Meaning: Little spear in Irish
Thoughts: He doesn’t see what his mother does in dark coat colors. Frankly it rubs his fur the wrong way. Every time she favors someone other than him, Raid (as he likes to be called), wants to lash out at her or them. More often than not he will give in to his impulses. This cub is conniving, mean, and holds grudges. He takes to lessons of evil like a fish takes to water. Raid is eager to please by doing ill for another.

While he can’t understand his mother’s obsession with dark colors, he looks down on his foster father. He views the male as weak and pathetic. With his mother’s ban on harm to Dysi, Raid snubs the male any other way he can. Clearly, to him, its this guy who needs to learn to get stronger.

Raid has a hate issue. He hates being last for his mother’s affections. He hates being told he can’t do something. He hates boundaries particularly. Anything of the above makes him want to lash out and he will; be it either physically or verbally.

Reaction: His mother was blindsided by his siblings. Raid knew he had completed the evil task she’d set them better than all the others. Why couldn’t she see this? He had left scathing remarks concerning his sibling’s pitiful performances and left with his tail in a knot. The cub had settled himself on a rotten-ed out stump and watched the line of ants below. His lips furled back in a snarl. He wanted to do something that would outshine his siblings and put them into the dust as they deserved.

A paw stretched slowly down toward the line of insects trundling below. If only there was a way he could squash them like he was going to do to these ants. Raid selected his first victim and set his paw over the hapless ant. His mind roiled with ideas. Evil deeds he could perform. True he was small now, but he wasn’t going to let that stop him.

Almost as if on cue his foster father came into view. Obviously the wimpy male was looking for Raid because as soon as he saw the cub on his stump he headed over. What he didn’t want or need was a lecture from this idiotic male on how rude he’d been to his siblings. They deserved it! Before the leopard could speak, he rose to his feet with his nose in the air.

“Don’t get near me,” he snarled nastily. “You’re wooties might rub off onto me.” With that Raid jumped down and strutted off. He took extra care not to touch the older male.

Extra: Depending on how evil his twin is, I can see Raid either being ok doing evil with him or utterly despising him. Up until they find out the twin is fertile. Don’t know how their mother will react, but I would love for Raid to be furious. So much so that he cubnaps a cub or two and runs off with them. Splintering from his family at this point and never returning.
