Alesaan The_Slytherin_Goddess Hahahaha!! I've done that several times. The panic of screwing with another's post exists!!
On the whole, I feel these submissions are better than most for PC 1's first challenge, but a handful still have a long way to go. I feel like those few who aren't at an acceptable level should perhaps gets warnings to seek out our Mentors. Wait, we can edit other people's posts?! I've been on this site for over a decade and didn't know that lol stare I would definitely gently suggest to the weak links to go and work with the mentors on next round. Now that we have this great resource, I can't wait to see designers get better after working with our two lovely mentors. I think it's because we're crew in a guild? So we can moderate. XD And yeah I third this, a little prod in the proper direction can go a long way and the mentors are here so why not make sure they get some use?

Hello hello everyone! I agree with most everything that has been said. xD I also have some rough numbers so we can discuss the top and the bottom looks, and decide on the winner and designer eliminated!
Top Three Tink_Bel (Zahara) with 91% Kiwi Cannoli (Kate) with 84% khionna (Veronica) with 81%
Bottom Four rnadotsuki (Iona) and METTAT0N (Trinity) tied with 58% Princess of the Raindrops (Mia) with 55% Destined Savior (Brooke) with 33%
Now, suicide could possibly be in the bottom depending on Goddess' score, but it would have to be a piss poor score and I don't imagine that happening, and on the flip side of that could give the look a 10 and still wouldn't put suicide in contention for the win, so I think we can discuss these top and bottom three without fear of there being much change.
Honestly, I'm inclined to go with the numbers, and give the win to Tink and the elimination to Destined. Especially since it isn't like they're just a few percent off from the others.
EDIT;
With Goddess' score added in, suicide is officially safe!
Alesaan, and Goddess, what are your thoughts on the winner and who should be eliminated?

bad wolf bae Honestly, I'm inclined to go with the numbers, and give the win to Tink and the elimination to Destined. Especially since it isn't like they're just a few percent off from the others. I agree fully, though honestly if there is any disagreement I'd be fine with any of the bottom 3 going home, because they were all terribly disappointing this round. Tink however, seems to have more than earned her win.

Sorry for the delay, peeps! I took 2 months off of work and they're trying to make up for it or something with long a** hours. And then there was the incident where I walked in on my fiance's 16-year-old son and his gf getting busy (for the first time, no less), so Jerry wanted him for an extra day to talk about safe sex.
Work aside ... virginity ruining aside ...
I'm all down for the winner and loser. I also would have accepted Princess being eliminated, but hopefully she can wow us with a second chance.

Challenge 2: Time for Drinks
I Have Given Up (Xoco) Score: ZERO Comments: NO SUBMISSION and no reason why or anything. Girl. Come on now.
Empress Ekko (Mia) Score: 7.5 Comments: A cocktail dress! Cocktail was very evident, and that's really the only reason the score is so high. I like the idea of black and white, and Empress matched colors amazingly well. It is balanced. It is simple, and not in the elegant way I would have liked. I don't really like the dress? And I'm not even sure why. Also reeeeal tired of this arm mod.
DAVlD DUCHOVNY (Keran) Score: 5.5 Comments: ...eh. Not cocktail. Not even remotely cocktail. Doesn't even feel like a socialite woman from a by gone era lifting her glass to invite guests to join her in the study for one last drink before the evening concludes. It just...nope. So not cocktail. Doesn't fit the challenge. Wish DAVlD had said something if they had a problem with sobriety and alcohol, wouldn't want to cause tensions and what not. It's a beautiful color scheme on Keran, and there's no denying she looks beautiful. Different arm mod is a plus! Just a lot going on though, I don't get the jewels of the necklace and the pocket watch and the flowers in the skirt and hair. Just feels like a lot of ideas. Or very late in the evening and Keran has been throwing on what other people have been taking off.
x_suicide_is_inevitable_x (Ebony) Score: 9 Comments: This is hands down my favourite cocktail dress presented. This is how to add length and keep it cocktail. The purple on the underside of the skirt plays off the jewelry and vice versa, Ebony looks gorgeous and ready for a fun night. This is also some of the most cocktail appropriate jewelry, props for that. The background isn't my favourite, I think there was probably something out and about that would have matched better? But it's such a little thing I don't hate it. Only thing I hate is that suicide submitted at the very last minute again. Killing me smalls.
rnadotsuki (Iona) Score: N/A Comments: WITHDRAWN which is really too bad, would have liked to see what they had to offer.
khionna (Veronica) Score: 6 Comments: ..eh. I really liked the description and the story that it told, and Veronica fits it. She looks like she's going out for cocktails. But um...nope. Not feeling it. The white in the skirt is a terrible focus spot, I never understand drawing attention to that part of a woman. There should be red lower down. The veil isn't great. Earring is outfit her hair. Good legs and arms. Background is a nice thought but I think the color is a little off? Idk.
