Tampered Potions

A sweet and innocent appearing Old Lady is selling newbie trainers "Herbal Potions" at an extremely cheap price compared to regular Potions. However trainers are noticing as they use the Potions on their Pokemon they become sicker in time. It turns out the Potions are actually laced with a diluted poison that builds up in the Pokemon's body the more its used. Unfortunately the "sweet old lady" has a powerful reputation and if you out right attack her or call her out you'll be turned out by the locals.

You're going to need to reveal to everyone that the lady is a fraud and is harming Pokemon. Do whatever it takes to reveal her deceit and send her over to the police.

Objective:
---Reveal the Old Lady's poisoned Potions scheme.

Opposition:
---The Old Lady, she has an Oddish and Bellsprout.
---If locals get offended that you're bothering the sweet old lady they may attack.

Pokemon:
---You may snag one Pokemon.

Rewards:
---4x Snag Coins and varies from there.

Do ya dig it?

Mission to get fossil Pokemon.

Pokemon have existed on this Earth for millions of years, longer than even humans have. As such history has been many different species of Pokemon come and go. We are unsure exactly how many Pokemon species that existed through out time, and perhaps we'll never know. We have discovered however several different types of fossil Pokemon through out the regions. But one particularly region is simply fascinating when it comes to ancient Pokemon, and that's Kalos.

Glittering Cave is a Paleontologist's dream, fossils of Pokemon thought to have only existed in certain parts of the world have been discovered there. Dome, Helix, Claw, Root, Skull, Armor, Cover, Plume, Jaw, Sail, and Old Amber can all be found in Glittering Cave. They aren't sure why Glittering Cave is so unique and they might never. Either way, if you want to dig up a fossil of your own this is the place to go. Head to Glittering Cave and be sure to bring a Pokemon to help you dig for fossils. It might take you awhile to find even a piece of one but don't give up.

I must warn you however. There is a group of dinosaur fanatics that got booted from the Pokemon Lab in Kanto for their erratic behavior. They think they should revive as many fossil Pokemon as they can and unleash them on the Earth in order to bring back the age of dinosaurs. These crazy ex-Paleontologists formed a small group which call themselves Team Eolith. I have information that Team Eolith is hanging out in Glittering Cave and stealing any fossil dug up. Be careful of them.

Objective:
---Go to Glittering Cave and find a fossil.

Opposition:
---Wild Pokemon including Machop, Onix, Cubone, Rhyhorn, Kangaskhan, Mawile, Lunatone, Solrock, Woobat, Ferroseed, and Dwebble.
---Team Eolith grunts, they exclusively use Ground and Rock Pokemon.

Pokemon:
---You may catch a wild Pokemon, or snag one from Team Eolith.

Rewards:
---5x Snag Coins
---The fossil you find. Revive it here.

Escorting the Escort Pokemon

Lapras, the Escort Pokemon, a beautiful and gentle creature that is endangered of extinction due to its kind nature making it an easy target for hunters. Lapras are so intelligent that they've become aware of themselves being targeted by hunters and have developed the habit of resting in Union Cave regularly, out of sight. It's breeding season having and many Lapras are giving birth to their young in Union Cave, as they feel safe here. However young Lapras can not grow up properly in the cold waters of Union Cave and must be guided to warmer waters by their parents, it is during this travel which most are hunted.

I want you to help protect the young Lapras in their journey from the cold waters of Union Cave in Johto, to the warm waters of Azure Bay in Kalos. It's a long journey so prepare accordingly, you'll be wise to bring some Water Pokemon as well.

Furthermore there is one specific group of people hunting the Lapras unrelentingly. They are none other than Team Rocket. They intend to capture the young Lapras and sell them on the black market, they are highly profitable due to their rarity. It is your job to protect them from attacking Team Rocket boats and make sure they make it to Azure Bay safely where they will then be under the protection of the local pod of powerful elder Lapras. Besides, for whatever reason Rocket stays out of Kalos.

Objective:
---Escort the young Lapras babies to Azure Bay in Kalos.
---Do not let Team Rocket capture any of the young and if they do, free them.

