Taking a kneel, to aviod falling off of the zooming Metagross, Kain calls out to Estelle "Estelle use string shot at the Fletchinder". The adrenaline of a pissed mother is without a doubt unmatched, as Three rapid spiraling webs where skimming the fire bird. With one last shot the webs caught it's legs and the egg slowing it down just enough for the Murkrow.

Looking to the new passenger and the sudden concentration of webbing around its talons, a new plan came into the Fletchinder's mind. Igniting itself as it began to streak forward, the Flame Charge would burn away the thread and likely the Murkrow as it crested the wall and the flames died off for the moment.

Watching the bird as it reached the peak of the wall, Reno soon found that Phemes reached the Fletchinder before it could dive down into the forest below. The Bullet Punch would slam into the bird's side, Reno and Harleen found themselves on the bird's back as it took a dive into the forest, Reno screaming the entire trip down. Phemes would attempt to pursue her master as he was being dragged away, looking to her other passengers for any other new instructions.

Drao would fly off as soon as his talons were no longer stuck, still chasing after the flaming bird. A couple feathers had gotten singed, but, the Murkrow didn't seem to care all that much. He knew what Kairi wanted from him, and he wasn't about to give up the chase. Though, seeing where everyone was landing, the bird decided to follow. Landing on Kain's head carefully before cawing loudly, trying to alert Kairi as to where they were in case they had gone out of sight.

Kairi, not wanting to take the leap down as her friends had, stayed firmly planted on Phemes. "I know I'm not your trainer, but, please just try and get us to Reno and Kain safely, that's the first step right now," Kairi said, trying to sound as confident as possible, though she was terrified. Being so high up on a Pokemon that wasn't hers without any of her friends? Yeah, totally terrifying. She wasn't scared of heights or anything, but, that didn't mean it wasn't scary. Azoth chattered at his trainer a little, but mostly clung to Estelle, trying to keep her calm. They would get the egg back, he knew they would. He nuzzled the female Spinarak's face, tears welling up in his own eyes out of fear.

"well good to know your safe". kain said relived with Reno being unharmed.

Once the wire is in his hands kain is confused, lifting his head to say something he's shot off. "sh*t Sh*t SH*t SH*T!" he screams with his speed at nothing he's experienced before. the red eyed Demon child is taking huge leeaps just to keep himself up and his grip. Then it came, a ledge thirty feet out, he knew he had to get that egg back. gulping he wrapped the string around his hand a few times and got ready. Soon there was no ground beneath his feet, wind blasted past his face as he plummeted towards the ground.

after a twenty feet drop kain landed, slamming his hand wrapped in the string to the ground. "GIVE It BAck!" Kain barked at the fletchinder as his eyes flamed with power. throwing his bad arm on the string he leaned back and tugged.

the fletchinder came closer to ground tug by tug, knowledgeable of what's happening it flew down and then zoomed upwards. the change in pace took Kain off the ground but not without him taking the leap with it. the two forced launched him enough to come higher than the little fire bird. "YOUR DEAD!" Kain screams at the bird nearing intersection. Sadly the bird was too fast and took off. Kain kept falling, landing on a dead tree. Its bark made a wall between him and the bird. putting his feet on the bark wall he tugged back.

Still this bird had unforeseen power and pull the wall right over. Kain still on it found himself piloting the mighty bark board. sliding now the bird could pick up pace. taking loops and jumps along the tree lines Kain held on for dear life.

Watching as Kain took off without a pause, Reno gave a small smile before looking over Phemes' side to watch the fun and games. "Well, Kain is doin' better than expected. I just needed him to be able to tighten the thread to get it stickin', but he is now ridin' a piece of bark. I'm so glad Plan B managed ta come together." Reno gave the play-by-play of Kain's escapade through the forest, the occasional tuft of leaves showing exactly where the man was at that point in time. Keeping up their pursuit above the trees, he hoped that this might end sooner than later.

Kain's ride would become more tumultuous as the Fletchinder began to duck and weave through the trees and small spaces before finally emerging into a large clearing. if Kain managed to reach that clearing, a flock of Fletchinders would rise out of the trees, prepared to assail him as Kari and Reno attempted to locate him.

Seeing the sudden burst of water, Kairi directed Phemes towards it. She still felt a little odd riding around on a Pokemon that didn't belong to her, but, it was all that could be done for the moment. However, there would be a shaking in the trees in the distance that made Kairi, very, VERY nervous. Apparently the water attack had woken up something. And that something was...

A huge flock of not just Fletchinders, but Talonflames as well. The swarm of birds rose into the air, though a few (including the original thief) began to dive at Kain and his Pokemon. Kairi knew that they needed to hurry. "Drao, I hope you can carry me a little bit. Azoth and Estelle, I would suggest climbing into my jacket so you two don't end up somewhere you're not supposed to," Kairi said, attempting to get up onto her feet. She held her arms out to try and balance herself. After all, it was a little difficult to stand on something properly when it was moving through the air. Once Kairi was certain that the two Spinarak were safe, she tossed out a Pokeball which would open a lot closer to the ground to reveal her Rhyhorn, Griselda. The redhead would leap off of Phemes, Drao rising into the air to allow Kairi to have something to hold onto, his talons wrapping around his trainer's hands carefully. A single Talonflame would rush at the trainer and Pokemon duo however. Frightened by the much larger bird, Drao released Kairi's hands. Not expecting the sudden release, Kairi dropped.

Griselda, seeing her falling trainer, rushed forward as quickly as she could to catch her. Although it would be a bit of a rocky landing, she knew it would be safer than the girl falling to the ground. Kairi landed with a thud, groaning a little as she sat up. "Thanks for catching me Gris, I really appreciate that," Kairi said, coughing a little. The fall had taken the breath out of her, and that was apparent in her tone. "Please, get us to Kain. I think he probably needs us right about now." Above them, Drao was attempting to fight off the Talonflame that had rushed at them. The Talonflame was attempting to dive down at Kairi, but Drao had his talons locked with the opposing bird's, causing both birds to start spiraling to the ground.

The flock scatters from the zooka'd Pokemon makes it easier for cloven to take aim with his hydro pump. the stream of water blasts one of the burning birds perfectly throwing it into another, causing them to fall towards the ground. "NICE ONE CLOVEN!" Kain yells complimenting Cloven over the hundreds of squawks.

Kains blood races through his veins, pulsing. His fog pour out, and swims in the air around his jaws. "CLOVEN AGAIN!" Cloven runs out and blasts his water rocket back at the fire flyers. Taking even more this time the pump tails 4 of the birds. Three get smashes by the force of it, while the last barrel rolled over it and turned for cloven. Diving strait towards the ground the Talon flame builds speed, so much when it turned up its body was set ablaze. Slashing across Cloven it fell to the ground unable to continue. Cloven though was sent flying to the nearest tree. "NO!" Kain screamed running to the hurt Cloven, with a small roar Cloven jumped to his feet with a slash in his shoulder. "Not giving up yet huh? well than Cloven use Rock Slide!"