Your Local Gay (Dita) Score: 6.5 Comments: The only reason this scored so high was because I see legs and can call this a cocktail dress...and I like the word kiki. But this whole thing isn't going out for cocktail hour. It's 3 am, cocktail hour ended the day before, and Dita has collapsed on the floor among all the empty bottles and looks like she's covering her mouth to avoid puking - all while not spilling her glass. Doesn't look like gossiping with friends, looks kinda messy. Headband...what the hell is that? Doesn't match any of the colors, the story, the dress, the...anything. And while I appreciate where she was coming from with the speech bubbles, I don't think they're the right choice. They don't look like speech bubbles, they look like the bubbles around drunken characters in a cartoon.
Pixelplays (Kate) Score: 6 Comments: It is technically a cocktail dress, yay! The background really sells the story of having to step out for a breath of fresh air and just taking a moment away from the party. That...that is where the praise really ends. Between the balcony and the black stockings that bottom half of the outfit just disappears. And it just makes the outfit look even more simple and blah than it might have otherwise looked were we able to see the skirt details. And I can't stand the cigarette, elegant though it is in the long holder. I think it makes her hand look kind of heavy, and it doesn't say breath of fresh air very well. Idk. I could have done without it, though things then might have been even simpler.
Princess of the Raindrops (Noelle) Score: 6 Comments: Lord save this girl from the damn space goggles that are eating her head. They don't look like sunglasses, and they do not make sense with the look. I'm all for sunglasses at night, especially on a model going out for drinks. But I think they should be worn properly for one thing, sleek and sexy for another. Not big and round. I love the purple and the fur, they're great together and great on Noelle, they sell the classy cocktail look. Legs could be better...like any other stockings almost. The black line is distracting, not the positive she was hoping for. And as much as I love the fur, the gloves aren't right, and I have struggled with them and that item myself for that very reality. And the background is...upscale medieval times? Would actually love to know that item and use it myself, haha, but not for cocktails.
Tink_Bel (Zahara) Score: 8 Comments: These colors are great on Zahara! I love the silhouette. Love the hint of background - more of an ambiance of night on the town - that was created. I don't....hate.....the god damned arm mod....even though it was used....AGAIN. I think this is the best use of it, and that's the only reason I don't hate it. Personally I don't like the ankles? I like the thicker legs and shoes and how the leg mod and skirt play together...but I don't really care for ankle straps in the best of times and they just really jump out at me here. Description just made me think 'wah wah'.
METTAT0N (Trinity) Score: 7.5 Comments: gilded 21. These colors are beautiful and well matched, and Trinity looks great in them. This isn't a super cocktail look though. It's not as bad as some though. With the tiara this just feels like some upper class girl turning 21 and going out to celebrate all night. Already had a few drinks so she's taken a seat to avoid wobbling as she moved around or danced. Feels like more intense drinking than cocktails usually are. Also, just a little thing? But there are plenty of examples and definitions of cocktail dresses, I have a hard time believing that googling didn't give her much direction.
RENstrawberry (Madison) Score: 7 Comments: boobs. I really love this avatar, and it's gorgeous. Love how Madison has a soft look about her, which is nice because her hairstyle can give her a lot of edge. Both challenges so far REN has worked well with the hair...though I think I would like to see it embraced more. BUT this doesn't really feel like a cocktail dress? Almost more of a...wedding guest look. Some kind of dance. Not really cocktail. So I'm conflicted. But beautifully balanced and colored and styled. Also I am incredibly aware of Madison's boobs, and the dress doesn't really match that emphasis.
