Hitsugaya Toushirou

Hitsugaya is by far my favorite character.... So i'm so glad to be able to write his bio....

He is the captain of 10th squad and he is called the boy genious. He is the youngest captain in the history of soul society so it's only natural for him to be called that.

In the conspiracy about Aizen and Gin, Hitsugaya was seen as another suspect. He has always believed that Gin was behind the murder of Captain Aizen but he never had any proof.

His first "Fight" was when he stopped Hinamori and Kira from fighting with each other. He blocked both their attacks and ended the fight immediately. His first TRUE fight was when he faced off one on one with Gin, and he first released his Shikai.

When Aizen revealed his true intentions, Hitsugaya was furious because Hinamori was supposedly dead. This forced him to use his most powerful attack.... Also known as Bankai.

His Zan-Paku-Tou is called Hyorinmaru (Ice Ring) and it is classed as the strongest ever ice type zan-paku-tou.

Shikai: Souten Ni Zase (Descend upon the frozen sky), Hyorinmaru - His blade and his reiatsu form a giant ice dragon that flies from the tip of his sword, straight into the enemy. It deals ridiculous amounts of damage whilst freezing the opponent.
Bankai: Daiguren Hyorinmaru (Ice ring of the great frozen hell) - Hitsugaya's arm gets coated in ice and he grows ice wings. The entire area is covered in ice and there are large ice flowers in the sky. His Bankai gives him incredible power from his arm and also high speed from his wings. It is said that when all the petals from the ice flowers disappear he will lose his bankai forever.

Honshou Chizuru

An all out lesbian, Chizuru makes fruitul attempts on Orihime and ends up being beat up by Tatsuki. Adding the touch of humor that makes Bleach popular, she is a minor character.

I'm so glad I'm not Orihime sometimes as I'm exactly like Orihime in chest size, and could see Chizuru attacking myself.

Ichimaru Gin

The sly-faced, perpetually smiling Ichimaru seems to be almost totally amoral, willing to injure even his own comrades if it helps him get what he wants.

Ichimaru's personality is inscrutable. It is impossible to tell if his ever-present grin is merely a facade to hide his true thoughts, or if he really does take devilish glee in the various tragedies he sets in motion.

As with most captains, Ichimaru's past is shrouded in mystery. However, he seems to have a rather strong relationship with vice-captain Matsumoto, who is probably his only true friend.

Ichimaru's zanpaku-to is Shinsou, which he uses with impressive skill, if rather indiscriminately.

Shikai: Chisame (Blood Rain), Shinsou isn't so much a form as it is a motion. Captain Ichimaru uses the phrase "ikorose" (shoot to kill) to, essentially, shoot Shinsou. The blade extends at a bullet's speed to whatever length Captain Ichimaru decides. The attack is not just a piercing one, however. Since Captain Ichimaru still has the hilt in his hands the slightest twitch of his wrist can translate into lightning-quick slicing swings by the tip of the blade.

Idolad

Another Arrancar brought down by Grimmjaw,he was the first Arrancar who realased his sword. Although he was later killed by Madarame Ikkaku when he used his Ban Kai,suprisingly Idolad was killed before the Level Limit Release.

Ikkanzaka Jiroubo

Member of the 7th Division, 4th Seat. Meaning he's the 4th strongest member of that Division.

Zan-Bak-To is Tsunzaki Garasu (Splitting Crow)

Shikai: Taking a page from Senbon Zakura's book, Tsunzaki Garasu dismantles itself into a cloud of whirling rotor-blades (think shuriken, just with two points instead of 4 or 5) at the phrase "habataki-nasai" (spread your wings). About a hand-span long, Jiroubo mentally controls all the blades, sending them winging at whoever he wishes at high speeds.
Bankai: None

Ishida Uryuu

He is the last surviving quincy, and has a deep seeded hatred for all Shinigami because his sensei died fighting hollows when the Shinigami were late to show up. He challenges Ichigo by putting out hollow bait and thus attracting alot of hollows, so much that they couldnt not handle them all. Ishida and Ichigo then team up to beat the hollows and save the city.

Kira Izuru

A thin and somewhat neurotic individual, Kira is good friends with fellow vice-captains Hinamori and Abarai. He seems a decent enough sort, but is also extremely loyal to his captain, Ichimaru Gin. This sometimes puts him in difficult positions, where he is forced to choose between loyalty to his captain and loyalty to his friends.

