The paw swipe just clipped him, nothing more. Only a scratch. Whatever. Uller bounded as hard as he could to try to get ahead of the wolfos. He was having more fun than he'd like to admit, honestly. Still, he looked back at Frost with a smirk and darted for some trees. He wanted to make the limbs slap the other in the face. Dirty tactic, yes, but they never said fair.

The bark actually caught him by surprise, like everything else about this. He tripped up, indeed, and fell to his knees. He winced, knowing he'd probably bruised them, or skinned them and then snorted, getting up as quick as he could.

Uller was panting now as Frost managed to recover from the fumble. He was barely, barely in front of the wolf now. It had been so many months since he'd ran so freely like this that he was getting more exhausted than normal. He was slowing down until he just grunted and stood completely still, hanging his head down, knees shaking.

"I am, actually," he called out, black eyes looking up at him. "Call it a tie?"

"I hate you," he muttered, just flopping onto his stomach with the added weight of the wolfos and snow. Uller just let his ears flick back and forth before he just rolled his eyes again and nudged at the other to get off. "Go on, you stupid wolf, go.. chase the birds."

Uller wasn't going to admit defeat, but he certainly wasn't going stop the wolfos from feeling as if he'd won. Even if he hadn't. Jack, his head was killing him from his falls. That was the bad thing about antlers. When you banged your head, antlers caused your brains to rattle around a bit more than normal.