Kiwi Cannoli (Brooke) Score: 8.5 Comments: This is a close runner up for favourite cocktail look and dress, I think if the dress was a little more interesting it would have topped Suicide's for me. Brooke looks stunning in these colors and the background is a beautiful balance of things. This is really gorgeous and lovely, different setting of cocktail than some of the others which is refreshing. Is it just the shadowing on my screen though, or are the legs the wrong skin tone? Between that off colorization and the volume of the skirt the bottom half feels heavy.
botticellus venus (Daphne) Score: 7 Comments: I love the Edison lights, I want the Edison lights, I can never remember the name of the Edison lights item. xD These colors are absolutely beautiful on Daphne, this is how to do pale on a pale model, accesories are spot on. Description gave me just about everything I wanted. But this is a gown, not a cocktail dress. This is a black tie affair gown to be worn to a long and fancy evening. This is the dress a sweet innocent girl wears in a James Bond movie that catches his eye while he's being super spy at some event, before he sleeps with her and scorns her and she becomes the villain in the next movie. Daphne is a beautiful sweet young thing, but I almost would have liked to see her at her villain stage. Especially if the villain wore a damn cocktail dress.

Challenge 2: Time for Drinks
I Have Given Up (Xoco) Score: 0 Comments: No entry. No reason.
Empress Ekko (Mia) Score: 8 Comments: It's simple, but stylish. It's cute, but a bit edgy. Most of all, this is a real cocktail dress! Honestly, I'm just so happy that this is a proper representation of the challenge that I'm willing to forgive the 'simple and cute' aspect. And in all honesty, it works for this model. Because of Mia's big hair, I think it's important to keep most of her garments on the simpler side. Love the black & white scheme as there's nothing classier.
DAVlD DUCHOVNY (Keran) Score: 6 Comments: Well this is pretty. The only problem is that out of all of the submissions, this one sticks out clearly as 'farthest from cocktail dress ever'. But it's better than some that didn't submit anything, I suppose. Besides the obvious, there are issues with little decorative bits that seem randomly placed, most notably the accents of white.
x_suicide_is_inevitable_x (Ebony) Score: 8.5 Comments: The Designers were given 5 days to enter their submission so I'm annoyed with Suicide's late submission. He had 7,200 minutes and he had to submit his at 7,201. If you have issues, get in the habit of posting early. Anyway ..... the design is actually gorgeous and even having used a train, it's still very clearly a cocktail dress. The colours compliment Ebony nicely and even the earrings and necklace are nice (not bulky like they're normally used). I don't hate the background, but I do wonder if it's necessary or if there could have been one that more suited the colours.
rnadotsuki (Iona) Score: 0 Comments: WITHDRAWN.
khionna (Veronica) Score: 7 Comments: The concept is great and I love the story that describes the garment. The armmod was the perfect one to use to convey the 'gossip girl' story and the background decor was used wisely. Khionna must pay close attention to finer details in the future, though. The left side of the hat is being eaten by Veronica's bangs, the red accents are not colour matched or balanced and the cyan neckpiece looks out of place.
Your Local Gay (Dita) Score: 6 Comments: Okay, can I give out a 10 just for using the term 'kiki'? Kidding ... The design is confusing in a couple of ways for me. First, it's hard to see the garment, so I can only assume it's a cocktail dress because we can see Dita's legs. That works in Gay's favour. The second issue is that it doesn't look like 'she's sipping tea and getting relaxed' at all. More like she about to pass out on the floor next to her empties because she drank her tears away. Lastly, the headband is a nasty accessory.
Pixelplays (Kate) Score: 6.5 Comments: I would have loved to see Kate is something dazzling. Because of that unique shade of red she has atop her head, it makes sense to use brighter colour schemes with her. However, this design isn't bad overall, owing largely due to the background. Without the background, this would be a girl in a dress and stockings with pretty earrings. I'm also not a fan of the handheld (cigar?). It makes the model's hands look like baseball gloves.
Princess of the Raindrops (Noelle) Score: 6.5 Comments: The background is unnecessary. I hate those legs (personal preference). The gloves and ... goggles(?) don't match. But it's not all around horrible. The purple is a good choice for Noelle and that fur coat is a nice addition as it adds a bit of class to the model.
Tink_Bel (Zahara) Score: 8 Comments: The silhouette of this design is spectacular. That crescent moon with the city in the background is ingenious. It gives us that 'nightlife' feel without going crazy. And I also love those thicker legs on our beautiful Zahara!! The design is simple looking, though it's easy to tell that layers have been added. Kudos. Like Wolf expressed above, it's is annoying to see so much of the same armmod, and Tink entered the garment to break the camel's back on that one so to speak. The description is also pretty lax. It's cute, but lacking in depth.
