A sigh escaped the feline as he walked into the Nightshade club after uttering 'Elysium' at the gate and pushed his shades up on top of his head between his ears. Even though his demon blood allowed him to walk in the sunlight, turned into a vampire had made his eyes sensitive to sunlight even so. Not as bad as you'd expect from most vampires, but it was still uncomfortable, so he had added the shades to his equipment. He looked around but didn't see anyone interesting as of yet. So far Soleil had come off as utterly boring but he at least had plenty of targets here to take some of their blood. That and the added boon that his Liege wouldn't look for him here was what made Darragh linger in this sleepy place. Nightshade was about the liveliest he had seen all over Soleil.
And even that was subdued. The seemingly young man walked up to the bar and waited to be able to order. It didn't take long since there weren't many people about at this moment. "A double whiskey please." he requested and paid up front. It wasn't like he needed to worry about getting drunk anyway. While he waited he was bumped into by someone and he hissed at them with his ears pinned back, grinning when they scrambled to make room. It was good to be a feline, people were weary of your claws and canines. When he got his whiskey he walked around a bit until he found a table not far from the arena below them and sat down, waiting for a fight to start, if any would. They hadn't last time.

Darragh yawned a bit and stretched himself. He was back at the Nightshade again but the place seemed rather slow. He hadn't seen one fight since he was inside for the first time. Not to mention not many people seemed to come in either. Right now he had just stepped outside for some fresh air and he sighed. This place seemed rather dull so far. But the promise of fights was what drew the demon back every time again. And their drinks were good too. Especially in between feedings. The feline groaned a bit and rubbed his face. It was pretty warm inside that was for sure. And the fact that this place poured alcoholic beverages made this an easy hunting ground for the vampire as well. All he needed was one careless drunk.
Granted most vampires didn't like blood of drunks, but the vampire had developed a taste for what the people seemed to call cocktails. Even if it had no effect on him whatsoever. As he stepped into the light of the moon it could easily be seen he was wearing skinny jeans that looked heavily used and were a faded blue. It was his favorite jeans. On top of that he was wearing a black shirt, a band with some symbols on it, though they were just decorative, on his right wrist and he wore black casual sneakers. With a glance back at the door, Darragh shook his head and pushed off, jumping on top of the wall and sat down on it as he let the somewhat cooler air draft over him.
From this position he had a good view on the path towards the club, though he was visible too. Not that it really mattered. The feline put his hand in his pocket of his jeans and pulled out a package of cigarettes. It effected him as little as cocktails did but it did help him to fit in like a 'normal' person, albeit with ears and a tail, and he had to admit the smokey taste reminded him of something familiar. Like something from home. Though it was way to long ago for him to remember. After lighting it he put the package back in his pocket, reclined on the wall with one hand under his head and he quietly enjoyed his smoke while he would wait to see if anyone interesting would come to visit this boring venue. Perhaps he would be lucky today at least.
Their time in Soleil had been short, the siblings still adjusting to their new life. Though, Talon seemed to have adjusted much better then his sister, having even made a friend that he went to see often. She wasn't jealous, not at all, glad that her brother wasn't lazying around the house. But, it meant that she needed to find something to do with her time then look for work. She'd been rather pent up too, wishing that there was somewhere that she could use her fists to get out all of the emotions boiling from within. The Gym was one option, but it didn't stay open long and well.. she wanted to see blood, wanted to punch and kick and feel that thrill of knocking someone off of their feet and claiming her victory.
Word on the street was that there was somewhere she could do so, but the only issue was that there was a password she needed just to get inside. None of the people she had heard talking about it seemed to want to share this password, so she was stuck. Still, she found herself wandering down the streets and heading to where this hidden entrance into Nightshade was said to be. An illegal fight club was just what the Griffin needed right now.
Pulling her jacket tight around her to block out any chill, she caught the scent of cigarette smoke. Lifting her head, her face scrunched up in distaste as she followed the scent until she spotted a figure seated up on a nearby wall. Her eyes looked him over, wondering if he would be able to tell her of the place she was looking for, if he would be just like the others. Stopping to stand within his line of sight, the young woman crossed her arms under her chest, raising an eyebrow as she gazed up at him, making it very obvious that she was looking at him. "Hey.." She called out to him, trying to catch his attention if she didn't already.
Usually, Lyra wasn't one to try and start up conversation or bring attention to herself. Not unless it had to do with a fight, in which case, she was usually the first to try and throw hands just to feel that thrill. But, if she wanted to find this place, she was going to have to step out of comfort so that she could get help in finding it. Hopefully, the creature before her would be willing.. or at least knew of the place. "I'm looking for somewhere, said to be around here.." She continued to speak, motioning to the street they were located.