Opposition:
---Wild Water Pokemon along the way like Tentacool, Tentacruel, Gyarados, Qwilfish, Chinchou, Lanturn, and Skrelp.
---Team Rocket grunts, they specialize in Poison Pokemon but will utilize Surf capable Pokemon and Flying types at sea.

Pokemon:
---You may -not- capture any of the Lapras. You may however catch a wild water Pokemon or snag a Rocket Pokemon. Perhaps though you can befriend one of the young Lapras.

Rewards:
---Six Snag Coins and varies from there.

A Psycho Runs Our Motel

There have been reports of people getting lost in the Winding Woods out near Snowbelle City, which wouldn't be much of a surprise if it wasn't for one person who escaped back into the city. They spoke of a mysterious motel in the middle of the forest, where you would suddenly feel tired and compelled to get a room by the aura of the place. entering the main lobby, the survivor found a strange looking man running the main desk who had already prepared a room for this person.

It was at this point where the story took a turn for the horrific, with the man entering his room and falling asleep. Awakening to the sight of the strange man from before standing over his bed, Pokemon spread out behind him and stalking towards the bed. The man attempted to leave the bed, but was compelled by the man to stay as the Pokemon began to prepare attacks to prevent his escape. The strange looking man muttered about him being like the others, trying to escape and ruin the fun. Thankfully for the man, due to his luck of packing an Abra with him, the man teleported out of the room and escaped the area to tell this story.

So we need you to confirm this mans story, explore the woods to find this mysterious Trapps Motel, and discover the source of this strange phenomenon. For all we know, the man could be lying to trick people into the forest, but the only way to discover the truth will be to explore the forest.

Objective:
--Discover the truth surrounding the Trapps Motel story
--Avoid falling victim to the motel's sinister tricks or whatever the truth of the story is

Opposition:
--The wild Pokemon of the Winding Forest, like Zoroark, Noctowl, Trevenant, Jigglypuff, Gothorita, and Amoonguss
--The truth in this mysterious story, a man who is likely to use Ghost type Pokemon and use the environment around him to add to the trickery of the battle and a Trevenant to allow the control of these trees

Pokemon
--You are free to capture one of the wild Pokemon in the forest or to attempt to snag a Pokemon from the mysterious man, although his ability to control the trees with his Trevenant will likely hamper this

Reward
--Six Snag Coins and varies from there

Tower Troubles

A group of Mediums who call themselves "The White Shadow" have been causing trouble at the Pokemon Tower in Lavender Town. The group's alleged goal is to cleanse the entire world of Ghost Pokemon, who they believe to be evil spirits. Ironically enough they actually use these Pokemon to do battle with, though probably because Ghosts are good for fighting other Ghosts.

Either way they've deemed the Pokemon Tower to be a threat to the world, a breeding ground for Ghosts, and are doing some sort of strange ritual with hundreds of Cleanse Tag that is causing the Ghost Pokemon to flee the tower in droves and spill out all over the town. This is becoming dangerous to the citizens and must be stopped.

Go to Lavender Town and fight your way to the top of the Pokemon Tower and take out the head Medium in order to stop their ritual. It's better to have all those Ghosts in the tower rather than causing chaos in town.

Objective:
---Stop the Ghost Cleansing Ritual.

Opposition:
---Wild Pokemon in Lavender Town and the Pokemon Tower including Gastly, Haunter, and Cubone.
---Many Mediums, they have Pokemon like Gastly, Haunter, Slowpoke, Slowbro, Kadabra, Misdreavus, Drowzee, and Hypno.
---The Head Medium, she has a powerful Gengar.

Pokemon:
---You may capture or snag one wild or trainer owned Pokemon, but not the Gengar.

Rewards:
---6x Snag Coins and varies from there.

The Black Pearl

A rare black pearl made by a Clamperl was found at the Ambrette Town Aquarium not long. News of the black pearl spread quick and of course someone decided they were going to take it for themselves, that someone is Team Flare. A group of Team Flare grunts stole the black pearl from the aquarium during broad daylight and made off with it towards Muraille Coast. It's believed they are hiding out on a small island just off the coast with the black pearl.