METTAT0N (Trinity) Score: 8 Comments: First thing's first, the colour scheme is gorgeous and the matching is on fleek! However, I wish Metta had tried going a little more casual and less glitz with the look. Especially the tiara, which gives off a 'it's my 21st birthday and I'm gonna get hammered!!' vibe.
RENstrawberry (Madison) Score: 7 Comments: I'm a little conflicted with this one. It is a beautiful number, but it doesn't exactly read 'cocktail' dress to me. It feels more like a gown, especially with the train touching the floor. However, the colour matching is great and the armmod was an excellent choice.
Kiwi Cannoli (Brooke) Score: 9 Comments: Oh, Brooke looks amazing in navy. Good choice from Kiwi. This is the 2nd challenge in a row that Kiwi has shown off great taste in colour. I also appreciate the lighter teal decor in the background that match the model's eyes. The most impressive thing about this is that it's a cocktail dress! The only thing I'm not a fan of is the dress itself. Because of it's width, it takes up a lot of creative space. I wish she layered skirts and tops to give depth.
botticellus venus (Daphne) Score: 6.5 Comments: Here's another cocktail dress that is clearly a gown. It's strayed far away from semi-formal, which hurt Venus' score. That being said, I do like the description and Daphne was dressed nicely. The pale colours of the dress enhance this pale beauty without washing her out. I'm not loving the flower headband though. Perhaps something plain would have sufficed.

Numero Dos
I Have Given Up (Xoco) Score: none. Comments: None entered to judge.
Empress Ekko (Mia) Score: 5 Comments: The dress, heels and headband remind me of a sexy French maid costume. With rhinestones. Add a black choker necklace and I would swear that was the look you were going for. The pieces all work together and are all elements of a cocktail ensemble but yet come off as not having any personality and thus boring. Mia does look sweet and cute and utterly forgettable unfortunately.
DAVlD DUCHOVNY (Keran) Score: 5.5 Comments: This outfit is all around a miss for me. That blush shawl is a gorgeous color on Keran but shy of her drink, I don’t see it anywhere else. I adore the gold top which also looks amazing with that pinkish hue. But why use a skirt another designer is using? I like the idea of using steampunk elements to toughen up the florals but I’m not sold on how it came out layering wise. And I don’t like anything in her hair. Why a Japanese-inspired floral piece (of two different types of flowers? And neither match the flowers in the skirt)? Too many elements compete and make the outfit look odd and the really good elements are too easily overlooked because of it.
x_suicide_is_inevitable_x (Ebony) Score: 8 Comments: Lol, always last minute. Ebony looks great. I love the base gown and the skirt with its purple sparkles. Honestly the shoes are too small for me to get a good look at them but they don’t look like generic heels and they match the purple well so kudos. The jewelry looks like a matching set you’d buy from a store – simple and elegant and tie the purple into the top half of her. I really don’t have any complaints with the outfit which while simple doesn’t feel simple to me. I am however not sold on the description. It ties the stars in nicely and they orange/gray work well with the colors of the dress, but it makes me think fancy lady on a ship. Not this is someone out at cocktail hour on a yacht.
rnadotsuki (Iona) Score: none Comments: They have withdrawn
khionna (Veronica) Score: 7.5 Comments: Great title, great description, great colors for the model, great use of a background that enhances an helps the outfit pop, and definitely a cocktail dress. But the bottom half of the design reminding me a lot of one of my outfits in my final collection as I have already pointed out ~ my cocktails at the cabana one. So the design didn’t feel terribly fresh to me see the same leg pose, almost the same shoes, a short skirt under the same black side skirt. And I used bubbles as my background which these circles also look a lot like. So it could be a total coincidence but idk.
Your Local Gay (Dita) Score: 6.5 Comments: Man I got a good laugh. She definitely looks like she has been hitting the cocktails a bit too hard. Creative for sure. I actually didn’t mind the blank speech bubbled. The bottles do obscure her outfit though, and I personally would have chosen a different head piece. This looks like an odd tiara. Or a super chunky headband. The colors work but the item looks clunky. And what is that color tied around her neck? Why is it there?
Pixelplays (Kate) Score: 6 Comments: I love the background. In fact I like the background more than I like the outfit or even the model in this scene. So that is a problem. Not being able to see her legs and the bottom art of the gown got marks off. I do love how the necklace layers with the cut of the top. The earrings were a miss and I wish there was more of an arm pose to go with that long cigarette. Her arms look boring next to a black dress and black legs (from what I can see between the bars). Earrings were meh for me. Her hair is hard to work with at times I am sure, so I like that the background has the window glow around her and how the glow interacts with her hair. I think the bottom part of the skirt has pink in it to offset the hair but I’m not really sure? Looks kind of like a coral pink rather than a raspberry? Again, can’t rally tell so I can’t tell if they enhance each other or clash a bit.