His Zan-Paku-To is Wabisuke (Apology)

Shikai: Wabisuke's Shikai form is not an ostentatious one, but it is certainly unusual. With the short phrase "omote wo agero" (show your face), Izuru changes Wabisuke into what looks much like a large, squared off cane. Where a normal katana would end, Wabisuke's blade makes two 90 degree angles, forming three sides of a square. Even more interestingly, it looks like the cutting edge of the blade is on the inside of the angles, not the outside. Just from that, it's hard to guess what makes Wabisuke special, or why it ever earned the name "Apology". Its power is truly devious, however. Any thing or person Wabisuke hits doubles in weight. So if you block his strike with your own blade, yours just got 2x heavier. Continue this across the fight, and your blade will end up weighing several hundred pounds. If he cuts you, *you yourself* double in weight. By the end, Izuru's opponents generally end up plastered to the ground, looking up at him as if in apology. Hence, the name.
Bankai: Vice Cpatians are unable to have a Bankai, but there's no saying that he won't.

Kojima Mizuiro

He is a fifteen year old boy who is girlcrazy. He claims he only likes older women, but when in fact he will take whatever he can get. He goes to school with Ichigo and seems to come from a very rich family. Ichigo warns Rukia that she should watch out for Mizuiro hitting on her.

Komamura Saijin

The huge Captain of the Seventh Division. Komamura is a mysterious individual, hiding his features from view with a large helmet (And to be honest he's a cutie when he's not covering his face). He has a great sense of honour, being particularly devoted to Yamamoto Genryuusai. He is close friends with Tousen Kanamae of the Ninth Division. They share similar life philosophies, though Komamura is seemingly less gentle or hesitant in his approach than Tousen.

When it comes time to fight, Komamura wields the niftily named Tengen, a blade with size to match his own.

Shikai:Captain Komamura cheats a bit when he first uses Tengen's Shikai. He doesn't use any incantation, so for the longest time it seemed like he'd used a plain ability. Anyway, Tengen is in a class with Suzumushi and Shinsou; it's Shikai is more a motion than a form. Actually, it's sort of a combination of both. At Captain Komamura's will, a enormous version of his own hand and Tengen sweep down on opponents from whatever direction he chooses.
Bankai: KOKUJOU TENGEN MYOU-OH (Black Rope Heaven's Rebuke - King of Light)
Kokujou Tengen Myou-oh gives Shikai Tengen a body to go along with the hand, and gets a whole lot bigger to boot. An unbelievably huge warrior dressed in ancient armor and a horned helmet, Kokujou Tengen looks to mimic Captain Komamura's movements. That's just a guess however, we don't get to see what it really does.

Kon

Kon is a modified soul that was created by soul society to fight hollows. In creating him, they gave him more strength than they would normally, so when he is free he can do amazing things. By mistake on the Uraha shop, he is inserted into Ichigo's body while Ichigo takes his Shinigami form. During this period he explores the human world, by impressing people and showing off his ability. Once it is realize what has happend, he is tracked down and removed from Ichigo's body and paced in the body of a teddy bear. After this he began to idolize Rukia and he sometimes fills in for Ichigo when Ichigo must leave his body to fulfill his Shinigami duties.

Kotetsu Isane

As kind-hearted and mild as one would expect from the Fourth Division, but seemingly having a slightly more combative nature. She is extremely loyal to her captain, whom she idolizes, and has a sister (Kiyone) who is ranked as third seat of the Thirteenth Division. Not much else is known about her.

Zan-Paku-To is Itegumo (Frost Cloud)

Shikai: Up to this point, we've only gotten a short glimpse at Itegumo's Shikai form. Isane shouts the word "Hashire" (Run!), and Itegumo's blade splits into three, one vertical and two coming out of the hilt at 45-degree angles. What Itegumo can do is as of yet unknown.
Bankai: None yet

Kuchiki Byakuya

Captain of the Sixth Division. Byakuya is head of the noble Kuchiki family, and as such is sophisticated in his philosophy and manner of speech. He is perpetually cool and collected--many might say cold and emotionless--having never been seen to either smile or lose his temper.

Despite his youthful appearance, Byakuya is actually a widower. His wife died some years ago, seemingly of one or another illness. It is not known whether Byakuya's reserved personality developed or increased after his wife's death, but it seems a logical assumption.

He is Kuchiki Rukia's adoptive brother, but does not appear to possess or display much filial affection. Rukia even goes so far as to say at one point that Byakuya never once cared for her in the slightest. This may be a somewhat unfair portrayal, however, as Byakuya seems to be the type who keeps his cards close to his chest, so to speak.

His weapon is the deadly Senbon Zakura, which he wields with suitable elegance to dispatch his foes.

Spoiler: (Highlight to see) Byakuya's departed wife was actually Rukia's sister, though Rukia was not aware of this. Her dying wish was that Rukia be cared for, and Rukia was hence immediately adopted by the Kuchiki family, with Byakuya swearing on his wife's gave to protect his new sister. However, Byakuya had already "broken the rules" before by marrying a woman of lower class, and after defying tradition again (through Rukia's adoption), he swore an oath to keep the laws of Soul Society without exception. This put him in an awkard position when Rukia was sentenced to death, as he was torn between his oath to uphold the rules, and his oath to protect his sister.

