While the two were looking around in the tall grass, both of them heard a bark. "Oh boy Minor you here that? Our first encounter!" The little girl said excitedly while the Minior gave a scared giggle. Soon enough a Poochyena popped out and was set to battle. Minior was startled when it popped out as it was shaking. "Alright Minior your first battle, use Swi-" Before she could tell the little meteor what to do, she noticed that Minior was starting to cry out of fear.
Poochyena looked at it confused as it inhaled and let out a big Roar. Minior started crying even more as it ran off. "W-Wait Minior!? Minior it's okay! Come back!" She shouted as she started chasing after it.
The boy moved along down the path that he found, making sure that his Litten was close behind. "Mrrrowr..." The cat spoke up.
"What's the matter, Litten? Come on, the exercise would be real good for the both of us. And this place looks real nice, unlike that cave from last time." Tristen said to his cat. This doesn't really get any response from Litten, not really giving any mind. "You're impossible." The boy then said.
"Mrrrr..." Tristen only rolled his eyes from the cat's response.
The boy continued on until something graced his hearing once more. "...?" From nearby exotic shrubbery, a Poochyena came out and started barking at the two of them. This one was anxious for a fight. Litten reared back, giving a hiss back towards the Poochyena.
"Yea, I don't think he's going to wanna leave us alone." Tristen said. The Poochyena rushed in, tackling the cat and starts clamping down with its Bite attack upon the cat. The Litten screeched, flailing about until it managed to escape its grasp. "Litten, are you okay!?"
"Rrrrooowrrr!" Litten hissed out.
"Litten! Fire Fang!"
The Litten rushed forward, retaliating upon the dark hound, and bites down itself. However, unlike the mutt's, this came with a few embers that seemed down with the bite itself. The Poochyena yelped out, quickly scurrying away from Litten. However, it quickly made a hard u-turn and charged full speed ahead, smashing into the Litten with a hard Tackle attack.
"Geez, the Poochyena doesn't know how to quit!" Tristen said. The cat tumbled after the impact a bit, managing to quickly snap back to its feet. "Litten! Use Ember!" Tristen shouted. The cat hopped back and unleashed a flurry of embers upon the hound, pelting it with the searing flames. Another yelp came out of the hound. The hound looked down on itself, grimacing pretty hard, taking notice that it got a nasty burn. The Poochyena hobbled off, not wanting any more of the battle.
Litten started to rush after the dog. "Litten! Stop there! Let him go."
"Mrroww mrrrrowww."
"And we'll deal with that if he does. He's gone now. Let him go." The cat looked back for a moment then trotted off back for Tristen. "Come on, let's see what else is in this place."
The Safari Ball broke apart almost immediately. "Wow, I really underestimated you, huh?" Keiko said with a smile. "Okay, try a bit harder, Azure! Ice Beam!"
Azure charged Ice-type energy in front of her, but Bonusweet wasn't going to wait around to be attacked. She created leaves out of Grass-type energy and used Magical Leaf to fling them at Azure, who had a time of dodging. Fortunately, she had enough time to regain her composure after dodging, making sure her aim was right before letting Ice Beam fire.
Bonusweet wasn't able to dodge in time and got a face full of Ice Beam. It didn't get frozen, but it couldn't have felt good. Keiko held on to her second Safari Ball while watching Bonusweet recover slowly from that move. "Hm... no, not yet. Azure, it should be able to take one more Ice Beam, so go ahead!"
Azure DID know Blizzard, but Keiko didn't want to risk knocking it out, let alone Azure putting that much energy in a move only for it to miss. Blizzard wasn't the most accurate of moves, after all. Bonusweet was done with having its sleep interrupted, however, and dragged Azure into a Play Rough. While it was tough to charge energy while being beat down with a Fairy-type attack, Azure managed to blast Bonusweet at close range.
"Please don't faint," Keiko murmured as she threw her second Safari Ball.

As Wren began to move away from the watering system where he'd found Carnivine, he heard a soft rustling in the underbrush from somewhere close to the desert proper. Here in the Oasis, the shade and water wasn't the most appealing to a lot of the desert dwelling Pokemon but some might wander in from time to time. As he got closer to the desert's edge, though, he spotted the source of the sound. A tiny little mouse was trying to snuggle up and snooze.
"Aww... It's actually kind of cute..." He said to himself as Hyacinth hovered over his shoulder.
