Only when the ground feels stable does Rhyme finally let go of Lykas, lightly turning the color of the circles on her cheeks with the blush across her face at his comment. The tentacle felt strange on fur and she had held close during their travels. "I wouldn't doubt it..." she murmurs, letting herself giggle over the situation. There's no need to cry over spilled milk which is what this situation could have been. But Reno had managed to land the thing and with a nod and the smoothing of her tail, she peered out at the landscape, the environment, and gasped. "This is...hard to believe...and yet...I am seeing it with my own eyes." She whispered, waiting for someone to explain just what they had to do here, staying close to Lykas, more out of trust than anything.

Quietly drawing out his SNAG in order to analyze the area, he found that it seemed that Lykas might end up having to really test that idea out. They were sitting a few million years in the past, as the now visibly closer Anoriths and Amauras could attest to. "Lykas, I have the very valid point that technically, humans are Pokemon too. And with the current time period we're in, you might not wanna try ta side with the locals. They look more like instinct type people than listen ta reason types." A loud crack as something was sent flying behind the group made Reno look to the ground before deciding to turn and face whatever had decided to ruin the moment.
Meeting his gaze would be the sight of a Tyrantrum, staring at whatever it had just punted into the distance to see what sort of damage it could do. Comparing where the Tyrantrum was to where he remembered parking, the resident psychic simply followed the dinosaur's gaze to find the ship currently spiraling through the air as it went flying across the plains he had been gazing at previously. "I just got that ship! I haven't even had a chance ta crash it myself and you punted it like a field goal! What the hell was that for, you great lummox!" The tirade, directed to the extremely large Tyrantrum would not go unnoticed by the Pokemon, who stared down the man before roaring directly in his face right back. Now would likely be a good time to run. That or see what could done to a dinosaur approximately twenty feet away that was currently prepared to eat them.

And, of course, when Lykas heard the sound and saw the results of what had happened, what was his reaction? To latch onto the Tyrantrum's arms with his ponytails and draw them together with great force. ""Why not give yourself a round of applause for that?" He suggested. And then realized the dinosaur's arms where too short to meet.
Tyrantrum trying to clap his hands......It doesn't work. "Ok....now I'm sad." He commented before attempting to escape at maximum velocity, snatching Rhyme up under his arm while simultaneously releasing Tyrantrum's arms.
He'd make sure Reno got his own just reward from him as son as they tracked that ship down.

The Tyrantrum would stare at its two arms and their inability to meet, strangely beginning to grow angry at the repeated attempts to force them to touch. Letting out a roar and ignoring the yelling thing at his feet, the Tyrantrum took off after the fleeing hybrid, who presented a greater target to the dinosaur. With its legs charging forward, Reno would find himself in the fun position if one of the feet preparing to kick him.
Letting out a startled yelp before leaping at the limb, the psychic found himself slamming into the leg before holding on for dear life. "Get me offa this thing!" Reno cried out, panicking slightly as he began to simply hang to a charging Pokemon three times his size. This could be interesting.

Rhyme had no idea what pokemon that was but as far as she was concerned she wasn't getting anywhere near it! Lykas only proceeded to taunt it and make it angry, and she was scooped up as they started to run away. "Okay...its a dinosaur. Probably a smart one! We have to get Reno and the ship and possibly lose the dinosaur too!" She responded, looking around for dips in the ground, places it could trip or not get to where they could get Reno and just regroup!

Deciding that maybe running wasn't the best of options, Lykas turned to face Tyrantrum, stopping dead in his tracks and releasig Rhyme. "Keep running." Was all he said before the gem on his forehead began to glow. Rather than forge his attack through it as he normally would, the hybrid drew his hands together at his side, compressing water molecules in the air into a perfect sphere which began to seethe the longer he held it there. Pressed for time, he wasn't able to charge it for long but it was plenty enough time to release a massive Water Spout that could at least knock the king of dinosaurs down a few pegs. And hopefully dislodge Reno from it's leg when he attempted to grab the channeler with a ponytail while trying to push the not-yet-extinct attacker away.

Taking the blast full front from the hybrid, the Tyrantrum was unable to correlate the intense pain it was feeling to the water spray it was currently receiving. There weren't very many Pokemon on land that could do this at the time period they were at. Reno, having managed to release the leg and hopefully flow away with the water before the tentacle caught his leg. Feelign himself dragged up to where the others were, the channeler looked to the distance before spotting the ship, planted firmly in the ground fifty feet away. "C'mon, we gotta make a run fer it. You two go first, I'll take care a Sue here." Reno told the pair, standing firm in front of the still reeling Tyrantrum as the others hopefully fled the area.
