"My horns are fantastic." Zar said. It was the one thing he actually had a great deal of confidence in.

"You are just jealous." he added, with another swift kick.

"That's a lie," Lily winced out the words as Zar's hooves showed their purpose time and time again. "My horns are far more glorious," Apparently words could hurt and that was a hit. Or, you know, she actually shot him with an arrow that hit this time.

"Never." he said. "I have more, and fancier than you could ever dream of."

He was surprised he was actually having fun.

"You think so, do you?" She set her bow back in favour of charging in to show him her horns - up close and personal. She may have considered giving him a headbutt, but that was unladylike. Instead, she shoved one of her horns in his face as her teeth were sunk in his shoulder before tearing back. The motion vicious like a wild animal and yet done with smooth careful movements that resembled a well choreographed dance.

Being bitten by Lily actually hurt. It hurt quite a lot, and incensed him enough that he decided to hit her with something more than just his claws, rearing onto his tail and spreading his wings for lift - only they weren't suited for lift, with nothing but the most meagre membranes.

He fell, rather spectacularly really, in a clatter of hooves and horns.

Lily took pause to eye the heap of incubus on the floor. She'd considered letting him off easy... considered. But then she recalled how he got there. Clearly he had intended to hurt her. It simply backfired. Lily smirked softly to herself as she walked around his fallen body, "Oh oh, ouch. I am in so much pain. How will I ever defend myself against-" a swift kick was landed against his side. "-such a powerful demon?" Her brows raised expectantly at him.

"Your sarcasm is not appreciated at all." he snarled, pride wounded and just a little frustrated. All it was was more evidence he needed to work harder on this training.

"You know you love it~" she crooned before raking her nails across his form as she attempted to flee. That last attack was rough and she was not keen to be treated with another.

"If only, it would be so much more entertaining. As it is, it is more like an office than a bedroom." he could feel his strength waning, but it didn't upset him. After all the first step on the ladder was never the highest, it came down to persistence and endurance.

He just needed to stop missing.
