Stubborn. If Sauda is anything, it is stubborn. Valuing her pride greatly, she dreads admitting when she's wrong and can't stand to back away from a fight. If someone doubts her bravery, intelligence, or any other high valued attribute, she'll fiercely defend it and attempt prove them otherwise.
Due to such stubbornness, she's become quite the liar. And not a very good one. She wouldn't state a lie to intentionally do harm and would hardly make up something drastic but, if her strength is questioned, she'll be more than happy to explain in great elaborated detail how she warded off a stampede of a hundred elephants, all the while fighting alligators and sharks in the swamp nearby. As you can see, she'll lie until she's blue in the face... but most would see right through them.
In fact, most could see right through her. She's not one to contain her emotions and her feelings could easily be read on her face. When happy, she'll grin and have a lighter step. When worried, her ears will draw back and her tail tucked. When sad, her head will duck and a frown would mar her features. And when angry...
Well, when she angry, she's quite the spitfire. Her ill-tempered manner has gotten her into trouble many times. She won't go as far as inflict pain on another... but she'll think it. Grudges are her forte and it takes time and attention to erase bad feelings.
However, she is kind. She has joy around children and friends alike and is passionate for female sovereignty. Sauda enjoys small talking and getting to know others and would defend their integrity fiercely.
But, above all the previous description of her, this rules high. She has no sense of direction. It's the reason why events happen like they do. It was how she met Kamawi, her mate. It was how she found Usafi'tukufu, and it was how she met Macaria. To not meet her when she's lost and befuddled is a rarity.
Biography:
Sauda's birth was both a tragic and joyful event. Whilst life was given those few hours on that dark night, another was taken just following. Her brother's had always accounted it to be an exchange between the Gods but she didn't think that. Mother had loved her so much, they said, that she wanted more than anything to bring her to the world and let her experience it. She died smiling, they assured.
Months prior to the death of her mother and the birth of Sauda, her father had ran off, giving few explanations and even fewer farewells. Devastated in his departure, their mother quickly grew ill and more hopeful for her child, their child. Her brothers, a good deal older than Sauda, stood by their mother and watched her fall into sickness while her smile bloomed more brightly in anticipation.
When the day had come, with crickets chirping on the cool spring night, their mother knew. And her heart nearly burst with joy. Following the pains of labor, she cleaned her child for the first time, for the last time and presented her the name Sauda'paka, dark beautiful cat. She then turned stern eyes on her son's, a look strong enough to counter her frail and weak body, and ordered them to watch over her little one. After whispering how much she loved them, she closed her eyes and peacefully passed off.
The months following were difficult yet joyous. Sauda learned to walk, learned the language, and grew to adore her brothers and rely on them heavily. She heard tales of her mother and was told countless time how their mother died from the happiness of bringing Sauda to the world. The cub was blissfully sheltered and spent most of her days cleaning up the den and gathering resources from a little garden her brothers had tended.
Her life, although not perfect, was something she wouldn't change for the world. And then, after reaching adulthood, her joy came to a screeching stop.
After such a blissful childhood and carefree moments, the other shoe finally dropped.
During one of the brothers' many hunting trips, a neighboring leopard had bared foreboding news. Her brothers had taken an unfortunate fall down a cliff. The earth beneath their feet had crumbled, giving away as they pummeled to their doom.
Full of sorrow and determination, Sauda held a short memorial for them with a few of her neighbors before walking back to her abode, planning on going about with her life. Her routine was back to normal, with fishing squeezed in here and there, working hard to keep her brother's memory alive and to continue life as it was meant to be.
And then, a strange leopard stopped by, asking for food. He told her tales of the temple, of Usafi'tukufu and their culture. He stayed throughout the night, recounting tales and unknowingly enticing the lonely leopardess.
The day following the departure of the stranger, Sauda left the safety and familiarity of her home, venturing to the dense forest in search of the temple and the colony that resided there. She had arrived to the forest, instantly losing direction and became lost. It was there that she met Kamawi and Bara.
At first, she was firmly against the proposal of consort but enticed by the mentioning of the temple. When finding out Kamawi was a chief and getting rather annoyed, she left the hall and encountered Kesha, a kind leopardess who soothed a bit of her fears and questions. Now, she resides in Usafi'tukufu as consort of Kamawi, though she still needs to learn the art of patience to get along with her over-endearing and laid back chief. |

