This sounds good. I would suggest that Penvyma still carry a Lantern. When he goes through the ceremony he could be granted one of the same color as his glow or even something contrasting like Orange (Whatever you would like for a color for Rp purposes).

He's welcome to live in his Pumpkin Patch but keep in mind the frequent visits that would be required for assignments, or herd activities.

And of course his familiar is welcome to join~
