"This isn't a base capture Tompson, We're just securing the area." he reminded the officer. Though there were suspected outposts in the area, none of the expected predictions were confirmed. The men were already warned to be prepared for heavy counter resistance with mobile suits but to hold out until a front was established. "Just be prepared to encounter resistance the moment we touch down."

Nora was also in the mobile suit hanger area. Her Gelgoog needed some tweaking as their mass production model was still in the testing phase in the Africa region. Nora spotted Terrance and head right over. She gazed upon his Dom FunfHeavy. " Captain you've been up all night. You should get some R&R, The feddie's aren't gonna give us a break. " She looked at the Captain's face, what a serious man he was.

Everything seemed fine, some joints would need some oil and maintenance on them, but at least it wasn't entirely broken. When Lieutenant Noriko came up to his suit's opening, he glanced at her, only to return his eyes to the screens. "As have you, and many others. That's part of the cost of war Lieutenant." He was finished now, raising the screen in front so he could leave, stepping out onto the crane. "It's because we get no break that I'm staying up. Until the pencil necks in space decide so, we'll never get a break." he said, looking up to his mobile suit as well.

Still looking at the Captain's face with a worried expression. Nora thought about all her other friends from side 3 that are currently fighting in space. Wondering if they were still alive or dead. " On the bright side Captain, we have something the feddie's don't have. The Zeon spirit and the will to achieve victory! We have some of the best people fighting on the front lines. Your one of them! " Nora was trying to give a positive note to lighten his mood.

With another sleepless night, Jae decided to take a walk around the compound. " I wonder whats going in space right now? " Jae muttered to himself. Before leaving his room, Jae looked at a picture on the wall with him and his best friend Mikhail. "Don't worry buddy, I'm still alive and well. " Jae then walked to the corridor of the barracks and took a little walk.

The cargo bay latched open, Wyatt was beginning preparation. " t-Minus 30 seconds till drop. Systems all green. I'll see you guys on the ground. Petty Officer Second class Tompson deploying! " Wyatt's GM ejected from the Medea transport.

With the systems good, the team waited for the lights to change and the door to open Once it did, Wyatt was the first out. "Lelia, you're next. Keep close by!" Once her guncannon was out, Leon's GM Striker slid out into the open sky, promptly falling before its chute deployed. The thrusters helped cushion the heavy beast as it touched down, and Leon jettisoned the backpack before he began moving his unit ahead. They had minutes to reach their position before the attack began. The Medea would be spotted sooner or later.

Lelia's Guncannon flew out next, everything was going according to plan. She was hoping the crew of the Medea transport would get away from the combat zone once they deployed.

Suddenly, the outpost's alarm's went off. Lights lit the air as a nearby Medea transport was discovered flying nearby. " Are we under attack?" Jae looked around and saw the sky lit up. " Damn the Federation, what in the world are they doing!? " Jae quickly made his way towards the hanger bay.

Nora's personal concerns went away once the alarms went off. She looked at the captain and the went off to her Gelgoog. She knew the Federation had come to their doorstep. Jumping into her jumpsuit she hop into her war machine & prepped for launch.

Reaching their location, an area filled with rock outcrops, Leon knelt his mobile suit down. It was time. Moments before the sun rose, the ships launched their first volleys deep into land at the known and supposed zeon defensive locations. FF-6 Tin Cods launched from carriers, Aqua GMs dove into the deep to protect from Zeon aquatic mobile suits and armors, and the main force progressed to the shore in the form of RGM-79 GM units. Now coming standard with beam rifles, the base models were mixed with land combat and desert types. The Earth Federation was not going to take this war lightly now.

Leon's squad, and many others spread around, held the objective of intercepting fast attack squads which Zeon liked to mobilize. Generally Doms, there were some events of Gelgoogs moving on Dodais. Their secondary was to eliminate any Zeon base they could find. "Ready up, we're not on the shores but we should be just as ready for enemy mobile suits." he warned his allies, including the anti-MS infantry dropped in earlier that day.

The captain crossed his arms. "Spirit is just another ammo for command to keep stock of." He knew he was coming off as pessimistic, but it was true. Despite the insistence that the moral was dangerously low, command struck on. Gihren only cared about one thing... The alarms in the hangar brought Terrance out of his thoughts, and at attention. "Nora, get to your mobile suit now." Ge ordered while he went to a wall phone to learn of the situation. Above the base, a medea was sighted, but more importantly reports were coming in of a federation assault force on the coast which was pushing in quickly.

"Second squad, go after that transport!" he shouted, running to his mobile suit. "First will move with me and join with outpost 323's squad. If we let the federation move up unchecked they'll overrun our outpost defense line." It was about time the federation moved, but he expected them to retake Europe before Africa. It just didn't seem strategically advantageous. Strapping into his Dom, he stepped it out of its hangar space, manually inserting the chain gun's belt into its slot. "We will not let the Federation claim this war. Hail Zeon!" he shouted, speeding his unit up the ramp and into the dirt.

Jae quickly suited up and boarded his machine. "Diagnostics green, Main power unit stable. " Jae then got the orders for team two from Captain Ares. " Prepare to move out Team two! "