Heiko is rather naive. Growing up in a large family with three older sisters and both parents protective and very much alive, the leopard has yet to experience the hard trials of life. He takes things at face value and has little reason to suspect deceit, unless it's similar to the usual sibling taunting his sisters used to do to him.
Living in one rinky-dink home all his life, Heiko has finally learned the joys of travelling. Becoming quite nomadic, he recently venturing out on his own, the leopard can't find himself sitting in one place for too long, under the impression there was so much to see and just not enough time in the day. His inspiration for his sudden love of traveling would be a wandering lion, Lokesh.
Growing up with four older sisters and his mother(though, one of his sisters passed shortly before his departure from home), Heiko has realized that, despite his attempt to follow his father into becoming the man of the household, he has a rather girly side, much to his dismay. Being rather feminine, he enjoys flowers, dancing, children, and other cutesy things. He also finds that he's not adept in hunting, fishing, or any other necessities to surviving. Luck seems to be the reason for his survival, as of far, along with his knowledge on vegetation.
Whether a dangerous situation or not, Heiko is always easy-going. He thinks nothing is as serious as it appears and that there is always a way out, if one seriously looked and try. With that naive thinking, he can't find himself noticing the danger of a situation.
Heiko has witnessed very little skills in his life, usually only seeing crafts, cooking, and other feminine things. So, when seeing something he deems as amazing, such as a successful hunt, he can't help but grin and cheer. Easily-impressed, the leopard isn't hard to pleased at all, and is held with fascination by even the most simplest things.
Rather inexperienced in many things, the leopard can't hunt, fish, fight, or even do the basics of survival. Things come to him by luck and chance, usually. However, he is always looking to learn, and would always venture for a teaching from a passing rogue, if he's particularly impressed by something.
Biography:
Heiko is the youngest of five siblings, having four older sisters to look up to. Born to Blitz and Treue, their quaint family lives in a small grove, near a watering hole but not near enough for a constant threat of hostile rogues. He spent his years learning everything his sisters did and playing.
His oldest sister, Herz, caught an illness later on in life. It came on slowly, with minor coughing fits occurring here and there. Her body grew weaker as the weeks drew by and, during one of their games of tag, a coughing spell took over before she collapsed. The month following, she was bed ridden. All the shamans and healers that passed through handed them herbs with little promise of recovery. During a particular sunny, gorgeous day, did she pass away.
The entire family mourned the loss, activity more subdued, happiness less easily brought about. Never had the siblings ever even imagined losing one another. Heiko, separating himself from the others, went on a walk each day, going further and further before turning back. His little ventures soon became his new joy, tearing his sister's death from his mind.
One day, a male lion stopped by, in search of food, water, and something he didn't quite explain. Curious, Heiko questioned him, finding out about his adventures and travels, his own imagination running wild. When the lion, Lokesh, left, Heiko had a new goal in mind; to travel.
A fortnight after, he said farewell to his family and left the safety of his home, picking the direction the lion had went off to and simply walked. He experienced quite amount of near-disasters, became quite knowledgeable of hunger, but has also met many different creatures.

Hard Worker || Erevu puts all his effort into anything he sets his mind to. However, because of this trait, he tends to not know when to stop and give it a rest for a moment, following the rules to a rigid T.

Personality:
Amiri is quite short tempered and irritable; he likes things done when he wants it, how he wants it, in the way he wants it. Of course, he doesn't usually get it the way he wants it, and logically knows that, but still can't help to get irked over the let downs and, in extreme cases, disobedience. Despite it all, he's not very violent. Of course, not because of his Colony's belief in defense, not offense, but because of his own need to keep control. Controlling is a definite attribute that one can spot right away when meeting him. Naturally, however, he wouldn't have become a council member without practicing logic and deductive skills; at least, when it comes to troublesome situations and getting things his way.
Despite all his downfalls, he is extremely protective and loyal to his pride. He'll easily stick his neck out for a member and grows disgusted at 'traitors' who leave the colony, despite logical(or illogical) reasons. Those near and dear to his heart, which are an unsurprising small amount, are treated with a gentle smile and more teasing than lectures, though his gruffness still lingers about.
Biography:
Amiri was born and raised in the Colony, though not always as he was now. He used to be spunky, rebellious, adventurous, and troublesome. There wasn't a day going by where his mother wasn't scowling him for spooking(though, never hurting nor intending to harm) the companions, snatching food that was unattended for just a second, or filling a leopards den with hidden spider eggs, waiting to hatch. He was always into mischief and had no regard for the rules, though the leopard did keep in mind to simply toe the line and not leap across it.
However, as he grew, his disposition changed. He grew calmer, his rebellious behavior that was usually vented on mishaps caused by him now becoming into a temper. He started, at first, as a patient male, however slowly, inch by inch, grew tired of disappointments and failures and soon began snapping and growling at those who failed to meet his expectations. However, he was one of the best defense leopards in the colony; his childhood actions, from running, to sneaking, to spats with upset cubs and adolescents who dared to mock his name(which his mother had so lovingly made rhyme), have started him off early in the line of defense and, with years of honing, was eventually allowed onto the council.
