	He gave Morpheus a smirk, "I don't find it weird at all. She seems to be quite friendly as well." Knowing full well she likely shouldn't have been quite so accepting of his help, but he genuinely was grateful for the assistance. He could easily play the guard while she slept, and Morpheus continued to snoop out mushrooms. While he was a bit lost in thought, he found his bag had managed to snag in the brambles again. taking count he sighed in relief, "Only lost two." Was today going to be a comedy of errors? Or were they going to perish out here searching for the rotten mushrooms for some stew? He grumbled and carried on, attempting some semblance of decorum, despite wondering what the unconscious mare was dreaming about. "Well, here's hoping our luck fairs better and we do get out of these creatures hair sooner than later." Mushrooms: 7 WC: 150

	What seems like an eternity to the others seemed like just yesterday as Kasumi slowly let her eyes flutter open. Her mind was clearly clouded as it spun vigorously deep within. Trying to focus she immediately tried to stand up nearly losing her balance. Just what exactly happened she wondered to herself as she laid eyes groggily on the other two, "Everything okay?" she asked in a deep haze. "I just had the weirdest dream. Is it morning already?" Now she babbled not even realizing how her questions sounded to either of them. Trying once more she staggered into a sway then got upon her feet finally. Now that her vision was clearing she noted that they were still within the thickness of the woods searching for those accused mushrooms. Now it clicked that everything wasn't a dream. "Hey, there's another log full over here". Morpheus scampered away from Spindra long enough to start collecting the accursed things again, "Oh and good morning sleeping beauty, "he grumbled with a squeak, "Next time don't eat the fermented mushroom. 	A mushroom lost and another gained. This was starting to look as though the hunt for these terrible things wasn't going to be nearly as quick as he'd hoped. But that did give him more time to get to know the lady he'd accompanied. At least he hoped it would. WC: 50 Mushrooms: 10

	Spindra had made so much noise that the creatures had literally performed a trick-taking a mushroom in tow. She groaned at the moment looking down into the sack then at Morpheus, "They keep this up we'll be at 0 in no time". It was a pure disappointment in her voice but she wasn't giving up on finding the last ones they needed. Morpheus chuckled to himself. These odd creatures were something else around here. Mushrooms: 10

	He started to get caught up in his thoughts, finding another mushroom, he felt less than triumphant. Mayhap they'd break even? WC: 20 Mushrooms: 10

	Morpheus scoped around hopping from log to log carefully not to find anything poisonous that Spindra may have gotten in her stomach again. Looking around he grinned ear to ear noting yet another log had produced those glorious five mushrooms they so badly needed. Spindra was over joyous that they just might finish this quest yet leaving the chance to the wind. Grabbing them eagerly she stuffed all five in the sack glancing around. hoping nothing else would go wrong. Mushrooms: 15

	He chuckled a little as he watched Spindra hastily gather several more of the mushrooms that were worth while to their task. She was quite cute as she did so. He sighed and plucked a single mushroom that looked like the others. Soon tedium would set in, he was sure of it. WC: 52 Mushroom: 16

	Spindra was laughing at their good fortune of Orzio until yet another creature, squirrel she presumed did that amazing trick pilfering yet another mushroom. The smaller mare groaned a bit loudly grabbing the sack protectively noting the final count. "I swear something is up with this forest Orzio". Moving forward she still clenched the sack in her teeth seeking out her companion, "Morpheus, Orazio. Found anymore?" The rat painted in ebony and crimson shook his head sadly, "No. These creatures though they are getting to be one heck of a handful." he paused with a flick of the ear, "Always that same squirrel and mouse".

	He held up the singular mushroom he'd found, giving them back the one that had gotten lost/stolen. Infuriating as it was, at least they were staying even. He continued to search, attempting to avoid another set of brambles. WC: 39 Mushroom: 15

	Morpheus this time found an awful batch of mushroom that made his head spin uncontrollably. Refusing to end up like Spindra he buried those things deep in the ground but, not before some of the slime had manifested on his once clean paws. Cleaning, as usual, himself in a daily matter he soon tasted the fermented mushrooms making him weave all over the place. "Gah" he announced falling over, "It got on my paws, didn't it?" Spindra frowned as her companion literally went into a haze dip dopping all over the place. She paused for a moment wondering if this is how she had acted apparently ingesting one of those foul things. "Oh Morpheius.." she sighed as her little friend fell over with his leg extended in the air. Mushroom: 12

	Orazio had turned just in time to see the rat pass out, causing him to tangle with another set of brambles. What was with their rotten luck so far? Was it simply meant they would be lost in the shadows of this rather unpleasant forest? Not that he'd mind being lost with Spindra, just....they could get lost somewhere far more pleasant. He scowled at the brambles. They were just trying to take a chunk out of him as well as steal their mushrooms. WC: 83

	As Spindra watched Morpheus start to recover she frowned towards Orzio losing some mushrooms thanks to those horrible brambles again. This quest essentially was becoming a nightmare for all of them. She sighed pawing the ground when she bumped a log that revealed 5 useable varieties of mushrooms for the soup. "Finally" she breathed with relief hoping this would start to tie up the quest of mushrooms in the annoying forest. Smiling she nodded to Orzio with confidence, "We can finish this.... and we will". Mushroom: 11

	He nodded to her, finish it. They'd be lucky if they didn't lose their sanity and start covering themselves in mud and pine needles before this debacle was over. He sighed and found another mushroom after the loss, they were back to where they'd been. Orazio felt like this amount of suffering was undue for a pair such as them, and though he silently trudged onward, his mind was awash with vicious denouncements for the forgemaster next he saw the foul creature who besot them with this aggravating task. WC: 89 MUSHROOM: 12

	Things once again were looking up for the trio with Orazio bringing them up once again in the count. Spindra held that confidence until she found herself in brambles once again. Panicking she heard that fateful tear in the sack groaning as two mushrooms tumbled into the darkness once again. Defeated she kicked a rock with her hoof then checked on Morpheus that was still resting from the fermented slime on his paws. "Can this get any worse?" she muttered hoping Orzio had a better handle on the situation. Mushroom: 10
