This is the stallion I will eventually someday be customing if anyone is curious. I liked the idea so much that I decided to go ahead and quest for it. Haha. Quote: ALDEREdit Category: Moderate Soquili Species: Cerynei/Angeni crossbreed Body Build: Draft w/ long fetlocks and roman nose. Gender: Male Starting Stage: Adult Concept Origin: I had intended to quest for a draft built Cerynei named Alder a while ago but didn't have much direction for him until JetAlmeara introduced the idea of the Northern Cerynei in the Soquili thread. The idea of moose horns and Northern Cerynei is hers. WIP Needed? Yes if colorist has time.
~*~ Colors & Markings ~*~ Body: Dark brown, fading into darker brown near his muzzle and fetlocks. Steely blue eyes. Blue hooves (see blue color refs below) Face: Roman nose Mane: Same dark brown color as his body. Thick and poofy, long and flowy. Maybe a feather or two in it somewhere. Tail: Normal braided tail. Hooves/Fetlocks: Draft fuzzy fetlocks, darker in color than the rest of his body.
~*~ Physical Traits ~*~ Horn(s): Big, moose like antlers. Dark brown at the base fading into light/steely blue. Like this except blue. Blue color refs. Blue Color (I guess it's not really blue. But ya. Haha.) Wings: Wintery/steely blue accents, brown/darkbrown mix. Blue color refs. Fins: n/a Scales: n/a Pelt: n/a Other Notes:
~*~ Accessories & Edits ~*~ Trading Post Items: Custom Items: Snowy shin guards that look like tree bark on his legs. Reference Image(s) for Items: Snowy Tree Bark
~*~ Tag Specifics ~*~ Name of horse: Alder Owner: Baby Pandah Breed: Northern Cerynei Temper: Deciding on one still. Mate: n/a Tag Background: Something snowy or nature oriented. :3 Tag frame color: black, dark grey, whatever looks best. Tag feather color(s): Chocolate/foresty brown and blue.
~*~ Existing Pets ~*~ If you didn't design this yourself (and it's not a commercial cosplay), did you get written permission to use the design?: n/a

If we were going to make them a northern herd we could try and incorporate some Inuit or other northern culture into them maybe ?

You can totally count me in on this...draft=LOVE. Though may take some time before I can try for one in customs, but yes, very much yes!
And no this is not my attempt to expand my Jet stalking to a new level, nope not one bit. *shifty eyes*

"They traditionally believe in a god-like power that is contained in all of nature. The Shaman is an important figure in this religion. This person is a doctor, healer and a giver of advice when people have problems. The Shaman is also capable of seeing spirits.
The Inuit traditionally believe that people's spirits live on after their death. After a death in the family, newborns will receive the name of the dead person and be treated as if the spirit of that person would reside in the baby. Baby's, however, will not be named until they are 8 days old. If they die before this it is believed they never truly lived."
Interesting tidbits that I found online.
