actually, I got into ZOMG by accident, I accidentally clicked on it when I was trying to click on jigsaw, it wasn't what I expected at all, it was even better. I loved the quests and adventures set out for us and it was fun talking to new people, Plus, most of the items I needed for alchemy is in there and without ZOMG, I won't be able to craft some of my formulas Please bring back ZOMG

I played it, because back then it was the first game on gaia that was all about gaia and all the areas...it felt like and addition to the towns to me years ago...those monsters and the NPCs, plus they where animated..sooo cool and cute...they killed a part of gaia with the shut down...but somehow everybody here on gaia knew that this was coming!...I'm really sad about zOMG!...I've been here a member since 2004 and I'm ready to leave...I should have left long ago when they introduced the cash system but I stayed...I should have left when they nixed all the town events and quests on the site but I stayed again....but now after those stupid tiers and the worst halloween event ever on this site, they have decided to shut down the only game that I play and enjoy on gaia...I'm leaving at the end of 2014!!!

I'm a big fan of fantasy MMOs, so when I saw z! the first day I joined, I wanted to play it right away. I got hooked from the unique gameplay, but the community hit home for me. No game quite has the same people as z! did, and that's what I'll miss the most.

Kaval Quest Zomg is life. It's not about the destination, it's the journey. indeed it is, i remember i played it basically just for gold...but then realized how much i actually loved the game...that's basically how i got into rpg~ If zomg goes away now...what's the good in gaia for deleting this game? It's such a treat!

Mini-mmo format where you can run round with other gaia users, team up, chat in private team chats, recruit, fight monsters, gain gold, build friendships.
Now gaia just got 1000% more boring. If they remove towns, the only thing that my system tolerates because that towns 2 has some kind of program that my laptop LAGS SO HARD at, its crazy I think gaia will basically be a boring old facebook area. I rarely come on now as it is, since gaia is removing everything that made me join in the first place (This is like my fifth account now? Due to me being so bored.) I guess I'll just ditch this old place and head to a real mmo where people give you the time of day to listen.

I decided to try it out just to see what it was about, and I enjoyed it. I regret not completing my current quests and played more often.

If it weren't for murdering monsters and going mini-missions all over the ZOMG map, I'd be hanging out in some random corner in a crew, whispering strange things to people or straight out being a crazy Leader-Sama. I could spend hours sitting in the same screen shouting across the map and having amazing conversations with some really cool people. It was the best way to meet friends, some of whom I am close to now <3
And damnit, I miss being able to rain fire and pretend to dance in it because I didn't get burned > biggrin

I played zOMG so I could get the gold for the cosplays I wanted to make. At the time 100k was a lot and no gold gens so it was pretty hard to get gold if you can't draw or gamble in lotto.

I joined Gaia in 2006 and after a year, I went on a long haitus.
I returned to Gaia in 2013 and stumbled upon zOMG. I played a couple times, made friends and continued playing since then... zOMG is the only reason I stayed because when I came back, they had introduced the GC and everything was crap xD

To be honest, curiosity made me play zOMG, the rest is self explanatory.
zOMG was a great way to make friends, and chat.

When I first began to play zOMG it was to connect with my brother, since we both lived away from eachother. He was in middle school and I was going to a private highschool for my education. zOMG was one of the few ways I interacted with Gaians as usually those on the towns proved inadequate for any real conversation. Apologies to those of you who do like good conversing, but it's somewhat true. Anyways, it began as that before it became something more. I made friends, conquered locations, and hid in the scenery for a funny game of hide and grunny. It was all fun, and then DMS was released and I found myself with a likewise group of zOMG'ers who were unafraid to dwelve into the depths, only to come screaming back out afterwards. We mended our wounds and went back in during 2012 Chirstmas DMS Special and we made progress before we were all at least 10.6, but then it all changed when they made it free... Soon everyone was either an expert or someone begging to join a crew to at least be given a chance. There was no gray area, and so the group I knew disbanded and went their separate ways. In a way zOMG being discontinued feels like that day to me, like losing a very dear friend...
Ah well, I've gone too long.

I think it was partially because I felt like there was more story involved in zOMG compared to other games on Gaia (made me feel like it was a sequel to the Halloween event of Humans vs Dark Elves vs Vampires vs Zombies because in that Halloween event there was the plot mentioning one group surviving and despite only joining Dark Elves for that event, I was able to successfully predict that there would be the plot twist of that one group being a group of all Gaians. Then sometime later the plot of zOMG begins which made me think that the Animated was the threat that the one group would have to unite against.). When I played it, sure I had some frustrating times due to reliance on forming crews (not enough solo-able areas at times I felt) but I was able to get used to it and it proved to be really fun to me. Not to mention the fact that I wound up loving the fluffs because they were so cute!
