Kain wouldn't hesitate to grab hold of the mans hand. "Names Kain, Nice to meet you, Alex." Kain had difficulty trying to smile without staging his shark teeth to the world. Kain couldn't help but feel a little weird though, even with how tall Alex was, Kain could still see the top of his head without trying. Sometimes Kain's height just made him feel flat out awkward. "You know since we left that train I'm almost regretting my choice of clothing, It's pretty hot for a shore side city." He explained gesturing to his long red trench with matching dress attire. "That aside Kairi has told me a lot about you herself, and I wouldn't be surprised if this was one of your star beauty's bumpin' Kairi for attention." He would chuckle gently with his words. Kain had an obviouse sincerity behind his words, thoygh it wasn'tt enouph to cover up him being nervous."So Alex wheres a good place to eat at? I'll buy."

"Well then lead the way" Kain would say in an excited matter almost matching Kairi's. Just before he began to strut Cloven got Kain's attention, "Oh Hey buddy you okay? You look a little nervouse. How about you go back into your ball while someone else comes out hmm?" With a nod of the croc, Cloven was shot into a ball, and out came the haunter. Lucky for Kain Venom isn't too rowdy when he's outside, so he shouldn't be much to handle.

The enormous haunter would float around, stopping at the two dark types. Venom as daring as he is isn't out to ruin peoples day, in fact all he wants to do is have fun with others, so instead of causing the two girls grief hey laid his hands down and pat them. Giving a nice smile, and gentile lick to tetra. It wouldn't be long before venom spotted the Cafe the three where heading to and bolted ahead, almost trying to race everybody. Well passing through walls is a unfair advantage as e grabbed them a booth before they even had a chance to enter the door.

Suddenly Kain's SNAG would begin to beep and vibrate, a message had just arrived for him. Before he could even reach for his SNAG, that lovable AI would begin to speak through the device. "Greetings, slacker. If I could pull you away from your little date, I have a job for you." GRAY said.

Alex barely had to think before answering Kain's question. "Well, Callie here was given to me as a gift shortly after I left Kairi's mother," he started, reaching under the table to pet his Houndoom's head. "It was after I saw just how loyal she could be that I realized I wanted to surround myself with them. They make for great guard Pokemon, and they're pretty good with kids, too," he said with a chuckle. "Kairi used to play with Callie all the time when I would see her. There was times when even Callie didn't want to stop playing, because she enjoyed Kairi's company so much, too." Kairi nodded at what her dad had to say, and then she thought of something. "Wasn't there that one time where you almost had Callie taken away from you?" the redheaded girl inquired. Alex nodded in response. "Yes, there was a few people who seemed to believe that it was dangerous to keep Houndoom's, though, really, the same can be said of any Pokemon if they're not trained properly. There's no reason to single out Houndoom's. They might be scary looking, but, they're very gentle and sweet," he said, scratching Callie under the chin as he did so.

"Well that certainly explains something," Kairi said, laughing a little. Her father looked at her, a confused look in his eyes. "Well, you left mom cause of how abusive and unloyal she was, right? That makes Callie your perfect woman I guess. She's the complete opposite of mom," Kairi joked, sticking her tongue out. Alex chuckled at what his daughter had to say. "I suppose you're right. Callie is the only woman I'll ever need. Well, besides you of course Kairi. I'm glad that you've been able to get past all of your issues with me and that we can actually have something more than just knowing the other exists. Though, I'll admit, I'm still surprised you have a boyfriend what with all the things you've said," Alex said, a smile on his face. Kairi found herself blushing and sinking into her seat a little.

When Kain's SNAG went off, Kairi turned to him, a concerned look on her face. She had been hoping that they'd be able to actually relax for once, but, maybe that wouldn't be the case... "What's going on Kain?" she asked, clearly upset at the fact that Kain had to check his SNAG right now.

"God how can codes and wires be so distasteful. Anyways no fret love It's nothing urgent. Just something we'll need to take care of tomorrow." Kain would say with a chuckle. That machine thinks it's does the most work of us all eh? Good to know to watch this A.I. in case of any freak outs and it try's to kill us all. In any case Kain would order his food, and enjoy a small laugh at Kairi's joke, only working off of what she had told him.

Paying the bill for everyone Kain would wait for Kairi to scooch out of her seat. "Ohh Venom, come one where going to head out. Oh just drink a creamer and lets go."

Venom would shoot up from his delicate formation of his 8th castle in a confused matter. Feeling rushed he grabbed two and just ate them plastic and all, floating behind Kain.

Still noticing he had Kairi's and his Luggage "So Alex where can I drop off this stuff?"

Kain would Chuckle at the racing flame pups, chasing each others tail. Though he wasn't nearly as distracted as Kairi. Kain could tell this was the most relaxed Kairi's been for awhile, It brought a smile to his face. Hearing the door open Kain took one more look up at the sky now turning a beautiful orange, it made Kain want to just spend the rest of the day until it completely left, waving goodbye.

In side the house, Kain could make out the simple home, nothing flashy, but that spoke more to Kain than a marble fire place. Though the smell did resonate of something like an old couples house mixed with pup urine, interesting and a little foul. Smell aside Kain was caught off guard as the red head playfully tore the bag from his hands running skipping down the hall. Kain would Slither behind her, creaking into the doorway. There a room similar to the rest of the house nothing too special with a nice bed in the corner. Being the single bed the lanky man just took it as her dad's permission for them to share a bed, that's good.

Kain would tap Kairi, stopping her in the middle of unpacking or something, Kain wasn't sure, and gave her a nice huge kiss. "Your dad's amazing. Now I know where you stem from." He whispered in her ear.

Kain would be pulled out of the door by his tie, just before he got the chance to get out of his coat. Though the kiss was nice and brought a blush to his cheeks before he got nearly strangled. The Red eyed man would be smiling all the same at the more cheekier side to his love. Then the question came. Kain had never thought of battling as a form of connection, especially never battling anyone before snagem, which mostly included rival gangs. "No infact we havn't, and never had I thought of it before. Though why waste this sunlight. Lets do this. Alex where those lines in your backyard for battling? I know many breeders and trainers have them." Kain would make his way out the sliding door, holding Kairi's hand along the way. Standing at one end of the Yard he produces, Three pokeballs from his large metal SNAG. "Shall we love?"

On the Mark Kain released Shadder his Cacnea to grounds first. "Be ready Shadder, were not going to give up very easily."

"Shadder, Send em packing with a Brick break!" Kain shouted as his green Cacti lunged at the snake, Slamming his fist towards the Snake. Almost all of Shadders strength is in his devastating attacks. The force given would throw any light pokemon flying back. "Good Job Shadder. I believe it's your call next my Love." Kains eye's would flash a bright red, like ripe blood split, when saying that final phrase.
