Marcus gets to his feet as Jay stumbles back to the ropes. Marcus advances forward and looks to whip him across the ring, then catch him on the rebound with a clothesline

From one side to the other, the Eclipse was whipped. On the rebound, he could see the clothesline coming and would find himself taking it and going right down to the mat, nearly neck first. Not a comfortable landing or a good way to have an in-ring return.

Marcus has an opening here, and he isn't the type to go for the long match. As good ol JR might say, he doesn't get paid by the hour. As such, he backs to the corner and crouches down. He waits for for the Eclipse to make his way up to charge in for a spear

After a few seconds to regain himself, the eclipse began to pick himself back up. Up to his knees, he saw Marcus in the corner prepped up and soon taking off for what could be a final blow. The reaction of the knock-out artist would be quick enough to step up into the charge and try to blast the man with a shining wizard variant knee.

Marcus charges forward, his intentions clear to the fans that have watched since his debut, but is clocked with a knee, staggering him to the side and back a few steps

Up on a knee now, Jay's eyes were locked on his opponent that had staggered back from the impact. It wasn't enough to bring him down, but it was enough to jump start that fire within. Up to his feet, the Eclipse would make his move over to Marcus to grab him by the back of his neck to force pull him along and shove him front-first into the corner.

Marcus is just dazed enough for Jay to pull him yo the corner and slam hos face into the turnbuckle. With this he turns and leans his back against the buckle, needing no further attacks from behind

An advantage point he needed, but it wouldn't be enough. Oh no, it wouldn't be enough. A shake of his right arm, he would draw it forward just a bit before motioning a gun, between the eyes of Marcus, before a quick rotation and dropping low to plant a spinning back elbow into the stomach of his opponent.

Marcus is a bit off balance here, as Jay unpredictably switches to a lower shot, a back elbow striking Marcus in the gut. Grabbing the ropes enables him to remain on his feet, but that doesn't make taking a breath any easier as the former World champion has definitely knocked the air out of him

The elbow on point, the eclipse glanced up to the man hanging on by the ropes. With the match flowing more to his wanted pace, he felt an eeeie comfort. Someone known for fast offense with high risk, he was keeping to the ground and playing it steady. Spinning back to face his opponent, hands would reach to grab Marcus by the head and right after some shots with muai tai knees would aim for his skull

Marcus may seem to be at the mercy of the Eclipse, especially as the first knee comes at him. He gets a hand up to lessen the impact a bit, but he needs to get free. He looks to grab Jay by the waist and lift him up to drop him towards the center of the ring

It wasn’t long enough for his strikes, but each blow would count as jay was hoisted and tossed off. He landed on his feet with a bit of a hip after to steady his balance. Up-straight, the Eclipse would make a Motion for Marcus to come at him once more. An eager smirk, perhaps a touch of madness..

Marcus comes forward alright, not needing any provocation as he swings his boot up, aiming to kick Jay in the gut to double him over

A kick that would hunch the eclipse over, he had stepped forward for his own shot prior. A gasp for air but a smile still present.

Marcus hadn't attacked without a plan. With the Eclipse doubled over, he looks to catch him in a front facelock as he attempts to lift him for a Jackhammer slam
