Ashta's agreement made Phosphor grin and he turned back to Susu. It seemed that if she was willing to part with one, he and his Thrall would have no problems relieving her one of one of the cubs, at least. "Well, if you're serious about taking one, I'd be glad to lighten the load from your paws." He turned his greenish blue eyes to the cubs, stepping forward to inspect them closer. Ashta was a very competent lion, but he certainly wasn't the strongest Phos had ever met. That couldn't be helped, of course, since he had been treated the way he had been for so long before now. He needed a Thrall that would be big and strong to help Ashta with his duties, but one that wouldn't try to use that to his advantage. A strong but silent type...hm... "Do you know much about them?" he asked, looking at Susu again. "Or are they too young to have grown into a personality?" If they were still too young for that he'd just have to hope he got one that was like that, or one that was trainable.

Bousvor"Greetings Fen'li. It has been awhile. How are the two of you holding up?" He paused and glanced at the male that had been with the two thralls, but had kept his distance. "Karm find someone she liked?" His eyes were amused. Bousvor watched the group for a moment then looked back to Fen'li. "What do you think?" AshtaNow that it was decided, Ashta moved himself back mostly out of the way of the others. He laid himself down on his belly to wait for his master. It was almost like a double surprise. He knew the white lioness had said Phosphor could take one, but would she really agree to it? Would the mother? For a dark pelted lion, she had been nice to him. If they granted his master a cub, then which would he choose? Ashta noted a bit surprised at the number of thralls that had gathered. He watched the females from the corner of his eyes, and also noted the two males sitting quietly some distance away.

It was suddenly getting extremely crowded and Eldahildr stepped back with a grunt. Apparently everyone and their thralls had decided to show up to look at the cubs! Eldahildr watched as the priestess explained what was happening, and that the cubs were being given away. She claimed that the cubs could be molded into good thralls, but she had seen first hand that personality was a key factor in that, too. You couldn't mold anything without a good batch of clay.
Eldahildr saw an opening and crept close enough to Amaranth to get a good look. Well, their mother seemed to behave properly, anyways. She was avoiding eye contact from her superiors, as she should as far as Eldahildr was concerned, though she did speak to another one of the thralls. Showing him the cubs. Apparently the pale male had shown favour to the similarly pale cub. Huh, the pale thrall had a loose leash.
Eldahildr considered speaking to the thrall, since Susu was busy, but she wasn't sure if that would look bad in front of the reavers.

Fen'li smiled at Bousvor and stifled a laugh and shook her head while Karm grumbled beside her, "Nono, not Karm," she looked over to where K'A lounged, though his head did seem to have picked up a bit now that she was talking to another male, perhaps one he had not met. "Myself," she indicated to Bousvor, nodding.
Karm rolled her eyes, jeez, the pale friend was such an annoyance..sometimes. But what would she do without the poke in her side huh? "And what of you, Bousvor? We've been fine," the last word hard to say, "how have you been fairing?"
Karm budged Fen'li as she tried to sneak a peek at the cubs again, "wait your turn to look, show respect."
"But they are so small..so much potential..." Fen'li said trying to peer at the small things.
Such a strange situation. K'Anatak brought himself to sit up, in his illusion he did not have his wings, but by Mkodi, they were awfully stifled by this trickery. He wished to stretch them, but would have to hold out until later. He had to stay focused, however, or else he had a problem now and then of losing a feather from midair - appearing like some sort of magic.

BousvorHe perked his ears up at this bit of news. "Well good for you! I hope he's nice." Bousvor glanced again at the male, who so far hadn't joined the group, when he shifted his position to sit up. As long as Fen'li was happy he wouldn't have to say anything. Plus she had Karm to watch out for her. He smiled as the talk turned to cubs. "They are quite cute." AshtaWaiting was the hardest thing to do. Especially when the outcome was positive. Ashta shifted his hindquarters to the other side as he remained on his belly. Rather than stare at the priestess and his master, the white male glanced around the gathering. Keeping his eyes down from long habit and the presence of so many dark pelts reinforced that tendency. He was an expert at identifying a lion by their legs.

Ensis looked around the crowd from one lion to another. It had taken him some time to realize that they were talking of giving the cubs away to other members as the Thralls they'd been born. The white lion hadn't given much thought to having any Thralls of his own before, but the idea of raising one had its appeal. You could ensure that they had the habits you preferred, and there wouldn't be the resentment that could come from a captured Thrall. "How many are you looking to keep?" he asked Susu.

Eldahildr was trying to observe what was going on, but the pale thrall kept shifting around like he had ants on his paws. It was getting quite distracting, and Eldahildr was easy to annoy at the best of times.
She growled deeply in her throat, and stepped into Ashta's personal space. "Will you stop that? Stand still or go away or something. Damn thrall." Eldahildr didn't care that he was someone else's thrall, and that they might not appreciate her ordering him around. If claws came out, so be it.