Princess of the Raindrops (Noelle) Score: 8 Comments: The short, daring dress, the sheer stockings (as indicated by the dark seem), the stilletos with the fur and leather gloves – man oh man this is a great look on Noelle. The background too is perfect tonally for the theme and for making the outfit stand out. I’m a little iffy on the shades but appreciate that they were addressed as to why they were added. And it is great how this scream “I’m here for a drink so get me that godd- drink” without there being a drink visible. And that was before I read the description at all.
Tink_Bel (Zahara) Score: 8.5 Comments: I was afraid she wouldn't get a chance to post. I'm glad she did as Zahara looks fab! The attitude of this one, the playfulness and the almost spilling drink - such fun. The tick legs and spikey heels I think are perfect. I'm not huge on the dress choice embellishment wise (color is great on Zahara), but it definitely is a cocktail dress and yes I do appreciate how well the dress fits the leg mod. Te background and headpiece were perfect for the design and while the same color scheme is used everywhere, the outfit doesn't look super matchy matchy which we all know I don't like.
METTAT0N (Trinity) Score: 6 Comments: It’s funny that ‘princess’ is mentioned in the description because that is exactly what I thought. The look really does say more royal affaire to me than cocktail hour. And I don’t think the crown was needed. I think the chandelier is nice and the skirt and necklace look great, so maybe a different chair and arm would make this design stronger. Trinity gets lost in the dress with a background that is of the same exact colors and is really busy. For example I almost didn’t spot the champagne glass as it blends with the chandelier so much. Focus on backgrounds that make your outfit pop, not blend.
RENstrawberry (Madison) Score: 7.5 Comments: My first thought was ‘pretty,’ and the outfit definitely has its own character which I like. The color is a good one on Madison, and I like how the dress does make me think cocktail with the cleavage and the short skirt (before the sheer skirt portion) plus the heels. I don’t think the layering is spot on, but that is the limitations of Gaia. The table was a great addition I think, as it helps me ground this outfit (at first she seemed odd in the white canvas pointing to the side. Now she looks like she is beckoning people to the wine). For me the sore spot is the skull in the floral headpiece. It doesn’t fit tonally for me and it wasn’t addressed in the description so I don’t know why this exact floral headpiece was chosen. – many others are extravagant and playful too. So why the skull?
Kiwi Cannoli (Brooke) Score: 7 Comments: Is this dress made up a bra top and two skirt pieces or is it one item? I feel like it is three but it looks like it is one so kudos on layering (since I now read the description and know you did work hard on it and it shows). The shoes match her hair but are pretty boring. I really wish Gaia had better hair clips, trust me I want them, but these look like she walked into a spider web to me. The necklace I found boring too. So good color on Brooke, great layering, accessories could have been better and while the background works, I think so items in it may have helped this feel more fresh rather than stilted.
botticellus venus (Daphne) Score: 8.5 Comments: I’m in love with this look and the background. The arm and chest bearing top part of the dress say cocktail hour to me (along with her glass of course) and I definitely wear long dresses to cocktail parties and drink meetups at bars all the time. So yes while this definitely looks like a gown, it doesn’t feel off to me. It is funny, because with the ivory and gold on Trinity, I felt she was almost washed out. Her I feel like Daphne’s skin glows with them and her eyes become striking with their color echoes in the belted part of the top and in some of the flowers in the skirt. The jewelry and florals make her look and feel ornate to me and make this design seem more complex that it is at first glance. And I like how the long skirt was addressed in the description as well as how to balance the model’s features.

Challenge 2: Time for Drinks
I Have Given Up (Xoco) Score: 0 Comments: I guess they really did GIVE UP. *ba dum tss*
Empress Ekko (Mia) Score: 5 Comments: First of all repeated arm mod, and by the time Ekko posted, said arm had already been repeated so this is dupe 3. It's just really uncreative. The black and white is nice, story is evident, avatar is more or less balanced, and the cocktail dress is a cocktail dress, but it would be generous to call this more than cute. I HATE the shoes. Not by themselves, but with the outfit because they draw her legs back so far and the rest of the outfit doesn't follow suit so she looks like she's already plastered and about to face-plant on the floor. I also really don't need anymore story-time from the entrants, they never say more than could be said in the descriptions already.
