Warehouse of Phantoms

[Ms Edyn]

Sihlo had been working in her profession long enough to know not to ignore the sudden chill that crept down her spine. Someone was watching. Without hesitation, the girl whipped around to face the window Arkelos was peeking in and, in the same motion, pulled out her pistol and fired two shots, the bullets hitting the wall on either side of the window, "Come down and explain yourself or the next one goes between your eyes."  

[Arkelos]

Arkelos grinned, "Nice toy gun you go there." he said arms crossed in a relax manner on the windows ledge. "Now why would you want to kill me? I have done nothing wrong. Nor have i had the pleasure of threatening you...Yet." Standing up brushing the dust off, "Now if you ask nicely, i might offer what i know. Besides, If you're good as something don't ever do it for free." He laughed, "I head that from some Joker in Castelia City underground, good line am i right?"  

[Ms Edyn]

"Sounds like a crazy person to me," Sihlo said, keeping the gun trained on Arkelos, her finger resting easily on the trigger ready to squeeze the moment he made a threatening move towards her, "Besides, who says killing you would be free? I'm sure I could get a few bucks off your body selling it on the black market. Plenty of people willing to pay for a fresh corpse, no questions asked. Now, I wanna know. I saw you at the casino, then you were standing outside the cafe, now you're here. Why are you following me?"  

[Arkelos]

Arkelos let out a laugh, "Oh you sweet naive child." Arkelos said with a mocking smile. "I'm sure you could pay a decent, or even a lovely bounty. As well, your witty assumptions are very amusing. If you must know, i have an assessment that is classified. I will not provide anymore information as long as we are being hunted, or watched. I suggest we move to more privet accommodations, before i say anymore. How about a nice cup of tea, even-"

Arkelos' ear twitched, "something is wrong, I must go. You're welcome to join me, but seeing as you fell into a trap. I'll be back to rescue you from the mean ol' baddies." Arkelos said sarcastically.

He left the view of the window, took a strong sniff of the air, listened, and quickly sprinted toward some old barrels and crates. Hoping to slip inside before anyone, or thing, showed up.  

[Ms Edyn]

"Dammit," Sihlo grumbled, putting her pistol away, "I didn't fall into a trap, I was pulled into one. Literally." She knew the chances of Arkelos hearing her were slim, but the girl still felt the need to say it out loud as she rushed to find her own hiding place. She may not entirely trust this new, strange person, but she did trust her own instincts and they were telling her the same thing he did. Hide.  

[Arkelos]

Arkelos' sense were right. Someone or thing was close, but he couldn't pin point it. "That stench, it's unlike anything I have tracked before." He said peeking out. He sees a young boy, no older than 10. "What on this green earth?" Shortly after he sees the boy break the lock in an unusual manner, and even more impressively throw open the doors as if they were leaves in the wind. "Wow I'm impressed. That short of strength could leave cities and mountain. What is this boy up too?" He said with curious thoughts.

After the child and entered the warehouse Arkelos started to prepare. "Ladies and gentlemen, we might have a fight in our hands. Our job is not about a fight. It's for information, let us try and keep it that way." After the group came out Arkelos' ears started to twitch. "Oh this can't be good. , i I need you to house a distraction. Houndour, Poochyena i need your to for counter diversion if Growlithe needs help. Furfrou, keep an eye out for everyone. Rockruff, sand attack and rocktomb if anything gets dicey.

Everyone except Growlithe get into position. "Growlithe yo're up." Whispered Arkelos. Growlithe starts to walk around the lot in front of the steel metal doors. Acting as if he's a wild pokemon.  

[Ms Edyn]

"You know what's going on here, don't you?" Sihlo asked, walking up behind Arkelos. She'd witnessed the impressive act of the young boy that had led her here, though why he brought her to this place only to seemingly abandon and forget about her, she had no clue. Then she watched as Arkelos started acting as though he were going into a war zone. Something was up and she'd be damned if she was going to hide like a child and get caught in the crossfire.  

[Arkelos]

"Ah you're alive. Glad to see you. If you're wondering about my Pokemon, it's a precaution. I dont expect anything to escalate, but if it happens at least we can due fighting." Arkelos said grabbing a handful of dirt. Than letting it slowly drop; checking the direction of the wind.  

[Ms Edyn]

"I'm not wondering about your pokemon. I'm wondering what you're doing here. A question you have yet to answer." Sihlo huffed, becoming increasingly irritated with the man. Looking around at the pokemon the man released, Sihlo crossed her arms and sneered. Dog pokemon, figures.

"You know what? Forget it, I don't wanna know. I'm out of here and if I catch you following me again, I won't hesitate to shoot you; and next time, I won't miss."

She turned and began making her way back towards town. There was subduing freaky about this place and every instinct in her was terming her to get as far away as fast as possible.  

[Arkelos]

"Lighten up sweet cheeks, we have other things to worry about watch and learn." Arkelos brings out his pokeballs throwing them in the air as he recalls all his Pokemon, he brings out his Abra. "Abra, remember our little trick," despite the pending danger Arkelos sits down with Abra and begins to meditate. "Calm your mind, bring for your mental energy. Bend the energy around us." The two started humming and taking deep breathing. "Now Abra, use that energy, now... cast.. Reflect. Imagine mirrors all around us, shielding is from all foreign outside energy. Distort the world, and make us disappear."

As the mirrors started to form and distorts the space around them, Arkelos calmly speaks. "Darling, we don't like each other that is clear. But this could work. If it does not, I'm sure you can use their bodies as target practice, clearly you need it. Now get in here before you get caught."  

[Ms Edyn]

"Fine," Sihlo growled, stepping into the reflective field, "But if we're to work together, please use my name. Never been fond of demeaning nicknames. Sihlo."

Once inside, Sihlo immediately released her own pokemon; a Persian, Zangoose, and Purrloin; in preparation for an attack should this plan not work.  

[Arkelos]

"Pleasure to make your acquaintance, I'm Arkelos." He said still meditating. The Abra and Arkelos sat there continued tp humming.