"Bébé?"She asked, looking between Wren and the small Cyndaquil. She couldn't recall ever having seen one before but it didn't look all that cute to her. She was far more adorable than it, she felt sure. Although she couldn't deny it was certainly more physically appealing than the flytrap that had tried to eat her not but a few minutes ago.
"Quil?" The Fire Mouse Pokemon yawned slightly as it sat up, looking up through it's heavily lidded eyes to see a human looming over it. "Cynda!!!" It exclaimed, startled by the sudden presence. Without even thinking, the diminutive Pokemon shot a few Embers from it's mouth at the human and jumped backwards.
"Whoa!" Wren yelped and staggered backward, trying to keeping himself from getting burned at first and then from falling over afterwards.
"Bébé!" Hyacinth exclaimed as she jumped forward and shot a Dazzling Gleam at the Cyndaquil. The Fire-type was hardly affected and retaliated with a Swift, star-shaped beams of Normal-type energy flying through the air to strike at the Flabébé.
"Petal Blizzard!" Wren exclaimed. The swirling vortex of flower petals and wind was conjured up in no time at all, swallowing up the Swift and sending the stars circling around Hyacinth even as they pressed inward, homing in on her continuously. Cyndaquil even got caught up in the whirlwind and yanked into the air. The flower petals filling the pink whorl sliced at the Fire Mouse from all angles but their power wasn't enough to really hurt it much.
By the time the attack had ended, the Swift had closed in and was covering the final bits of distance in a wild concentric path, still racing in increasingly tighter circles. In an effort to cage the Single Bloom Pokemon in and try to finish off it's attackers, Cyndaquil's body began to shine with bright red light as it raced toward Hyacinth, flames pouring off of it's body and it prepared for a massive attack. Burning Up it's inner flame, the Fire Mouse unleashed a hellish inferno around itself, intending to consume Hyacinth entirely while it still attempted to escape the Swift.
"Psychic!" Wren exclaimed, recalling that she had been capable of using the move before. Nodding and unleashing a wave of Psionic energy straight down, Hyacinth managed to use the wall of mental force to push the flames away and around herself but she was hit by the Swift at last when she stopped attempting to keep them at bay. She staggered in the air for a moment afterward as Cyndaquil heaved a heavy breath.
Wren pulled a Safari Ball from his pocket and threw it at the tiny Fire-type, afraid that it would either kill Hyacinth or work itself to death from exhaustion attempting to fight her.
When the ball successfully contained the small Fire-type, Wren heaved a sigh of relief and pulled the other one from his pocket to replace. Once he had Cyndaquil securely in his pocket, he'd release Carnivine back into the wild with a warning not to try coming back after him and his partner for at least a while. Carnivine didn't object.

Ulla held the Minior in her arm's who was still crying. "Minior it's okay, I understand your still scared. But I will be here for you until you grow stronger okay?" Minor started to calm down. He then started to shake his body to wipe his tears. He got out of her grasp as he started floating around with a little more confidence. Both of them then heard rustling as a Carnivine popped out.
"Alright Minior. Let's try this one more time! Swift let's go!" Minor spun his body as little stars started flying right at the Carnivine. Carnivine took sprung forward to go for a bite. "Quickly use Confuse Ray!" Minior then shot out a beam that was swirling as the Carnivine became confused. "Let's try this out now. Go Pokeball!" The little girl shouted as she threw a Safari Ball.

Ulla watched as the Pokeball shake several times as Minior floated over the Pokeball to watch it as well. They both then heard a click from the Pokeball. Minior was shocked as Ulla quickly picked up the Pokeball and the Minior. "We did it Minior! YOU did it! I'm so proud of you!" She said as she put the Pokeball in her bag. Minior had a crack in it's shell as it's light blue tone started to show a little. "Why don't we look around one more time and call it a day?"
Tristen continued on down the path and started to take notice of the more serene parts of this Oasis. He approached a small pool of water, looking on across the waters and felt a little relieved. He almost forgot about why he was here as he looked on. Tristen then took notice...an odd odor was in the air. "What's......that..." It smelled kind of sweet. The boy looked around then looked back, seeing his Litten virtually smitten by a Bounsweet while he wasn't looking. It was like Litten gotten a hefty whiff of catnip; overtaken by the smell as it rubbed his head up against the round Pokemon and had its front legs practically wrapped around the grass type. Typical cat...