Shikai: It's shikai form in which Senbon Zakura really shines. Er, well, glitters anyway. Speaking the short word "chire" (scatter), Captain Kuchiki makes Senbon Zakura's blade disappear. It isn't gone completely, it has just disintegrated into millions of tiny, razor-thin metal petals you can only see when they catch the light and wink, like the quick flutter of falling cherry petals. Captain Kuchiki mentally controls this razor cloud, and can slice somebody to ribbons without them even seeing what hit them.
Bankai: SENBON ZAKURA KAGEYOSHI (Thousand Cherry Trees, Solemn Shadow)
Senbon Zakura Kageyoshi is a souped up version of shikai Senbon Zakura. A stately double row of dozens of swords lines up out of nowhere around Captain Kuchiki and then dissolve into the wind, making that much bigger of a razor-petal cloud for him to use. Captain Kuchiki can also cause the petals to reform into ghost-white blades and sling them around mentally.

Kuchiki Rukia
She is the first real Shinigami that Ichigo ever encountered, and to save both Ichigo and herself she transfered her Shinigami powers to him. She currently is still working for soul society, but as Ichigo's Shinigami teacher. She hides herself in her human form from Hollows until her strength returns - all the while coaching Ichigo and helping him with his Soul Society missions. She aslo puts up a wonderful facade around her class mates, and is still trying to adapt and understand many things about the human world.

Any information On Rukia's Zan-Paku-To has never been seen.

Kurosaki Ichigo

The main character of the manga. He goes one day from being a normal every day kid who can see ghosts, to attacked by a hollow. During this battle, when he is about to parish, a new shinsingami he has just recently met descideds to transfer half of her energy into him. Unfortunately, due to his spiritual awareness already, the moment her sword touches his soul, he takes virtually all of her power, transforming him into a shinigami. After this, he is given the role of a shinigami to protect those who are being attacked by hollows, which usually means protecting/fighting against people he already knows. Over a short period of time, Ichigo has shown that he has been able to do many things that no human should be able to do, such as fight at the level he does, as well as be able to see spiritual aura in a physical form (which allows him to locate people by sensing there aura, even if it is very weak). He is slowly begining to learn how to use and regulate his spiritual power.

Ichigo's Zan-Paku-To is Zangetsu (Cutting Moon)

Shikai: Shikai Zangetsu looks more like an elegant cleaver than a formal "katana". He has no crossguard and no proper hilt; what Ichigo holds is the cloth-wrapped tang. Zangetsu is still as long as Ichigo is tall, but the blade is a hand-width only at it's base. From there it tapers in one long arc into a sharp, pointed tip. The cloth wrapping on the tang seems to react to Ichigo's will, changing length at a thought or twining about the blade in an impromptu sheath. Instead of the heavy belt for Zangetsu's sheath, a red chain of interconnecting triangles (one that looks a lot like a spinal column if you look right) runs from Ichigo's right shoulder to left hip. There's no connection or anything, he just puts Zangetsu across his back and the blade sticks. Shikai Zangetsu's power is simple but deadly. He can translate Ichigo's spiritual pressure into tangible energy. The resulting crescent moon of light is called "Getsuga Tenshou" (Moonfang Skyshock) and it can slice cleanly through anything; rock, buildings, people. However, Ichigo is still working on mastering this particular power. Strangely, Zangetsu is constantly in his Shikai form. Ichigo has yet to figure out how to get him to transform into a "normal form".
Bankai: TENSA ZANGETSU (Heaven's Chain Cutting Moon)
The one exception to the "bankai is big" rule, Tensa Zangetsu is comparatively very small. In fact, this is the only form in which Zangetsu looks anything like a normal sword. He is still as long as he always was, but he now has a formal hilt, crossguard and blade. Instead of the cloth his Shikai form had, a short length of chain dangles from the base of the hilt. He finally gets a crossguard, though it isn't normal. Four prongs bend out to form the kanji for "ban", with the base of the blade at it's center. And every last square inch of him is dead black. Even his Getsuga Tenshou are dark as pitch.As for Tensa Zangetsu's ability, he takes everything that most bankai put into being big and translates it into speed boosts for Ichigo. The boosts are big enough that Ichigo can launch Getsuga Tenshou from two totally opposite sides of a target *almost simultaneously*.Like Renji, Ichigo himself also changes appearance, albeit very slightly. The top half of his shinigami blacks becomes a sort of suit topcoat instead of a kimono, pinned together at one spot, then left to flare out into ragged ends.

NOTE: Zangetsu is one of two zanpaku-to Avatars that we get to meet. He looks like any other human, really, though it's sometimes hard to see his body for the long, ragged black cloak he wears. What we do see resembles a suit of some kind, with a white-trimmed, deep v-collar and white cuffs at his sleeves. He has shaggy, black, shoulder length hair and always wears a clear pair of slim sunglasses. He seems like a soft -spoken but intense person, and usually has some wise advice for Ichigo.