Azrael was not thrilled about escorting Drifa to some little whatever to get a thrall. It wasn't that he didn't like the female or her mother for that matter, but really he just wanted to go out and hang out with other reavers, do challenges, go viking, and other things. Going to pick out a potential thrall was not what he considered to be important. He brought all his thralls back so he didn't quite see the point of this whole thing. Oh well, he was here now, he would play nice and make sure Drifa got to at least look at the cubs being offered up. When they drew close to the priestess and her thrall, Azrael gave the priestess a nod. "Greetings Priestess Susu. I am Azrael. I don't think we have ever been officially introduced." He was happier when his day had just been escorting the freeborn around the pride for company rather than coming over here. Ah well, least he could socialize some. "Giving out thrall cubs, I see. Looks like you have a good many under paw." He would try to be sociable with the priestess even though he did not know her well. He also knew a few others that were gathering so maybe he could make good of this little outing. "Bousvor, how have you been, my friend?" Drifa was quite glad to see the little gathering that was giving out thralls. She needed company more than just these times out with friends and husband hunting was hard when viking men seemed afraid of being caught. Besides a thrall would be a good way to keep her den spotless and free up more of her time for other things. If she could convince this priestess to give her one of these cubs, Drifa could raise the thrall to do things the way she wanted. There were a lot of positives to this situation. She gave a smile and a bow of her head to the priestess. "Greetings Priestess Susu. I am Drifa, The thrall cubs you have look quite well kept. It must be the good training their mother received from her masters." Drifa knew that compliments and flattery could often get one ahead on things. While she was giving the priestess compliments and a little bit of conversation, the freeborn was looking at the cubs out of the corner of her eye and already had her favorite out of them. One of the boys with pink hair and a mostly white pelt was too adorable with is spots on his cheeks and stripes on his front paws. His appearance would be pleasing to her eyes as he worked.

Letting out a big yawn and stretching his little legs, Reinhart stood up and began to walk around a little, looking at all the larger lions gather around him. He had no real idea what it meant to be a "Thrall" only that he was one, and today he would be going home with someone new. Tho this thought was scary to him, for he loved his mother very much, he mustered his courage to look like the best candidate between his siblings. Reinhart wanted to make his mother proud so he mustered up all his strength and stepped forward shouting "I'm Reinhart!" a large grin on his face. His pink hair flowed as he gaged the reactions of those around him, was this acceptable behaviour for a Thrall? Strutting back and forth trying to show-boat his prowess. Striking at the insects, pouncing from side to side and letting out little Roars trying to impress. Reinhart knew this was no place for weaklings and Reinhart.. He was no weakling at all!

AshtaThe pale thrall hadn't realized he'd been fidgeting so much. Ashta was surprised when a dark set of legs came close. Very close! He cringed at the voice. "Sorry,' he whispered, "I'll do better." The male laid his head on the ground and made himself as flat as possible. His tail tucked tightly against his side. He had much practice at this.
This was one lion not to annoy. From his position he made note of her legs in case he should encounter her again. He would do his best to creep quietly in her presence. His only hope was that the exchange hadn't bothered his master from his dealings.
He heard a tiny voice calling out. It must be one of the cubs he decided. Though he was curious, he didn't dare look with the dark lioness standing right nearby.

Bousvor"Azrael," Bousvor turned his head as the other reaver called his name. "Things have... lively." He glanced briefly at Kisukari. "What have you been up to these days?" It had been quite some time since he'd seen the reaver. There was a lioness with him that seemed very interested in the cubs.

Fen'li nodded at Bousvor, "he is quite nice, though I don't think he knows many yet, a bit..hesitant," she looked over to K'A who watched the conversation closely. "But in time, I'm sure. Perhpas another occasion, you could meet?" perhaps K'A would like that?
Who knew.
Karm touched a paw to her brow and settled it back down again. Fen was going to get others in trouble if she opened her big mouth all the time. Though it seemed like Bousvor's attention was drawn elsewhere.
Karm looked to the cubs again and edge closer, trying to look confident, like a reaver, a freeborn even, something more. Something to offer.
They were so tiny, so easy to move and manipulate and mold if needed.
K'A watched and read Fen's lips and chuckled to himself.
Things would indeed get interesting here.

