SubonicXP "Oh yeah." The girl responded to Blizzard. "He is really good. Been Under King for a good year now, which is a surprising amount of time as most people end up disappearing for whatever reason after a few months tops. Real weird dude though, dresses up in a black jacket and conceals his face with a hood and only goes by Under King. Word has it he went up to Pyrite Town not long ago to scout the Duel Square for his successor. Don't know if he ever made it back or not." The girl explained. ----- "Cause, you seem like the type of gal who is looking for information. Been noticing you listening in on conversations." The hobo grinned. "You can say I'm a seller of information here in the under. Interested in checking out my wares, so to speak?" "Huh? Really?" I said to her. "Shame. If he's as tough as you say he is, I'd wouldn't have minded taking a crack at him. Though...wait, successor? How old is this guy?" I asked. --------- "...really?" Freth said. She knew these types. There was always something they were wanting. Some would be legit, actually offering the advice for a fee of some kind. Usually some sort of goods to help themselves. Other times is merely a trap and willing to take you for whatever you got. Freth look a look around the area then stepped forward towards the hobo. "I'm real particular about what I'm looking for. I'm not sure if you got it." The Hobo wasn't the only one who could play someone.

Winner gets to challenge the Under King for his title." The boy said further. ----- "You might be surprised on what I have to offer, gal. I used to be an informant for the Rangers way back when. Back then I had a cushy pad down here in the Under and all the Pokemon I could want so long as I kept squealing...ah those were the days. So, what you kind of info you looking for?" The hobo said.

And...Phenac isn't that far from here, is it? I don't think so..." I asked. ---------- "Really?" Freth said, stepping closer still. "Then I'm looking for a certain someone down here. The one responsible for the string of Pokemon thefts up in Pyrite. You wouldn't be able to miss him, he's probably the only one that has a Blitzle, which you more than likely would never find in this region by any other means."

The girl laughed. ----- "Blitzle..." The hobo mumbled as he stroked his dirty beard. "Never heard of such a thing, but I do know of the Steel Snatcher. Can't say I've done much pokin' around on him though, ain't no one came to ole Dish and give him a reason to. Heard about what happened up in Pyrite though, and that he was last seen running out of Pyrite...but you heard that already, didn't ya?" The hobo said with a grin. He was pretty good. "If you would like I could do some diggin' for ya. So long as there is incentive." The man said as he twirled a finger into his beard.

Probably a good thing I didn't bother battling if I was going to get nothing out of it. Saved a bit of headache there. That being said, this was going no where. The attack on the Snagger really put a damper on things. Should have figured that he wasn't going to stick around after that. Though its nothing that I'm going to write off just yet. It depends on just how committed he is to the colosseum. "How often did fights happen against the king?" -------- "What incentive are you looking for? And how long are you expecting to take?" Freth asked, crossing her arms.

"At least two or three times a week. That's why I'm shocked not to see him lately. The Under King takes his title seriously. Why else would he be so worried about who succeeds him?" The girl answered Blizzard. "I guess we'll find out if he's still around at the end of the qualifier. Either the winner gets to face the Under King or becomes the big boss himself." She shrugged. ----- "I want a Pokeball." The hobo said rather plainly, a serious expression overcoming his face. "As you know such devices are rather expensive here in Orre, especially down here. That's all I want. If there is any information to be found I could have it in a few days. I'm pretty quick with my sources."

At the very least then, I should keep tabs on this place, at the very least until the qualifier is over. That way, we'd know for sure if he had skipped out of town. "I guess I'd best be watching out then. Don't really want to miss anything. Though...huh...hmm..." I then looked down at the field. "...you two might be right about one thing. This is not exactly...high on the exciting scale, is it? I guess I wouldn't miss out on much if I stepped out for the moment." I said, starting to make my way through the crowd again. -------- "A Pokeball, huh?" That wasn't really all that high of a price at all. Really, in fact, she had an idea. She took out a mostly blue over red ball. A Great Ball. "...just...a few days?" Freth said. Lets see how quick this guy gets moving.