DAVlD DUCHOVNY (Keran) Score: 5.5 Comments: So the colors are stunning and the overall attempt is pretty, but lots of problems really drag the score. Repeated skirt and in doing so we've landed on "not a cocktail dress". The arm mod doesn't match because that's the wrong skin-tone. I even went to check the item to make sure it wasn't a case of Gaia mismatching, but no, DAVID used skin-tone C instead of D. The story DAVID tried to translate is weird and doesn't come through. The pocket watch doesn't match and that's a shame, because a more masculine look would have been SO creative. Pants under cocktail dresses is a style that is on the rise! A proper dress, a pair of tight pants, and that pocket watch would have been one heck of a look. I don't want to talk about the head piece.
x_suicide_is_inevitable_x (Ebony) Score: 7.5 Comments: Time is a factor for this one. He needs to get on it. One of the few without an armmod so I wish the background said bar to me, but it's not a huge deal. I love that this says cocktail without passing into ballroom like some of the others. The design is fluid, the accessories work and everything just looks like it belongs together. I wish the stories in the descriptions would shorten up or stop. Most of the point loss for me comes from that purple. It's too blue for Ebony's skin and hair, which lean more toward reddish purple. Other than that, this is a solid look.
rnadotsuki (Iona) Score: 0 Comments: Withdrawn.
khionna (Veronica) Score: 7 Comments: I'm going to be honest in saying I wish I could justify scoring this higher. At first glance this is one of my favorite entries because it is lovely and dynamic and the story behind it is clever and conveys well. And she's really in a cocktail dress! Unfortunately, upon inspection there are lots of little annoyances. The blue necklace, the hat being eaten by the hair, the earring on top of the hair, basically things that have all been pointed out already, but really hurt the look. A nice background would have added wonders to this as well.
Your Local Gay (Dita) Score: 7.5 Comments: They did a solid job explaining themselves even if the description ran a little long so I want to give them props for that. There was nothing in the rules that said they couldn't go for "plastered after cocktails" and since that comes across and was actually the intention, I'm not bumping points for it. I think the blues look great on Dita and her hair works with the idea of dancing all night and then flopping down. I can see leg so this is cocktail dress for me. On the downsides, I hates the speech bubbles because they add no substance and quite literally have nothing to say. Dita is sporting the same arm mod as Veronica so blah on creativity, but not as bad as the folks that used it yet more afterwards. That headpiece is just nope. But as a nice bonus I'm going to have the kiki song stuck in my head for days.
Pixelplays (Kate) Score: 4 Comments: I'm really unimpressed. They had an extension and I don't feel like they used their time wisely. 3 hours for a poem huh? Perhaps the design could have benefitted from those hours. The saying "don't put red on a redhead" is about true redheads, not cartoonish redheads, because the orangey color clashes with red. For Kate it looks fine, even somewhat elegant, and the greens in the background lend to the look as well. I'm more concerned about the harsh gold because that does clash, painfully. I hate the base hands. It's 2018 and I should never have to see those meat mittens. The dress and cigarette are stylish but I can barely see the rest of the outfit. Also the description is mostly apologies, excuses, and Pixel telling us how good it looks. I disagree.
Princess of the Raindrops (Noelle) Score: 8 Comments: I think the overall look is stylish, the stole and glasses and pantyhose really work on Noelle in general. I like that she's one of few that went drinking at a restaurant because that's a pretty common drinking spot the others mostly dodged. All that said, there are some matching issues. The sunglasses for one thing are pink and if they matched the dress I'd be fine with them, but right now they stand off too much. Mostly though, those legs look like they want to run off without the rest of the look. The problem is Princess chose a bunch of basic-shade items that block out color and shade at the edges, meanwhile the legs are detail shaded, with more fading shadows, and it makes them look like they don't match at all. I still I feel mostly positive about this look and it says cocktails without having to hold one.