Hunt down the group of thieves and take back the black pearl. They will obviously pursue you back to the aquarium so be ready to fight at sea. Once you make it back to the aquarium you have two choices. You could give the black pearl back to the Clamperl, or you could replace it and bring it back with you so that we may sell it for some cash. I don't care what choice you go with, just stick it to Team Flare.

Objective:
---Hunt down Team Flare on Muraille Coast and take back the black pearl.

Opposition:
---Wild Pokemon on Muraille Coast including Tentacool and Wailmer. Fishing Pokemon like Luvdisc (Old Rod), and Skrelp, Staryu, Shellder (Good Rod), Qwilfish (Super Rod).
---Team Flare Grunts, they carry Pokemon like Golbat, Houndoom, Manetric, Swalot, Scrafty Toxicroak, Mightyena, Liepard and Clauncher. They will pursue you by boat if they have to.

Pokemon:
---You may snag or catch one Pokemon.

Rewards:
---5x Snag Coins if you don't bring back the black pearl.
---12x Snag Coins if you bring back the black pearl.

No Pressure, No Diamonds

Oreburgh Mine is well known in Sinnoh as it produces enormous amounts of coal annually, most of which is burned in order to supply heat and energy to the majority of the Sinnoh region. Some times they find things other than coal in that mine, usually junk ore, or perhaps random shards of gems, all virtually worthless. Other times, very valuable items are found, like diamonds. Usually these jewels are small and just sold to help support the mine financially. But enough back story, onto the point of the mission.

The mine brought in a Luxray, like they do yearly, to scan the mine for deposits of coal to dig for. This year, the Luxray found something out of the ordinary, which many were surprised that wasn't seen before. A very large diamond was spotted deep beneath the mine. News of this diamond has caused the mine to fall into chaos as all the miners want it for themselves. The gym leader, Roark, has requested our services to help calm the mines down and get that diamond out of there for him, he has his hands full as it is.

To make matters worse, word has it a Team Galactic grunt found out about the diamond and has been instigating the miners to fight among themselves so they can get to it first. You'll have to deal with this pest as well.

You may choose to hand the diamond over to Roark or keep it for the team to sell and make money off of, either way we get paid, just a matter of more money or maintaining image.

-Objective:
---Calm the mine down by finding the diamond.
---Take care of that pesky Galactic Grunt.

-Opposition:
---Miners, they all want the diamond for themselves and will take out any competition. They use Machop, Machoke, Geodude, Graveler, Rhyhorn, Rhydon, Nosepass, and Onix.
---The Galactic Grunt, they own an Croagunk, Glameow, and strangely enough an Elgyem. The grunt isn't particularly skilled or powerful, but they are annoying as they trained their Elgyem to implant false memories into their enemies. Nothing big, and only short term, though this is how they made the miners riot.
---Wild Pokemon, Zubat, Geodude, and Onix.

-Pokemon:
---You may snag or catch one Pokemon.

-Rewards:
---Five or more Snag Coins.
---Varies based on story.

Way of the Samurai(?)

Those annoying teens and man children are at it again. I am of course talking about Team Samurai, the self proclaimed "team of honor, truth, and justice" that has taken it upon themselves to dispense what they call "justice". This time it seems they've decided to declare Goldenrod City under their "jurisdiction" and are now charging people for various crimes, tying them up and leaving them literally hanging to wait for the police to come, like some sort of comic book hero.

I want you to go to Goldenrod City and find their base in the city and just trash the place, show them how a real team works, and make sure their meddling isn't appreciated. It might be good to find one of their members in the city and trail them back. Either way, make sure they see how dangerous their actions can be, especially when someone considers them a threat.

Objective:
---Send a warning to Team Samurai, scare them.