((OOC: HOLYCRUD THIS IS ME BEING FAIL... 8D;; WALL O' TEXT! To make up for lack of reply 8D;; ))
The priestess lay down, cocking her head at Phosphor, a frown on her face. "The only real requirement is that any potential owners NOT be Freeborn... The mother has some ISSUES of being in line, and I fear that it's passed on to the cubs." Wether these 'issues' were real or not was hard to determine for Susu. If anybody knew her personally, they knew why... Which usually included just her family. She shot a glance at the white Thrall, but otherwise paid him no mind. He wasn't doing anything drastic, as far as she cared to think of it.
Her smile wavered at the other Thrall's words. Proud... She was proud of her little ones, but she was also sorrowful. So young, and she had to part with most of them. What was worse was the sense of betrayal - When she'd been caught, Yu had said he'd claim any cubs she had... And he hadn't. Of course, she could see WHY, when not one of them looked a thing like him. It would have raised some serious questions, especially since his mother would be able to confirm that the cubs looked nothing like her golden-haired dark son.
Her gaze turned to another Thrall, a brown lioness named Kisukari. "Thank you." She couldn't say much more - She loved them all, and was attached despite her best efforts to not be. The dark lioness looked to her progeny, before lifting her gaze toward - but not meeting the eye of - the dark reaver that spoke to Susu. Her ears went back, the only sign of displeasure at his inquiry.
The dark tip of her tail flicked as she crossed her paws. "They're active.." She pointed at the pink-haired dark cub. "That one has his mother's personality, I know that much. He keeps getting into my things..." She pointed to the other dark cub. "That one, though, is perfectly behaved... And he's staying with us, to answer your question, Ensis. He's the only one." It was amusing, truly, to see Yu's twins boss the cub around... And he obeyed every order his stubby legs would allow him to. It was mostly silly cub things they had him do, like lick rocks and eat bugs, but it was enough to convince her of his obedient temper.
The priestess looked up suddenly as Azrael approached. She knew those markings... This lion was related to her son's mate. The three words rang in her mind and.... Frankly, while they DID displease her, the subject of if he'd pass on his Seer powers was a fascinating study of hers. SHe gave a bow of her head to the red-faced Reaver. "Thank you. Yes, there ARE quite a lot of them... More than I'd expected..." Or hoped for. She caught the dark male with pink hair as he started to run past and pet his hair in a rather rough manner, claws extended. "It's not been EASY training... And she still has SOME work to go..." She shot a glance at the cub's equally pink-haired brother, frowning. "Cub, you are a Thrall, you don't speak unless spoken TO!" A huff escaped, ears folding back. "A strong paw... Most of them need a strong paw!" The cub in her paws squirmed as her claws pricked. Not that she cared much, he was a Thrall, after all.

Karm looked at the occurrences with the mother and priestess, and to how Fen'li looked longingly at the cubs, and she glanced over to K'A, motioning for him to come. He was hesitant, he had explained keeping his cover, his illusion-thingy as a god was tough in large crowds. But perhaps it might help in this circumstance. Karm felt Fen'li was still naive for cubs of her own, but perhaps, as a group, if they were to raise a fine stormborn, she would be prepared.
K'Anatak could hear the words spoken, his ears flicking forward, and as he watched Fen and saw Karm motion, In his illusion he stretched his wings quickly and then laid them upon his back. Perhaps the priestess might have a liking for his character, his origins, but the others might question too much before he spoke with the warlord.
If he was not careful, and did not cnocentrate, a flicker of a faint distinction of wing marking would appear on his back.
He walked closer, slow, but showing respect as he came to stand with his two companions, thralls as they were.
He nodded to Bousvor, and looked to the two females.
Fen'li seemed excited at his presence, and crouched a little, Karm did the same. There was something about what emanated from him, and Fen'li drew a bit closer to him. She looked to him, then the mother.
K'A had listened closely, and played along, he wanted to show respect, "as she had said in truth, you must wait for her words to come to you to speak," he said with a nod. Though his eyes, when Fen seemed almost aback through her blue orbs, the connection made, had an understanding. He was only trying to help make a connection.
"A strong paw indeed, there is much potential, they are like vaeetir, nature spirits, but must be molded into what they become," he said looking to the priestess, full black eyes focused. As he turned his gaze to the mother, he saw her want for good, greatness in them maybe, and the hardness of letting go. "Is there something you wish for them?" he asked, looking between them. Leaving the question open, so that truly, either the priestess or mother could answer.
He turned himself slightly, so that none would be in between his side and where the priestess was, he looked to make eye contact again, he would have to be careful with his next action. "Perhaps to aid those who watch and learned and know of and seek the gods?" with the last word he let slip the focus on the side closest to the priestess, so that the wing marking, the illusion of his wings was visible just only slightly for a moment, and then gone in an instant. To create a silent understanding of his presence in the lands, and perhaps also why, he did not walk yet freely as his true self.
((Just as OOC note, K'A's true form of being a god is not known to others just quite yet, thought it would make things interesting for interactions between hi m and the priestess though ;] ))

Phosphor turned as someone spoke to Ashta, his eyes narrowing just a bit. She hadn't struck him, but he was his thrall to tell what to do, not hers. When Ashta moved away from her he shifted as well, putting himself between Ashta and Eldahildr.
"If he's bothering you, talk to me next time," he said with as pleasant a tone as he could manage, giving her a wide grin that wasn't friendly in the slightest. "I'll be sure to remove him from your presence." The warning tone in his voice held the rest of his thoughts. Don't tell my Thrall what to do. That done, he turned back to Susu, his expression softening again as she motioned to the various cubs. When one of them moved forward to state his name, he chuckled just a bit. Aw, how cute.
"A strong paw indeed," he mused, watching Susu stroke one of the cubs roughly. "Hmm. My personal preference is to the lighter of the group, any of the three. Little Reinhart seems outgoing," he added, not finding anything too wrong with that. It could be used for good, after all. Ashta was very meek and mild mannered, so having a Thrall that would converse with others without crawling on his belly all the time would be good for the older lion to take note from.