Tristen facepalmed at what he was looking at. "Litten! It's using Sweet Scent! Get away from that!" Tristen shouted. ".....Ember? Fire Fang? Something!?" Still ignored. Tristen sighed, walking over, snatching the cat up by the scruff of his neck then shouted at the Bounsweet. "GO!" The Boundsweet hobbled off, much to the disappointment, followed by disdain of Litten. "You'll thank me later." Tristen said. Tristen put the Litten back down. That could have been a battle, perhaps an easy one at that. This Litten was going to be difficult.
Tristen went back walking off before the cat decided to get a little too affectionate with another Bounsweet. "Really, Litten, why don't you like coming out to places like this? This place was a lot better than that cave, and I got you out from that volcanic area which probably was unsafe anyways! Especially with all those Drampa..." Tristen said, recalling those dragons that even gave Magmar a run for his money, even barring the Shadow status. It made the boy cringe a bit; a sentiment that Litten didn't particularly care to share.
Tristen made his way on a path and looked on, trying to make sure that no area was not uncovered. As he started to push his way through some brush he felt his foot brush up against something. "Hmm? What the...?" Tristen started to move about, trying to see what he felt that was out of the ordinary.
"EX EGG CUTE!" Voices spoke in unison. Tristen jumped back instantly out of fright, just managing to avoid a burst of Stun Spore that came up out of the brush.
Out from the brush only a few seconds later, an Exeggcute came out of the brush, not too thrilled. "Uh oh...Litten?" Tristen looked back towards Litten, who was apparently curling up to take a nap. ".......come on! LITTEN!" The cat jumped, seeing the Exeggcute then started to get ready. As the Litten done so, the Exeggcute fired a bullet seed towards Tristen and Litten, making Tristen back off. Litten stood his ground, but the damage was rather nill. "Litten! Ember!" Tristen shouted.
Litten fired off its searing shots towards the Exeggcute, causing pretty harsh damage. The Exeggcute started to panic from the burning embers that fell upon it, then started firing off from each of the tops of its head various projectiles, a powerful Barrage. The Litten yelped out as the shots started to rain down upon the cat; it was a more painful shot than the bullet seed prior.
"Litten! Use Bite!" Tristen shouted. The cat rushed out of the Barrage and pounces the center egg, chomping down upon the egg shaped Pokemon, causing considerable damage to the egg. The bunch started to group upon each other to squeeze the cat in and toss the cat off as they flailed about. The Exeggcute then screeched out, causing such an Uproar, making the cat fold his ears back and Tristen grimace, clasping his hands up against his ears.
"Ember again! Stop that Exeggcute!" The cat unleashed another ember flurry, pelting the bunch and finally took it down. "I didn't think that an Exeggcute could take so much...come on, before we find any more like that."
As Tristen started to go about, he stopped for a moment then stepped back immediately upon what he saw. A Sigilyph. "Blizz has one of those and it's pretty strong...in its own...weird way...I...don't think we should mess with that one, Litten. You might have a hard time against it."
"Rrrrrowr..." The cat spoke.
The two slowly backed away, trying to make sure it doesn't catch the mysterious Pokemon's attention and started to find a way around.

"Look at that; it's a Litleo. It looks mad; Riolu, get ready for a fight."
Riolu appears out of it's pokeball with a grin on it's face. With a ready stance it's hype for the battle. The Litleo starts off with a Wild charge, it builds up electricity and charges forward. Riolu stands there waiting for it's opponent to get closer. waiting, and suddenly "Riolu now! Zen headbutt!" Jumping forward than bowing his head; Riolu stands there with focused power.
Litleo collides with a direct hit, and pushes Riolu back, "Shake it off Riolu, you got this!" Riolu looks up to see Litleo firing a flamethrower at him, Riolu quickly used Rocktomb, making a shield against the oncoming flames. "Great, job Riolu! Breaking out with strength Riolu reappears only to be met by a Litleo with flaming jawline. Landing onto of Riolu, Litleo bites down with flames raging. "RIOLU!" Riolu grabbed Litleo and sent it flying with Circle throw.
"Well that's one way to end a battle i guess, Great job none the less. Are you okay buddy?" Riolu looked up at Arkelos and than it's shoulder, slightly singed, but not severely it looks back up and smiles. "Let's be more careful buddy." He said looking down at his pokemon. "Let's see what else we can find, shall we?" Arkelos said with a laugh.

Keiko put Bonusweet's ball away and started walking away, eliciting a cry of concern from her Azurill. "Come on, Azure. We're gonna look around a bit more. I don't plan on catching anything else now that we have Bonusweet, but I do want to get you some more combat experience. I don't want you going the way of Siri," Keiko explained, remembering the Spritzee she traded for the Pokemon she traded for her Lapras.
