[Forge RP] What's this about mushrooms? (PRP for Sindi)

[Lunadriel]

Sindi wakes up to the sensation of being poked by the brambles. She startles and stands up quick, moving away from them. OH YEAH, THE MUSHROOMS! she thinks, but it's too late. She's already lost some of her stash. A good bit of it it would appear!!

Sindi sucks in her breath and holds it for a moment. UGH.. At this rate, she would be back to zero! Stupid mushrooms...

[Lunadriel]

Breathing out, Sindi gives herself a pep talk. They are just mushrooms. They can't hurt me. I got this! Even if it is getting dark now....and it's going to be even harder to find more mushrooms.... she flutters her eyes and rolls them as her pep talk turns out to be not a great self motivation. She felt this task was ridiculous. That forge master probably knew how hard it was to find these mushrooms! Now that you mention it, he did laugh!

Sindi frowned. She would show him! But doing exactly what he wanted...

She promptly finds another mushroom. "See, not so hard!" but it feels kind of gross. Taking a small nibble, to make sure it's not another slimy one, Sindi spits it out quickly. "EWW! So gross!" In the dark, she hadn't been sure if it was slimy or not. Sindi is overcome by a fog, and goes down for another nap.

As Sindi wakes up, she finds a couple extra mushrooms in a neat little pile. The woodland creatures had been watching her, and felt sorry for her. They left her a few mushrooms, hoping she would leave. Sindi places them in her rucksack, and sighs. She is hungry, and the air is getting cold.

Here she thought she would be home by now! Dragging her hooves, she continues on.

Mushroom count: 11  

[Lunadriel]

"Here mushroom, mushroom. Come on out, so I can turn you into soup!" she exclaimed as she kicked some leaves around in annoyance. The more annoyed she was, the more she would talk to herself.

Her stomach growled in protest at collecting food for someone else. She wondered what a good, non slimy mushroom would taste like?

A few night owls hooted at her. They had heard about those seeking mushrooms. They didn't like the noise and wanted their peaceful night silence. One flew down, and dropped a couple of mushrooms in front of her.

The hungry Sindi looked at them. "Tempting..." she really wanted to just eat them and leave! Forget the forge master. She was hungry!

Mushroom count: 14  

[Lunadriel]

Sindi counted out her mushrooms. 14. How many did he want again? 20? Had she not lost any mushrooms, she'd have them by now!! More than half of what she needed, but it didn't seem like she was close to her goal at all. Not with the way things had been going for her! She had every right to be concerned. More brambles were in her path! Sindi grabs a fallen branch, and whacks at them. It does nothing, and she still gets scratched as she walks through them. Where the heck did all these brambles come from anyways?! They didn't grow at all in her forest home!! Ridiculous. She doesn't even check her pack to see if she lost mushrooms. She just assumes, yes, yes she lost some. And in fact, she had.

Sindi caves into her hunger. Popping one of the mushrooms into her mouth happily, she chews it. She's so hungry, she doesn't realize how awful it tastes. She smacks her mouth at the after taste. Oh no...

NAPTIME!

Sindi's nap is much longer this time. Since she ate way more of the slimy mushroom than she should have. She wakes up flustered, collects her mushrooms, not even realizing there's a new one in the bunch. She's halfway. Again.

Mushroom count: 10

Sindi is getting careless. In her frustration, she mumbles some not-so-nice words about the forge master, and eats a few more mushrooms. It would appear she never had all good mushrooms in the first place. She passes out again. Probably in some brambles, or near some angry critters. emo

Mushroom count: 7  

[Lunadriel]

When Sindi wakes up this time, she's done picking up her sack, she marches through the dark woods. She planned on tossing these mushrooms at the forge master, and telling him to go pick them himself!!

Mushroom count: 8

Sindi comes back across one of the brambles patch, and doesn't even care. She marches through it haphazardly.

Mushroom count: 6

Sindi has obviously lost site of the bigger picture. In her rage, she stomps through more brambles, and is almost left with an empty bag.

Mushroom count: 4  

[Lunadriel]

Seeing another woodland creature, Sindi plucks a mushroom out of her bag, and tosses it at him. "Have it! I don't even care anymore!" the poor creature startles, but takes the mushroom and darts away.

Mushroom count: 3 el oh el

Sindi trips over some brambles in the dark. Seriously?! She just wanted to be out of the forest anymore. Her bag is now left with one mushroom.

Mushroom count: 1!  

[Lunadriel]

Sindi was nearing the edge of the forest. This task was apparently not one this mini was cut out for. She didn't have the patience to go foraging for a stranger as it turned out.

As she nears the edge, the same squirrels dash out and take her sack, with it's one lone mushroom.

"I don't even care! Take it! It's yours!" she yells after them, sticking out her tongue. She was going to go home, and not mention any of this to anyone!!!

Mushroom count, zero. Bwahahahahaha.  

[Lunadriel]

Sindi gets out of the forest, and is about to leave, when she remembers her purpose! Shiny, sharp, steel.

Whining to herself, She sucks it up, and heads back into the forest one more time. This time, she'd get them for sure! But wait, she would need a new ruck sack.... Sheepishly, she gets a new one, then heads back in.

This time, she would not let her emotions get the best of her.

She see's the same squirrels and shakes the bag at them. "It's empty, so there's nothing for you to take!!" she exclaims and marches on.
