((As I'm not sure who is still around and who still wants to be in the mountain tribe, etc, please re-sign up your valks to be apart of the tribe! There was only one sarge slot awarded before hand, and I know who that is, so please do sign your valks up and RP them within the tribe, etc, etc. Mating information has been updated with the ceremony to mate to a male! ))

DEAR AEGLEName: Vio Lette Post: Main Force Sargent Vio Lette is not the Valk she once was, but she's as tough ever... maybe even more so because of things she's been through. Training is all that is part of her life right now, and she wants to whip her sisters back into shape. She has shunned River Bank [prize for winning her place as Sarge]. She has a son, Chyler, but she made him leave after training him because he was bitter reminder of something she came to despise. [She's first in this Journal Post if you wanted to see. Blah blah blah l3] Name: Daliah Previous Post: Men Trainer A cruel being, Daliah gets her thrills from terrifying males and controlling them. She has a dominating personality and issues with authority. Her bad temper is bound to get her on others bad sides for sure. She is a deadly beauty for sure. Name: Ferrialle Previous post: Scout Group Two She has a cat-like manner in a way; loves to play when no one is looking, toys with her food and playthings, and tends to find others useful only when she wants something from them. She has a quick wit and temper and is not shy about speaking or doing and is infamous for doing without thinking first. Though she has her quirks she never doubts or goes against the word of her goddess, queen, or those over her. Name: Eolawe Eolawe is a strong fighter and very determined.... That's as far as I got with her l'D

DEAR AEGLEName: Berelai Post: Main force Personality: Somewhat shy and soft spoken, but is very aggressive in battle. Strengths: Has a good head for tactics, and often devises new battle plans for run. Unquestioning, always battle ready. Name: Elthynias Previous post: Blacksmith ((You had said you would create a smithing rank here)) Personality: Quiet and kept to herself, she's content to hammer out weapons, armor and shields all day. Strengths: Strong, excellent craftswoman, doesn't talk back (( |D )) Name: Haldis Previous Post: Main Force Personality: Blood-thirsty and fierce in battle, she will do whatever it takes to win. She will fight until she's pulled from the fray, broken and bleeding. Hardly talks unless it's required. Strengths: Headstrong, unrelenting Name: Indrasena Post: Man Keeper/Trainer Personality: She's firm and won't take no for an answer, but she refuses to cross the line and remains composed when other's would've lashed out. Strengths: Calm, composed, steadfast. Name: Vernadette Previous Post: Priestess Personality: Vernie is a grump. She's always in the temple library, pouring over texts, sorting and re-recording them so that they're in their proper place. She also goes around and records the new religious experiences of the tribe for posterity. Strengths: Dedicated, religious Name: Zeldana Post: Possibly helps out at the apothecary? Personality: A bit...creepy. Zel likes experimenting with new ingredients for old recipes, and occasionally burns off a patch of hair in the process. She loves what she does a little too much, and that scares some people. No one ever eats at her house. Strengths: Extensive knowledge of poisons, and ingredients. Name: Lumihnahsitie Post: Messenger Personality: Irritatingly bubbly and happy. ((Think Pinkie Pie on speed)) Lum irks just about everybody, which she doesn't seem to notice. She enjoys the interaction with the tribe, and dropping messages off for everyone. Strengths: Quick, prompt, excellent memory. ((Haldis has a female mate. Indra, Lum and Zel have male mates.

All valks who were posted before have their previous postings! ((Thank you for linking and all that guys! ))
Aegle has sorted Eolawe into the main force, first squad (for now).
Black smithing has been added, as well as healers/apothecary! They shall work hand in hand together, two sides of the same coin.
Lumihnahsitie has been sorted to the scouts, though her main use will be sending messages through the battle lines should a battle ever happen.

DEAR AEGLEName: Liv Personality: A cooperative, quiet kind of girl, Liv is known by her peers as the true believer of 'Defense is the best offense', as she's seen using her shield more while fighting. That's more of a preference, rather than lack of experience with the sword and more than willing to prove it. Name: Iduna Previous post: Scout leader, group onePersonality: Traditional and firm, but also more emotional than before. Iduna is always there to help the tribe, be it training or carrying heavy items, etc. She'd never admit it but, in a way, it is to make up for something...