OOC: Hope this is alright. If to much let me know xD Potential fighter, Darragh approves. If she isn't though...oh well. It was a possibility lol

The feline was looking up at the sky above. The night was always so peaceful. As much as Darragh liked action, he couldn't deny the beauty and allure of the night. Perhaps it was because of his vampiric state or the fact that he was a nekojin or demon and perhaps it was all three. Whatever it was, the male enjoyed this time of day best. He was just getting another take in from his cigarette when a voice rang out nearby. Darragh's ears perked a bit and twitched before he looked over towards the source of the sound, blowing out the smoke up in the sky, moving into a sitting position with one knee up and leaning on it, as he took in the person before him. It seemed like he was just staring perhaps, but in truth he was making a small evaluation if the creature before him was even worth his time and attention.
Or at least as far as he could find out from a distance and first impression. The feline knew all to well how deceiving glances could be. Her physique looked pretty strong and her taste for clothing had some sporty air about it. As the demon took note of this he smirked a bit and shrugged before getting up and jumping off the wall straight to the ground. This person looked like someone that was fit at the very least. If she was looking for Nightshade it would probably not be for the drinks and this alley was to dangerous for weak little girls. Which left a very intriguing option open. The feline dropped his cigarette and put it out before walking to the girl. "Ah, I'm assuming you are looking for Nightshade. No business coming to this dark alleyway, all alone, otherwise." he said almost with a purr.
Perhaps he would finally get to see some action here. While he spoke he looked at her up close before flashing a smile, revealing his feline fangs after approving of what he saw. Of course he was just guessing here, but there really was very few reasons to venture this close to what could be a very dangerous area. Darragh could know, having trapped some of his victims right here because it was dark and easy to go unseen. Especially when they were under his trance. "Oh, very well." he said with a playful sigh, someone already told her obviously. So he wouldn't break the waiver. "It is right there." he said and motioned to the entrance which looked like a wall until you opened it. For now the feline would play a role until he would know more about this person and as a sign of 'good faith' he pointed at the wall and went ahead of her to the entrance.
At the wall he did the knocking routine of two quick knocks, pause, one other knock and the wall revealed the entrance to the nightclub. Darragh looked back to the newcomer, to see if she had followed him or not. If she was further away he would gesture for her to come closer but if she was close he would lean in a bit and grin. "The password is Elysium. Tell it to the guard up ahead." he said whispering and stepped aside crossing his arms and jerking his head towards the lit up hall ahead to let her walk in ahead of him. The feline wasn't sure if the guard would let her in if she didn't give the password herself. Darragh himself was now so well known they no longer even asked it as they recognized him as a regular.
Feeling his eyes on her, it seemed like he was hesitating on giving her an answer. She could almost figure why he would have been hesitant though, as they were located next to a dark alleyway and she was asking for a location without giving the specifics of where she was looking for exactly. Ears giving a flicker from where they hung, her dual colored eyes watched as he jumped down from the wall and began to approach her. Putting out his cigarette, she wasn't sure how she liked the purr to his words when he mentioned her being out here alone. Her gaze was more hostile, arms crossed as she waited to see if he would show her the place she was looking for, or if she possibly needed to kick his a** if he tried to make any kind of moves towards her.
Nodding her head, she stood her ground as he continued to advance on her. If he did anything to piss her off, she was going to deck him with no further questions asked. But, finally, he smiled. Hearing him give a playful sigh, he motioned towards what looked like a wall as he told her that the entrance to Nightshade was there. Looking dumbfounded, Lyra pushed past him. "You better not be screwing around with me." She murmured as she walked further into the alley. He moved ahead of her, walking up to the wall where he gave it a sequence of knocks. Her eyebrow raised, watching as the wall opened after the third knock.
Okay, so maybe he wasn't screwing with her. Shoulders beginning to relax, she moved closer once he had motioned for her to follow him inside. Shivering when he told her that there was going to be a password that she had to provide a guard up ahead, she stared at him for a few minutes before nodding her head slowly. "Alright.." As she moved further in ahead, she found herself glancing back towards the unnamed feline, wondering if he was going to come inside the Club or if he was going to go back outside.
Shaking her head, it really wasn't any of her business if he wanted to witness her fight or not, she was just thankful that he had gotten her this far. Walking up to the guard that he had mentioned, she felt the judging look as the man looked her from head to toe, before grunting as he seemed to be obviously waiting for something. "Elysium." She repeated the word that she had been given. When the guard didn't move at first, she was about to turn to the feline and snap that he had given her the wrong password, but then, the man was moving aside and gesturing for her to enter.
Huh, so it did work.

Darragh let out a slight chuckle as he saw the girls change of posture. It would seem that despite their small stature there was some fight in them. Good, very good. It would seem this little pigeon might actually have a chance to entertain him, if she fought half as good as she acted. Of course he would have to wait and see before he would decide what to do, but that was exactly why she needed to be inside. All the fights were held there. With it being so secretive however, it might be a risk to tell her the password. But the feline never had been one to worry about consequences.
