	"Death doesn't stop until everything is over." One way or another. Death preferred to win, preferred to be the destroyer, But even if defeated, in one fashion or another, Death won. The bow was a simple, stinging blow, more to his pride than anything else. He despised that he was not showing the true power of his rank or clan. It simply meant that at this point he could not back down. Even though he could not find the energy to lash out at her he had to stay on his feet. Standing his ground. Not broken. Not bending to her will. Resisting with his own power. HP: 7 Damage: ha. Haha.

	She had to give him credit. He wouldn't bow to her. Not under his own will anyway. He might take an order for the sake of the clans, but not for the sake of following orders. That was what she saw in any case. Lan's scowl deepened as he failed to strike out at her. This was not a spar, or a battle, this was just- "Conquest paves the way for Death. Isn't that how it has been in the past? We lead, you simple reap the rewards and see that it all comes to a glorious end." HP: 30 Damage:

	Her words stung, but it was not the first time the clans had argued their views. Their raison d'être. "Death strips away Conquest's bounty. Crushes it." The words of the clans if she was determined to use them. Theology, not something he wanted to argue. But she was leaving herself open if she wanted to argue rather than to keep practicing against him. Baiting him. He moved forward, unsummoning his weapon, the Fear dissipating. A faint. Then his gauntleted hand was diving into her side, armored tips first. He would stain the fabrics with her blood. A reminder from Death. A reminder that he was not something to be completely ignored, he could still serve a purpose. HP: 7 Damage: 10 (Idek)

	The words of the clans. While Soren might not like to debate then, it was what she grew up doing. Trained to do day in and day out. Words were just as much a weapon as her bow of his blade. As he got back into range, she moved from the blade, thinking she'd be lucky to dodge. The weapon vanished she realized the move too late. Sharp stabbing pain into her side. Warmth, she knew it. He'd cut her, no doubt tearing into her robes as well. She let out a strangled cry for the pain bow vanishing from her hands before palm went to his face. "The shame of your ancestors- augh." So much for salvaging the silks. HP: 20 Damage: 3

	A slap to the face. Dishonoring him with her mouth. She was a fiesty little mare. He curled his fingers into her side, widening the wound, face still stinging from the blow. She might have the upper hand, but he would leave his mark on her. "Clothing can be replaced." She would be distracted in battle if this little upset her so much. HP: 4 Damage: 5

	The wound burned as the gauntlet and finger dug in, and Lan clenched her teeth, trying to bite back the cry of rage and pain. He was touching her, breaking a distinct boundary. Nobles were not meant to be touched. They were not supposed to allow it. "Unhand me Soren." His name came out a hiss. He'd crossed a line with her. Her bow was brought back, and she aimed to strike him with it. "This. Instant." HP: 15 Damage: 2

	She was tight around his fingers but he pulled them out, knowing the mood was not right. This was a fight, but he would pull away from the lines and boundaries that still remained because of their relationship as it were. "Death needs to finish things," was his quiet explanation as he summoned the blade again, slashing at her. HP: 2 Damage: 6

	He touched her, not just her skin but inside of her. He'd violated her. A blade was one thing, a hand was another. His sword was hardly noticed in her rage at the pain in her side. "Tenfold Soren. Remember that." She drew her bow back, launching an arrow at him. Now or later, she'd get revenge for what he'd done to her and her robes. HP: 9 Damage: 3

	The arrow cut into his ribs, and with that he felt his Fear shield break. Torn apart, the hole from the arrow would probably require a bit of time to heal. He unsummoned his khopesh and stepping back, their training done. "Understood." HP: -1

	Gold eyes looked at him, then at his wounds before looking to her own. Scowl lightening from it's intensity, she was still upset. "I will take a great many things Soren and attribute them to simple clan and culture ignorance. On both parties, even I can admit that, but touching me in a spar? It is not one of them." A deep breath she winced to the wound at her side. "I made a mistake this time. As did you. One neither of us shall be making again."
