Mushroom Hell

[Nyx Queen of Darkness]

Sanctuary pulled out another bag after the latest oe ripped. The thorns in this area were quite sharp. She'd already had to pick out several from here leg.

Shiloh slithered up bring her latest contributions, three very nice sized mushrooms of a rarer variety. After giving them to Witness, she slithered up around her leg like a bracelet.

Epitaph woke up to a mushroom to the face. He opened his eyes to find a raccoon above him pelting him with a third and final mushroom before skittering away

Witness tugged her brother up out of the vines and brambles he'd crashed into. He had tons of scratches, but was mostly alright given the circumstances. "You allrights?" She flicked her tongue at him.

"Well enough, but I've thorns everywhere." He sighed tragically, but Witness just gigled before moving to his shoulder. With her teeth and long tongue it was easy to grasp the thorns there and extract them.

He stood perfectly still as Sanctuary put on a salve on any that seemed irritated or likely to get infection.

Thierry was pulling out the larger thorns that were weaved into his hair. It was a delicate process but at least he wasn't tender headed. In fact, he hadn't even realized that some of the thorns had pierced his skin. She motioned to Sanctuary for some salve.

Sanctuary came around to bring the salve when suddenly something hit her on the back of the head. It was that raccoon again! It threw two more at her but she dodged those easily. "I think they want us gone."

Shiloh slithered back down to gather the mushrooms that had been thrown. Despite the tossing they seemed to be in pretty good shape. While she was at it, she found another one--abnormally large, and added it to the bag.

Witness snapped up another mushroom to taste and as her siblings before her, she went down hard.

Shiloh on the other hand, delicately grabbed the offending mushrooms and took them far away. She was not sure how they ever stayed out of trouble without her!

Epitaph finally got all the thorns off of him with his sister''s help. There was one on the side of his foot that was very painful. He picked up a mushroom lying in plain sight.

Witness came to, and stretched lazily before getting up and digging beneath a log. Sanctuary wasn't sure why they all felt that it was fine to try what might be poisonous mushrooms.

Shiloh tired of having mushrooms thrown at her whipped one back fast into the raccoons head. It wasn't a lethal blow by any means but it was enough to stun it and knock it out of the tree.

Epitaph called out to the others when he found another large cache of mushrooms under a rotting log. He only picked the five largest ones and left the others to grow.