She even had the guts to push passed him. Not many people dared to do that. If anything she seemed confident enough. Now to see how she would hold up in an actual fight. "Sorry precious you're not my type. You came for a fight is my guess. If you get your pretty face beat up it's on you." he replied with his usual Irish accent and grinned at her. It was always fun to see how far someone could be pushed, but the vampire wasn't stupid. He knew to keep a guard up just in case. He walked passed her near the wall to do his knocking routine and watched as the wall slid open.
Of course he wouldn't jump just any person though. He preferred his 'partners' willing. And it wasn't like it was the only thing on his mind. The demon also still needed to feed. But it could wait. Even feeding he preferred males. So in truth she was perfectly safe. She seemed delightfully sensitive to his approaches however. Though this just entertained the feline. When she walked inside, Darragh looked back outside for a moment but then decided to go back in as well. He finished his smoke and if there was to be a fight soon, he didn't want to miss it.
Once he walked further inside the wall slid back behind him and once again he was surrounded by the trusted torches that lid the dark hallway that led underground. This was how he preferred it. Even before he was turned vampire he had preferred the night. It was so much more quiet. Darragh followed behind the nameless creature silently and watched how the guard would react to this new face. Had she indeed turned around to yell at him she would have looked him straight in the eye. A fleeting smile played over his lips when the guard stepped aside. The feline passed Lyra once more and as he approached the guard they just nodded at Darragh, easily recognizing their regular customer's appearance.
After repeating the password so often it was for the better. It was getting tiresome so the Irish demon was glad they stopped asking. He walked ahead into the building and to the bar nearby. "Another Mojito please. Extra Rum" he ordered his drink and once it was given to him he paid and took it with him to his usual seat near the ring. The feline wouldn't bet before he knew what to expect. It was his plan to sit and watch her fight first, gauge her potential and then make bets depending on who she faced next.
Being passed by the feline, Lyra's eyes followed him as he moved on through before she turned her attention back to the guard. He stared hard back at her, but didn't say anything. moving inside, the young woman took in a deep breath as she finally stepped into the hidden fight club. The music made the floor underneath of her boom with it's volume, but that didn't bother her all that much. Continuing to scan the room with her eyes, she walks closer towards the center before she's leaning against a railing and glancing down to where she can figure the fights must take place.
The thrill of a possible fight vibrates through her, the griffin wishing she had her sword with her. But, well, this probably wasn't the best place for a sword fight. Still, she could throw a punch and take one just as well, so she wouldn't mind a fist fight either. Biting her bottom lip as she tried to control her urge to hop over the rail, she needed to find herself a fighter first.
Slowly glancing back over her shoulder, her eyes flickered over towards the bar where the man who had led her inside sat waiting for a drink. She wasn't sure if she could approach him and request him to fight her, so, she let her eyes travel to any other unfamiliar face hovering about in the dimly lit building.
Tongue running across her teeth, Lyra pushed herself away from the railing and made her way to throw herself down into a seat next to Darragh. "So.." She started, gesturing her head towards where the fights would have taken place. "What do I gotta do to get myself in there?" She asked him.
Was there some money she had to pay, or maybe there was only a certain time that they did most of their fights? Honestly, she was clueless on all of this, but hoped that the man in front of her would be willing to give her the information she needed so that she could have somewhere to fight.

The thrill of a possible fight to watch delighted the feline. It had been a while since he had seen truly good ones. Once he had his drink and had walked to his seat he had sat down resting his head on his hand with the elbow on the table and he pondered his current way of living. Not because he wasn't content but there had to be an easier way to get his feedings every day right?
Perhaps he should see if he couldn't find a few vampire fanatics all to happy to be the subject of a feeding. If Soleil had those, he wasn't sure but it did seem the fans were everywhere. Something about the life of a vampire with immortality and mystery. It was an enticing idea and Darragh licked his fangs as he entertained the thought. No need to use his abilities as much would sure be a boon to his energy.
His train of thought was broken when the female of earlier suddenly had come to him and just threw herself in a seat next to him. Darragh raised an eyebrow as turned his head to look at her. He was about to ask about her coming to him like this when she asked her question. "Ah, can't find it?" he asked and then gestured with the thumb of his other hand to the counter that handled the fights. "You register there and they make a table of contestants. You'll be matched up randomly and then you can fight in the ring." he explained, though he hadn't fought himself. Since he was interested in it, he had done some research.
Darragh grinned a bit as he looked at the girl next to him, his eyes partly hidden behind his hair. "I look forward to seeing what you can do down there." he admitted softly. It was all he had come here for right after her. She had potential and Darragh was eager to learn if that potential held throughout the arena. Who knows she might be his new favorite to bet on, if she was a good contestant.