Opposition:
---Team Samurai members, they are a group of wannabe samurais, and as such dress like it. They use Pokemon such as Farfetch'd, Scyther, Scizor, Skarmory, Ninjask, Zangoose, Heracross, Accelgor, Absol, Dustox, Toxicroak, Nuzleaf, Sandslash, Marowak, Gliscor, Frogadier, and Dewott.
---You'll probably meet their leader, the red scarf wearing sixteen year old samurai, Tsuki. He has a team consisting of Ninjask, Zangoose, Dewott, and Scizor.

Pokemon:
---You may snag one Pokemon.

Rewards:
---6x Snag Coins and varies from there.

The Rhyhorn Races

On Route 22 in Kalos lies the famous Rhyhorn Race Track. Trainers from all over attempt to tame these simple minded savages in hopes of winning these races. While there are Pokemon faster than Rhyhorn they are chosen to be raced due to their difficulty, they don't turn well, aren't too bright, but charge pretty fast. The most famous Rhyhorn Racer would be Grace of Vaniville Town, however she is retired.

Enough of the history lesson, time to get on with the mission. We suspect someone has been cheating in these races. One particularly racer and his Rhyhorn are extremely fast and nimble, too much so. I have a feeling they may be using another Pokemon and simply disguising them to look like a Rhyhorn, there are several Pokemon that can change their appearance like that.

I want you to enter the Rhyhorn Race and expose this cheat however you can. Don't worry if you don't have a Rhyhorn, I managed to "borrow" a Rhyhorn from another racer, don't concern yourself about that though. Take the Rhyhorn I provide you and enter the race and expose the cheat. You may cheat yourself if you have to, just be sneaky about it. Good luck.

Objective:
---Enter the Rhyhorn Race on Route 22 and expose the cheat.

Opposition:
---Other Rhyhorn during the race, they will attack and attempt to slow you down or just knock you out. Be careful though, the cheat may do more than just ram you, he may use other Pokemon to win.

Pokemon:
---None, though maybe the Rhyhorn you borrow will bond with you. Otherwise you may receive an egg.

Rewards:
---6x Snag Coins and varies from there.

Going on a Bear Hunt

A bizarre situation has arisen. A man in Floaroma Meadow produces a ton of Sweet Honey year around, and stockpiles it for sale. Unfortunately a Ursaring had gotten into his storage and destroyed many of the barrels containing Sweet Honey. What happened next is very strange. Bear Pokemon which aren't even native in Sinnoh, and those who do, have begun to swarm the area, Ursaring, Beartic, and Pangoro. They've all come to claim the honey, though it's kind of weird that Beartic and Pangoro would like honey...oh well.

Mass fighting has taken place among the bears over control of the massive honey supply, the groups forming camps in the woods surrounding and engaging each other at the man's house, who has fled for the time being. I want you to head on over there and take out the alpha males of each bear tribe, perhaps that will reduce their moral and stop the fighting long enough to clean up the honey.

Objective:
---Find and take out the alpha males of each bear tribe, hidden somewhere in the forest, to stop the fighting so the honey can get cleaned up.

Opposition:
---Ursaring, Beartic, and Pangoro fighters, with Teddiursa, Cubchoo, and Pancham sneak attackers.
---The three alpha male bears. They are very large for their species and very powerful, these bears could take on a Tyranitar and win, use caution.

Pokemon:
---You may catch one wild bear Pokemon.

Rewards:
---6x Snag Coins and varies from there.

Sweet Eats

An old and world renowned baker in Camphrier Town is in dire need of help. His team of Pokemon have fled from him and escaped, and without them he can't bake desserts for his business! He is a baker who uses Pokemon to help him create his dishes, using their talents and traits to assist him, all his Pokemon expertly bred and trained to be perfect for what he needs. First there is Shuckle, the Berry Juice it expertly makes the sweetest around and smooth as silk. Then there is Swirlix, wonderfully fed to produce the most sticky and delicious candy thread there is. Can't forget his trio of Combee whose ability to make the best Sweet Honey there is be unrivaled. Then finally you have his Tropius, his most powerful Pokemon and the most well bred and raised one there is, its bananas simply heavenly.

I want you to help track down his Pokemon and bring them back to him before he loses his business. I don't know why they would run, they've been loyal to him for this long already. There are several places you can check for them, the town its self, Shabboneau Castle, the Berry Fields, Hotel Camphrier, nearby routes. Just find them and return to him his Pokemon. He might ask you to help him bake his back order.