"Later." The girl said to Blizzard, waving him away rather dully. The hybrid would have little trouble making his way back through, the crowd was less rowdy than before as they seemed to become disinterested with the battles at this point. The girl must have been right about the Under King, his trash talk must have kept things pumping. ----- "A Great Ball!?" The hobo cried out exctedly as he reached his hand out shakily, almost afraid to touch the device. "I-I'll find out anything possible as soon as possible. Just meet me back here in two days, four tops, ma'am." The man said, never taking his eyes off the Great Ball. "Is it a...deal?" He said, the man apparently completely in awe of the ball.

I stepped out through the crowds and back out towards the front of the colosseum, thinking for a moment. There had to be something else that I could be doing now, as far as I was concerned. Not really all too sure as to what though. All routes that I can tell all lead to this guy not being here. This isn't a place that I'd care to stay for too long. There had to be something else. ---------- Freth looked towards the hobo. Excited he apparently was. "...a couple of days then." Freth said, lobbing the Great Ball to him. "I'll be in touch." She said, walking off from him for the time being.

As both Blizzard and Freth were walking along their own paths they could both hear a lot of shouting in the middle of town, as well as streams of fire blasting into the air followed by calls for Water type Pokemon. It seemed like whatever was going on there was causing utter chaos and destruction. If either one of them was looking for something of interest they found it.

I perked up, staring off into the distance, as did Freth from where she stood. While I couldn't really hear what was going on from where I was standing, Freth could faintly make out something. Nevertheless, I heavily doubted that a fire of that size and magnitude was a common thing. I pulled out my SNAG, signaling off to Freth. "Come on...pick up...pick up..."
Freth from across the Under would soon pick up. "Blizzard, are you okay?" Freth asked.
"I'm fine. I was about to ask you the same thing. You're not anywhere near that fire, are you?"
"I can be." Freth said.
"Hurry. I'll be with you in a couple of minutes. Make sure that, despite whatever long shot it could be, it isn't our guy."
"Right." she said. We both broke the connection and started rushing to the fire in our own respective rights. As expected, Freth would show up first, flying up to one of the roof tops and looking down at what was before her. "....?"

A pair of courageous street rats were attempting to fight off the angry Pokemon with their own, however weak, Pokemon. The Rattata and Pineco both didn't stand a chance against the Quilava. Near the Fire type Freth could spot a person, apparently commanding it to burn things down. The owner of the Pokemon was clad in all red, in fact the entire outfit seemed very familiar. Wait a minute, that was an old Cipher grunt uniform.

She didn't think it was the rogue snagger, by any means...but she was left dumbfounded as to who it really was. "No...bloody...way..." Freth said to herself. Of all the people on this planet, it was HIM causing this!? Does this guy's stupidity know no bounds? Freth leaped off her perch, glided a bit, then made the hard drop, directly on top of the lone Cipher grunt. "Resix! Hello there! How long has it been!? Three? Four years now since I last saw you? If I recall right, it was in...where were you? Sinnoh, if my memory serves me right? On the beach outside just above Sunyshore City? Oh wait. No...no...hold on. I think we had words in Unova, actually, sometime after that. Either way, it has been a while. You really know how to get a girl's attention, don't you? How are your nitwit brothers doing by the way?"

Barked the rodent as it unleashed a fierce stream of flames straight for Freth. What a reunion this is turning out to be.

"Ugh...also got a way with them too..." Freth said, snatching off her wig and trying to put out the couple of embers that was about to put her entire head on fire. She then quickly pulled out a Pokeball. "If you want the truth, I wasn't even looking for you!" She said. "I was here on something else. So if anyone is to blame...Walrien!" Freth tossed out the Pokeball, revealing the massive Pokemon out for battle. "Walllllll!" The Walrien roared out. "...it's you coming out of your hiding spot and bringing all the attention on yourself, let alone NOW of all times! Surf!" "WAAAAALLL!!!" The Walrien roared once again, summoning a massive water attack which rushed for Resix and his Pokemon.
