe to cough out the foul smelling smoke. Quickly, before she can see the disgusting mixture Anthe scoops up the bowl and dumps it into a plant pot on the counter next to the fryer pan. When the horseman turns back around Anthe has put the bowl back down into the bed of sand and is smiling. She thanks the horseman for letting her play and turns to walk away. While walking away she looks back at the plant she had just doused with her mixture. It has slowly begun to grow extra stems with multiple flowers on each. Huh.

There's just a small mountain of them sitting on the edge of the counter; perhaps, the alchemist is using them to store the potions. ICLY, Eisheth grins at your efforts and suggests you try more at home, so you decide to grab the flask.

What I'm going to do with this?

Oh yeah, this looked fun. Mix stuff together! Explosions! Nasty goop! Yeaah! Plunking the money in the donation box, Kwasi rubbed his hands together in anticipation and nudged himself a spot at the booth.

He grabbed some ... fluff? Yeah sure whatever, it wasn't really explosive looking but who knows what kind of results you could get with this stuff. The second choice had his stomach rumbling a little. It was blood, wasn't it? Maybe a little taste .................

Mmm, add a bit more yummy blood-looking stuff, and sure why not, fry everything over a burner. The longer this was going on, the more it felt to Kwasi like some sort of cooking class, rather than a science lab. He really had to find a snack booth soon, or he'd be back here swiping ingredients.

Oh! Okay then. I thought it was one or the other smile then could I have the wish treat in your box?

A big magenta colored bow bobbed through the crowed in front of Eisheth's booth until the short ghoul finally broke through all the people. Her purple shades glinting mischievously to match the grin on her face as she slid up to the booth, closest to her ghoulfriend than everyone else. "So doing experiments on your patrons are you? Hopefully you aren't making them drink this stuff, Eishe. They might get tummy aches."

Even still, what the Horsewoman had set up was pretty interesting. Mei had never really fiddled with potion making. That was generally up to Witches and the like. Alchemists like Eisheth as well. But perhaps today she would give it a go, just to test it out.

Moving towards the front of the booth now, she picked up a strange smelling white dust. It reminded her a lot of a smell that lingered in the old crypts. There was something in it....odd. Next she picked up a little red vegetable. Holding it up to her nose she gave it a little sniff. Her eyes began to water and her nose ran for a minute before she sniffed harshly. "Hmmm...spicy."

Taking her ingredients, she looked back and forth between a few things before deciding to toss them into a little pan. They sizzled and popped before she gave the pan a little shake and flip, mixing the ingredients and letting them fry for just a little bit.

After she was done with that she tossed the fried ingredients into a bowl sitting upon what she assumed was some heated pebbles. From the warmth they put off it was...fairly easy to assume that.

A few seconds later and an acrid smell drifted up from the bowl. The ghoul plugged her nose with her thumb and pointer finger instantly. It was most certainly not a pleasant smell and when she peeked into the bowl what was in it looked like. "Poop. Eishe, you've rigged these things to be stinky haven't you?"

Lifting up the bowl, she nonchalantly dumped it's contents into one of the nearby plants. Unexpectadly, the plant sputtered and quivered. It's entire planty body convulsing. Was that coughing? Mei watched intently until all of a sudden it stopped moving. To which she poked the plant with a thin finger while biting her bottom lip.

"What exactly are you having us mix here that would cause such a reaction?" The ghoul turned wide eyes towards the Alchemist. Her ghoulfriend sure like potions apparently. Perhaps kinds that were just a little bit deadly if consumed by anything other than this plant. Which blew her comment about tummy aches out of the water. Anyone who consumed these might not HAVE a tummy to ache.

ALCHEMY! Sal loved Alchemy. He just so happened to find some coins lying around to donate, just for a chance to play with the materials too. Sure he was already Famine and spent the majority of his life as an Alchemist, but one never quite got over the thrill of experimenting.

Even if it was playing with basic alchemy.

After the invisible wings and teeth were tossed in, Sal continued on making science! All the while forgetting that almost all of his robes were soaked, sticking to him, and sprinkled in sugar.

"Well, that was fun!" The Sage cheered, dusting his hands off and certainly not touching what he'd created. He'd already given himself a bloody cough due to Alchemy gone awry, never again!

"My dear Eisheth, this is fantastic and I applaud your work ethic, thank you for the amusing time." Sal said graciously, picking up an empty vial as well.