Objective:
---Find the baker's Pokemon and return them to him.

Opposition:
---Any wild Pokemon you may run into on the routes near town.
---His Pokemon may resist.

Pokemon:
---No capturing, though he may reward you with something special.

Rewards:
---6x Snag Coins and perhaps something special from the baker.

An Invasive Species

Some brilliant punk trainer just released a group of Sableye, he had bred and didn't want, in Chargestone Cave, thinking that all the gems in the cave would provide them with plenty of food. The problem wasn't that he was wrong, the problem is that he was right. He originally only released a gem Sableye, but the cave has proven to be such an immense source of food that they've begun to multiply rapidly.

The Sableye are not only proving to be a risk to the cave its self but also to the native Boldore population, gnawing away at the gems which they use to store energy. With enough time the Boldore in Chargestone Cave will be wiped out. As if all that wasn't bad enough the Sableye are electrically charged from eating the Electric Gems in the cave that they are not only using Electric moves such as Thunderpunch and Shock Wave, but the local Nosepass are having difficultly guiding themselves and are becoming lost, wandering out of the cave and into others.

The entire place is a mess. I want you to go to Chargestone Cave and find a way to get all those Sableye out of there. At a minimum there are ten in there wrecking the place, not sure if there is more. I'll let you borrow a dozen Pokeballs if you plan to catch them one by one. Whatever you do, find a better place for them than Chargestone Cave.

Objective:
---Gather up all the Sableye in Chargestone Cave and find a better place for them.

Opposition:
---The Sableye, there are a minimum of ten in there and have become electrically charged from eating Electric Gem. Even some of their non-Electric moves might have a charge to them.
---Wild Boldore, Joltik, Klink, Ferroseed, Nosepass, Tynamo, and Drilbur. Careful, the Electric types and those that use magnetism may act wildly.

Pokemon:
---You may catch one wild Pokemon, but don't use the borrow Pokeballs,

Rewards:
---6x Snag Coins and varies from there.

A Fishy Situation

I am a fish vendor in Slateport City. For years I have made my livelihood in this city selling fish. These past few months however I've had a problem with thief. I've never seen the thief himself but I have caught his Pokemon, a Nuzleaf, Gulpin, and Pelipper all sporting scarves of the same color. They come out of nowhere and steal my fish in broad daylight, at the busiest time of day!

I want you to find the thug that's been ruining my business and make sure he doesn't even think about stealing from me again. I don't care what you have to do, just stop them.

Objective:
---Track down the fish thief and see to it that they stop.
---Optional: Maybe find out why they were stealing and see if you can't help.

Opposition:
---The thief's Pokemon. He's reported to have a Nuzleaf, Gulpin, and Pelipper.
---Anything else that gets in the way.

Pokemon:
---You may snag one of the thief's Pokemon.

Rewards:
---All the fish you can eat and 6x Snag Coins.

Thirst for Knowledge

Knowledge is a powerful tool, that is a universal truth. Some people use knowledge to help others, some to hurt others, and then you have those who use it for their own game, like Team Lore. They are a group of people bent of obtaining ancient legendary Pokemon at all costs, they are fascinated by them and will do anything to obtain artifacts or information on any of them.

Nacrene City gym is an amazing library and museum, taken care of and guarded by the gym leader, Lenore. In this library there are many books on legendary Pokemon, however most of that knowledge is commonly known, except for one book. There is a book that was found in the Hoenn region long ago, and was transported to the library in Canalave City. However people kept trying to steal it and it was then put in Lenore's care where it has remained. This book contains troves of information on the Legendary Regi Pokemon, and is rumored to contain information on how to find them and unlock their chambers but no one has been able to decipher it yet.

I have intelligence that Team Lore plans to raid Nacrene City Gym and steal this book, this cannot happen. I don't question Lenore's ability to protect the book but Team Lore is actually strong and will stop at nothing. I want you to preemptively steal the book yourself and bring it back here so that we can keep a hold of it for awhile, at least until Team Lore gives up on it. Be warned however, Lenore and he "security" team will stop you from robbing them. Good luck.

