Noh shook herself out at her mother's speech, casting her a breif, somewhat un-amused look. Of course the others best listen to a seer's speech. She and her father both were seers, after all, and they both rarely spoke of visions. Except, of course, to one another. At the mention of the leopard whom killed Hakuna'jina, Koh seemed to tense, going silent and glancing to his mate. He had a feeling if the visions were anything like his.. He knew more than Tuli already, and he moved back uncomfortably. Noh blinked, watching him, but didn't draw attention, instead smirking to Kabi. The other lioness was nothing special-- Kabi didn't think it was even in her sister to be truely a demon, and she was probably right. Kabi nodded vaguely to Ri, but looked toward Tuli. She knew nothing more than her mother, and the dark female frowned, laying down.
Kabi didn't like the anxiety and tension, and she was rather hoping the preachy cub nearby would interrupt, pulling her opaws over her ear a second before blinking.
"Mother, why is everything so tense?" Kabi got out, feebly. She just wanted to go to her den!
Kankri was easily lifted, the juvenile sighing.
"I'm only trying to help, Mother." He pled, beleagered by the injustice. However, he quite loved his mother, and didn't prattle so. Instead, Kankri scowled at Epyka, ears pinning back some as he huffed.
"At least I'm trying to better the whole, Epyka." Kankri's tone was a warning and he growlfed before his tone changed, just enough his demon spoke to her.
"Sweet, dear sibling, it was merely a poor choice of timing. Kankri is tired, and most distressed at the commotion. Do forgive us." He smiled, very calm.
Nearby, Meenah snorted, growling at Kankri and his nameless, worthless demon, so unlike her own beautiful Condescation, and glanced to see her mother coming. She smiled, and straightened proudly, hoping her mother saw she'd come when adults beckoned, and behaved. Unlike Kankri the Insufferable.
"Hello, Mother." Meenah spoke quietly. Tuli was speaking, and the young face turned to face him with a smug smile, tail curled around herself proudly. She was one of the better demons, and she would carry herself elegantly.
Rekki smiled to his mother placidly, nodding hello before leaning, grooming. He gave a whispered "You look well today" to his mother, before he turned to the Seers speaking. Oh?
The murderer? Well, this was interesting, and he knead the ground, Caligula whispering eagerly in his ear with a snarl.

![User Image](https://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i200/_Kanashimi_/SoA Lions/My SoA/chanochadultcert.png) Chanoch didn’t like to be around other demons so to be summoned to such a large gathering was something he would’ve given anything to avoid. He was giving off a dangerous vibe as he sat unnaturally still with big bright eyes, wide as shining beacons. Every so often, Chanoch would growl warningly at a passing lion – demon or slave, adult or cub, it made no difference. The fact that he was able to contain his instincts long enough to give a warning was proof of how much he was trying to get through this situation without starting a fight. But deep down he knew, and his demon knew, that if anyone came too far into his personal space – or Gods forbid, touched him! – Subitus would come to the surface with all the violence he could usually pull out of the dark lion.
He listened to the lion who spoke of a vision but he showed no interest or curiosity. He’d been told to come and listen but that didn’t mean he had to react or do anything about it.

![User Image](https://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i200/_Kanashimi_/SoA Lions/My SoA/acheriadultcert_zpsf6cb82e3.png) Acheri followed a group of lions to the small crowd, without knowing – like most - what the actual meeting was about. He didn’t think he’d be hearing about visions and murder but he looked fairly curious about the whole thing. He wondered how big the leopard must be if he’d been able to take down a lioness and whether this meant they’d be going hunting soon. Suddenly, his eyes fell on a familiar white shape and the dark demon walked slowly and purposefully towards his slave brother, moving to give him a light n** on his rump. Not strong enough to break the skin but then again, that wasn’t Acheri’s intention. Unless his father was present, he’d rather ignore his brother than to openly torment him.
“Cowering as usual, Ashtaroth. Always cowering.” He said slowly with apparent disgust, sitting down next to his brother. What was he thinking coming alone to such a gathering?! “You better not go home limping again or you’ll be as useless to father as slave as you are as a son.” He yawned, looking more interested in the lion who spoke of vision than the pale brother right next to him.

Phosphor yawned softly as he stared up at the lion on the rocks. He seemed to be waiting for more lions to come to the meeting, but Phos was here! That was all that mattered, right? He tilted his head as a hush fell over the lions behind him and his tail began to flick in excitement. This was it! The big announcement! As the lion spoke, Phos' ears pricked up so he could hear everything that was said. Surprise took hold of him as Tulivu spoke, and his jaw even opened a bit in surprise. A leopard? Killed a lioness? No way! The lion before him wasn't too old, so his mother couldn't have been elderly...how had a leopard killed a lioness? That was unheard of! At least...to him. What was a leopard, anyway?
Bozi noticed a few others slaves had gathered for the occasion and it made him feel a bit better. Some were seated with lions, others alone, but all in front of him. He could barely heard what was being said by the lion on the rocks, but it was whispered through the crowd for him to understand. A murder, then...by a leopard. Leopards could be fierce, he had heard, and he glanced over his shoulder in mild curiosity. What if one was here right now? Could it kill these demons or would it be overpowered?
Turning his attention back to the speaker, he kept his head ducked and his ears pressed against his head. It made it hard to hear, but at least he was taking the form of a respectful slave. He knew there were those here who wouldn't want the slaves around and could easily scare them off with a snarl.

Chanoch’s ears slowly moved forward with obvious interest which was an odd sign in the usually detached lion. This matter did affect him personally though. Hakuna was the lioness who’d raised him and his siblings, children born out of a slave and an unknown father. He was not a lion who bonded easily with others and it would be a stretch to say he felt any feelings of affection towards the deceased lioness or the lions of her line but he did feel like he owed her something. In a way, that was one type of bond, he supposed. He sat straighter in his spot, clearly more interested in what was being said now and wondering for the first time if he was going to be moved into action by the unrest currently sweeping through the pride.
-------------------------------
His brother’s silence didn’t bother him. Acheri knew a Na'artu had little choice but to keep a low profile around demons if he wanted to keep his scars to a minimum and talking back was one of the stupidest things a slave could do. Sure, there were families who were lenient – far too lenient – when it came to their slaves, but most of the pale-coats knew they didn’t have a demon’s protection close to them at all times. In the same line of thought, while it did bother Acheri that some slaves often walked around as if they were untouchable, the idea that someone would touch one of Roth’s so-… slaves so carelessly like it had happened recently also filled him with rage.
He shook his head slightly as if to push those thoughts away and focused on the lion speaking before them. A leopard had murdered Hakuna…? His eyes widened and he kept listening, waiting for more.

Well, this was as good a place to start (wait, no... continue) as any. At least Cuin could talk to the lions about what the bones had said. Maybe one of them knew the bones. Or the animal that once had them. In that case, one might know what she was looking for. Of course, just because they had the answers she wanted didn't necessarily mean they'd give them to her. Cuin had discovered that living things were not always so free with information as bones were. Bones told you whatever information they had, whether you wanted to hear it or not. Sometimes, they even gave you information they didn't have. That last bit was actually rather unhelpful; when something gave you information it didn't have, that information tended to be wrong.
With an ambiguous grunt, Cuin trotted toward the gathering.
((Again, ignore until convenient, but Cuin will be there next time I post.))