Azure didn't know about that, so she wasn't sure who Siri was or what happened to her. Still, she obeyed her trainer and followed Keiko deeper into the grass.

Keiko was interrupted in her search by a Numel who responded to her intrusion by spitting embers at her feet. "Oh, this should be easy for you, Azure!"] Keiko said for a smile. Azure ran up in front of her trainer, and got a second helping of Numel's Ember for her trouble. "Don't hold back! Respond with Bubblebeam!"
Azure inhaled deeply before spewing a stream of bubbles at Numel that pushed the Camel Pokemon back, inflicting a decent amount of damage. Numel wasn't going to take that lightly, however, and responded in kind by shaking the ground with Magnitude.
"You can handle this fight with no problem, Azure! Dampen his spirits with Rain Dance!" Keiko shouted, getting into the spirit of battle. Azure started bouncing around in a pattern calling Water-type energy from the sky to summon clouds together, the condensation forming rain that pelted the Safari Zone... well, at least the area that Azure and Numel were in, anyway. Numel danced around a bit before slamming the ground with his paw, creating an orb of mud thanks to Rainy Day and coating it with energy before pushing it toward Azure ala Earth Power.
Azure wasn't able to dodge Numel's attack completely and did take some damage from it, but she was far from fainting. "Okay, now channel the mud you made and funnel your attack through it! Use Muddy Water!"
Keiko smartly reached for her Hoverboard and got on it while Azure was conjuring water from below ground. Before long, it erupted from the rain-soaked mud like a geyser, gathering around Azure before leaping at Numel as though to drown him. Numel's lungs were clear of water by the time Muddy Watter faltered, but given that the Fire/Ground Pokemon was practically dunked in a Water-type move, Numel didn't have any strength to battle with after that.
Keiko cheered and patted Azure before putting her Hoverboard away and getting an umbrella out. It would be another minute or two before the downpour Azure summoned would clear up.
Keiko and her Azurill continued for a while until running into a Spinda that was looking for a fight. It immediately engaged Azure with a thorough Thrashing. Worried, Keiko spoke up. "Use Substitute to make some space between you and Spinda!" she shouted. Azure nodded and created a tiny energy clone of herself, placed it on the ground, and leaped backwards, keeping the clone between Spinda and herself.
"Now use Attract to convince him to stop attacking you," Keiko ordered. Azure happily cooed sweetly in Pokespeak while using Normal-type energy to seduce Spinda. It seemed to work, but despite Spinda's newfound love for Azure, he continued thrashing about, destroying the Substitute clone in one hit. "Oh, no! Use Bounce to get some distance!" Keiko yelled. Azurill jumped on Spinda tail-first, coating her tail with Flying-type energy in mid-air then bouncing off her tail to leap away, The move damaged Spinda when she landed on him like that, but she largely used the momentum gained after the fact to her advantage, rather than the damage itself.
Thankfully, Spinda was done Thrashing at this point, but it didn't get confused from it, its Own Tempo ability preventing that. Instead, Spinda tried to use a different move, but Attract prevented that after Spinda resisted it for so long. "Now's our chance! Hit it hard with Scald, Azure!" Keiko cheered. Azure nodded, spewing boiling hot water from her mouth and soaking Spinda with it. Spinda ran around in a circle, trying to avoid the hot water, but was unsuccessful and suffered a burn for its trouble. The rain Azure summoned with Rain Dance subsided, so Spinda wasn't going to get any help with hits burn.
"I think we hurt it, Azure. Cool it down with Ice Beam, it should feel better after that," Keiko asked. Spinda was done messing with Azure, though, and charged in for a Double-Take as Attract wore off. Fortunately, Azure was done charging Ice Beam when Spinda leaped up to slam into her, and Spinda got a face full of Ice-type energy, ruining its momentum and causing it to fall back, wobbling dangerously.
"He's almost done, Azure. Punish him with Water Pulse!"Keiko cheered. Azure picked up the worn out Spinda with a bowl of water, expanding said bowl into a pulsating sphere that both trapped and assaulted Spinda. The wild Normal-type fainted before Water Pulse ran its course.
"Good job, Azure!" Keiko said happily. She then examined Azure. While she was getting worn out, Keiko felt like she had one more battle in her. Smiling, she carried Azure for the time being while looking for another Pokemon to battle.