Tink_Bel (Zahara) Score: 5.5 Comments: Ooph, I really feel like I'm going against the judge grain with this one, but I don't think this is Tink's best work. The first thing I thought when I saw this was "stripper". I don't think the dress coupled with the leg mod says cocktail hour, I think it says hooker. I don't like that I can see her panties, the dress is just way too short to not have something to balance it out. Then we've got catharsis AGAIN which looks great on Zahara so I'll give props there (in fact she looks better in it than the other models), but she's still the fourth person to make heavy use of it. Speaking of following trends, I could go the rest of my days without seeing that arm mod ever again. The cuffs on the ankles look out of place and there is an item cutter that removes them, so why are they still there? And finally, and this is a personal peeve, I hate when designers use tiny or giant legs on the model for a single look and not consistently. We're meant to view these models, as you know, models. So it's weird when the weight in their legs goes up and down from week to week. All that aside, it's still got a strong silhouette and the colors REALLY work so I can't begrudge Tink too bad a score.
METTAT0N (Trinity) Score: 7.5 Comments: Better than last week's by leaps and bounds. I love some catharsis and feel like it's well used here. METTA managed to make it the background, the main outfit, and the details without anything drowning. Unfortunately this does say more princess party to me than cocktail hour. Which, okay, princess's can have cocktails, but the dress + gloves + tights looks too dressed up to me and really doesn't feel fully on-theme. And I'm not thrilled about them sneaking in a blush via the nose.
RENstrawberry (Madison) Score: 8.5 Comments: First of all the colors are really gentle and pretty and I agree that this is a well-composed avatar. I love that Madison's dress and hair seem to flow together. I'm personally on the fence about this being a cocktail dress or not. I have one that's similar irl (complete with titty window xd ), that is in fact a cocktail dress. But the real distinction between that dress and this pixel one is the material. Form-fitting cocktail dresses tend to be made from silk and slinky fabrics, while loose-fitting ones lean toward broad cloth or heavy satin. While that's not ALWAYS the case, what I'm getting at is this chiffon/translucent appearance is what really keeps this from being the right style of dress for me. On a briefer note, while it wasn't required, I hate that she's the only one without a bar scene or a drink in her hand. She could be anywhere doing anything. Never mind, just saw she added a table. Also, unnecessary avatar story makes description unnecessarily long. Seeing the other entires just makes me like this one more, dress qualifying or not.
Kiwi Cannoli (Brooke) Score: 9.5 Comments: This one is another instance where I liked it more after I saw other entries. There wasn't much wrong with it to begin with, but after seeing off-theme and messy I just longed to return to the elegant simplicity of this look. Kiwi understands color and it's very clear on Brooke as it was on Kate last round. She looks like she's giving a toast so the story is there, description is clear without dragging on. The dress (which is cocktail!) is made of multiple items so the cohesion is even more impressive. Everything here just works for me and while originally I found the simplicity lacking, I now find it refreshing. The only thing keeping this from a solid ten is the leg mod. It's shaded heavily so, like the issue with Noelle and Princess, it looks like they don't match despite being the proper tone.
botticellus venus (Daphne) Score: 5 Comments: Description is long-winded, but detailed. Colors are pretty, but a little tired. The dress looks good on Daphne, but it's the wrong style. Background is wonderful, but arm mod is the wrong skin-tone. Overall look is sophisticated, but I hate the nose. HATE IT. So basically, for every positive there is an equal and opposite negative. Middle-of the road score from me.

Alesaan The_Slytherin_Goddess Sorry for the delay, peeps!
I am dying rofl Blarg about work though. Long hours are no fun. I deleted this post because it interrupted the flow of the posting order. Forgive my OCD and micromanagement!! I beg of you!!!!

Hey guys! So, we got a request for an extension from PixelPlays and it has been granted, so they now have until midnight on Friday to get their entry in for it to still be considered.
Also decided that if more entries do not arrive by midnight tomorrow, the challenge as a whole will be extended until midnight on Friday, with those designers that submitted looks on time getting a point or half point bonus to their score. Haven't decided the amount for sure yet, but I want to reward people for getting things in on time. Especially when designers had the weekend to work on things. And normally I wouldn't extend things, but since there have been so few entries it just doesn't really seem worth it to judge yet, you know?
tl;dr : PixelPlays has an extension until Friday, whole challenge gets extended if the majority of the designers haven't turned in submissions by tomorrow.

bad wolf bae tl;dr : PixelPlays has an extension until Friday, whole challenge gets extended if the majority of the designers haven't turned in submissions by tomorrow. I think it's a good idea to extend it if it happens that no more people turn in on time. And, for those on time, I'm down for point boosters or maybe some form of advantage for next challenge? I wish they'd turn the work in though, they've had the time.