DEAR AEGLEName: Veronica Post: Priestess Personality: She's soft spoken, usually keeping closer to her duties of her prayers. For her the voice of her goddess comes before her own concerns and she'll often take long fasts as she prepares for her prayers at the temple as a way to cleanse herself and show her worth. (this is as far as I've gotten for her but will update as I flesh her out.)

Aegle has placed Liv among the template guardians, so she may best use her shield to defend the holiest of places. Iduna is of course, already group one's scout leader, and continues as such. Veronica has been added to the ranks of the priestesses, and those ranks grow steadily each day. Soon enough some leaders will be chosen from the fold.

DEAR AEGLEName: Alii Post: Children Guardian Personality: Alii is very sweet and caring about the children, and isn't afraid to defend them with her life. She loves to teach valk children about their Goddess and the rules they must follow. She's rather strict when needed, but most often a loving, generous mother-figure to children. To everyone else she is a marsh task-mistress. Strengths: Faithful to her Goddess, loving, level-headed (She does have a male mate that I hope to do the mating ceremony for here soon. Also, she hasn't really had much interaction with her fellow valks. 3nodding )

DEAR AEGLEName: Valkira Post: (She would like to be a Priestess or Healer) Personality: She's sweet yet fiery, kind yet protective. She loves to help those she can, but doesn't beat herself up if she can't help. Valkira feels a strong pull to the 'greater good' and to do what she can for her Goddess. (I'm still figuring out her personality, but I would like for her to join the Mountain Valks.)

Aegle has placed Alii among the Children Guardians... and doesn't envy her job at all. Nope. Aegle has placed her among the blacksmiths, hoping that all the blacksmiths get along... hopefully. Sadly, Aegle doesn't know where to sort her because she can't see her! ((Sorry this took so long! D: ))

Finally one had come forward. One among her following of valkyrie had decided to heed the words recently spoken by their Goddess, and mate to a male. The ceremony would be brief, Aegle was sure of it, but it would be done all the same. The female who volunteered was indeed a priestess among the fold, and thus ten of her peers had been chosen to partake in this. The entire tribe was gathered, a clearing made in the center, with the two faes in question encircled by her peers. "You two come forward together to prove your worthiness to bind yourself to each other. You know the rules, what the Goddess Synthia say spoken, and what must be done. Prepare yourselves!" And thus the other priestess came rushing forward to fight, to make sure that this male was worthy of their sister and that their sister was still strong enough to be one of their clan. Sybil knew what the Goddess Synthia had said, and she had quickly found herself a male that she found worthy. He was a little odd, perhaps not the warrior that others would deem worthy, but for her he was what she needed. Or rather what she thought her goddess required of her. As such, she prepared herself for battle, as all Valks were prepared for battle. Her fellow priestesses rushed forward and Sybil found herself back to back with Zenskar. Together they would pass, or together they would fail. She blocked the blows she could, and took the ones she couldn't, knowing it was just a matter of time until it was all over.

Zenskar took a breath. He had certainly never pictured himself taking blows from warrior women to win the right to take a mate - but for Sybil? Yes, he would accept this. He stood back to back with her, taking a deep breath and preparing to take the blows as they came.

Needless to say, the priestess and her would be mate failed. Way to go guys. Several days passed until their bruises had been healed by the healers, and they were ready to try... again. Sybil sent up a silent prayer to the Goddess Synthia to bless them this time. She stood ready once again, to fight for Zenskar, hoping her Goddess would bless them this time.

It seemed like the Goddess wasn't quite ready for her first non-female pairing, or that Sybil had somehow chosen the wrong mate. But she felt like it was right, so it had to be. She had prayed constantly through the healing process this time, feeling some slight frustration to the situation. Maybe a third time was the charm? She stood facing the same sisters for the third time, ready to fight.
