Quote: "My specialties are more... decay oriented.." She thought a moment. "I suppose there could be a spell to snare a rabbit with.. But I've never looked.. And my luck it'd just cause decay in the process.." She frowned lightly for all her work most every 'harmless' spell she'd ever tried to cast has caused some sort of secondary issue of decay. Her own thoughts was that it was a faulty wand.

ktqueen "Ah, I see." Aella's nose wrinkled slightly, and she gave another tug of her scarf, an indication that she was thinking. "We could try to trap a rabbit together?" It could be interesting, just as this fae was. And it wasn't like she was doing anything else really.

Quote: She seemed to give this some thought. Finally, she nodded and stuck out her paw."I'm Morgana." If she was going to trap with this fae, it' wouldn't hurt to share names. "Hopefully we're lucky.. else it's a vegetable soup tonight..."

ktqueen "Aella." They shook paws, and Aella nodded. She had been bored before this, so even if they failed, she wouldn't be bored anymore. "Or going to a tavern or something. There's always that. Though, you only work with decay, so you can't put a spell on yourself to silence things?"

Quote: She shook her head softly, her hair swinging around her in the action. "I'm more afraid to attempt spells on myself than on other things.." She admitted frowning slightly more. "Silly as it sounds... But I suppose if your previous work resulted in decay no matter the spell you'd be cautious too."

ktqueen "Makes sense to me. We'll have to do this the old fashioned way then. Follow me!" She waved a paw over her shoulder and slipped around the tree. Her movements were light and graceful as she began to search for a spot that the rabbits would be hiding in. "As quietly as you can manage." There was humor in her voice, but her words were soft and whispered.

Quote: She'd just about taken a step when the urgency of soft steps and muffled trinkets was made known. She took a moment to situate her things before she followed as carefully and quietly as she could. This meant that she had to walk slower so as not to jingle anything.

ktqueen There was a large amused grin hidden under that scarf as Aella moved. Her sharp eyes were looking over everything, trying to find something that would stand out amongst the brush. Movement, a sound, anything. But she could always hear the fae behind her. "They like the flowers in this area. Sweet to eat."

Quote: She opened her mouth to respond but thought otherwise against it. Closing her mouth, she settled for a small nod as she followed behind, looking to see if maybe she could spot their prey and be more useful than a hendrence to this task.

ktqueen Aella held up a hand in a motion for them to stop, quickly crouching down so she could better see at ground level. Rabbits were small creatures after all. She motioned for the other to do the same, point to a small bush that was moving just ever so slightly.

Quote: She stopped and crouched as she was 'told'. Her eyes followed the other's paw to the bush and she watched it move, waiting to see what was in it. Her guess was it had to be small what ever it was.

ktqueen Aella felt tense, like she always did in this moment. Their stillness was rewarded a few breaths later, as the bushes gave up their hidden mystery. Not a rabbit, but a skunk. And he didn't seem to happy! "RUN!" Aella was laughing despite it all, knowing that the little skunk would soon attack them. She grabbed the other's hand and ran, trying to move them away from the scene quickly.

Quote: At the burst of warning from Aella, she turned, scrambling and nearly falling on her duff as she tried to escape. It was when Aella had her by the hand that she was able to catch her feet and run along side the other fae. Her free hand had instinctively gone for her wand, pulling it out as the angry skunk chased after them. She had two choices.. blast the small critter or let it possibly blast them with a foul odor.

ktqueen There were other options, though Aella wouldn't have minding blasting the little creature. She just wasn't a fae with those kinds of skills. So instead she found a different solution. "Across the river!" It was unlikely the skunk would follow them, and the river was more like a stream. Aella let go of Morgana's hand to jump across the stream, only about two or two and a half feet across. "Come on Morgana!"

Quote: Clutching her wand, she lunged for the other side of the river. "Is it stopping?" She called out, risking a glance behind her to see if the skunk would be crossing to continue his chase or not. "I could blast him!" She offered as her foot found ground. She teetered, threatening to fall back into the water and towards the skunk that was angrily bearing it's hind end at them.