Objective:
---Break into Nacrene City gym, be careful of human and Normal typed Pokemon guards inside and out.
---Find the ancient book pertaining to the Regis and the ancient braille writing left on their alleged chambers. Certainly though Lenore has kept it in a safe place.

Opposition:
---Human guards inside and out, they of course carry Pokemon with them, such as Herdier.
---Normal typed Unova Pokemon owned by Lenore also guard the gym inside and out, any of the Unova Normal types that is. (Excluding legendary of course)
---Team Lore grunts may also show up looking for the book, they mostly use ancient Pokemon like Relicanth, Bronzor, Brozong, Baltoy, Claydol, Sigilyth, Unown, Yamask, Cofagrigus, Golett, Golurk, Mamoswine, and Darmanitan.
---You are to take on at least two trainers (Guard or Team Lore) and at least one Pokemon guard. The more you take on the better the reward.

Pokemon:
---You may snag one Pokemon allowed at your rank.

Rewards:
---A Pokemon Egg if you didn't snag anything.
---Six Snag Coins or more depending on story.
---Varies from there based on story and foes taken on.

How You Play The Game

The Pokéathlon is a huge competition in the Johto region where trainers come from all over to have their Pokemon compete against one another in various games that demand the use of certain skills such as jumping ability, speed, strength, and so on, it's a test for trainers and Pokemon outside of battles. While these games were made to promote diversity, a sense of unity, and friendship among trainers from all over, this has not stopped corruption from finding its way into the games.

Pokéathletes are sometimes sponsored by big name companies, and are paid large sums of money for winning, in exchange for advertising the company that sponsors them and so on. Sponsoring a winner is great publicity for a company, and the winner as well. As you can guess however, companies do not like to sponsor someone and have them lose, because they lose out on money, so sometimes companies do certain things to insure victory for their Pokéathlete.

Vitamons is a company that specializes in making natural Pokemon vitamin supplements, a product that challenges Silph Co.'s own manufactured vitamins which are used by trainers all over the world. Vitamons is a small company that has started in Johto a few years ago however, and has yet to get much of a foothold in the vitamin market. So in hopes of getting their product out they have decided to sponsor a Pokéathlete, and have provided this person with everything they need to win, and have even prepared a few...insurance policies, if you will, to insure victory.

The head of the Pokéathlon has gotten wind that Vitamons might be trying to rig the games or cheat somehow to insure their Pokéathlete wins, but there is not much he can do without evidence. He has asked us to do some snooping around, and find the evidence needed to disqualify Vitamons's Pokéathlete. On the other hand though, Vitamons knows we've been hired by the Pokéathlon's president, and has offered us a large sum of cash to help insure their Pokéathlete's victory. So what will you do? Help catch the cheater, or help them claim victory?

-Objective:
---Head to the Pokéathlon Dome in the Johto region and either meet with the Pokéathlon President on how to go about catching this cheater, or meet in secret with one of Vitamons's representives and help their Pokéathlete claim victory.

-Opposition:
---If you choose to help the Pokéathlon President and catch the cheater, you may have to take on some of Vitamons's thugs, they won't like you poking around and ruining their plans.
---If you choose to help Vitamons's Pokeathlete cheat to win, you will have to do some sneaky and tampering around the dome, as such the guards will try to stop you.

-Pokemon:
---You may snag a Pokemon from the Pokéathlon guards of the Vitamons thugs, depending on the path you take.
---Pokéathlon guards own various Fighting type Pokemon.
---Vitamons thugs own various Poison type Pokemon.

-Rewards:
---For helping the Pokéathlon President catch the cheater you will be rewarded either a King's Rock, Metal Coat, or Protector.
---For helping the Vitamons Company's Pokéathlete you will be rewarded twenty Snag Coins, as they will be paying us handsomely.

(Note: You may decide who the Pokéathlete is, that is their name, the Pokemon they use, and so on. This mission is all about story.)
