[Player's Room] That's a quite a long story. It sounds like he knows a lot about this Double Dare show thing, Aulona.
= Merchandise Guild Owner: During Double Dare's Peek, there was an array of Double Dare Items made Pubic such as Home Editions, Tiger Electronic Games, Puzzles, Videos, Lunchboxes, Books, DOS Computer & Nintendo Games. As Double Dare grew, other countries did their own versions in Australia, England, Holland & even Germany. Double Dare went International with the French, Dutch, British & Australian Versions.

"It sure does," she replied. She was still trying to process it all.

[Player's Room] This Double Dare OOC Game sounds like fun. Maybe we can tell our friends about it and see what they think.
= Host vs Announcer Special Guild Owner: Sometimes, have you wondered what it would be like if Marc & Harvey played the game with actual players alongside? Well, it happened in Super Sloppy Double Dare during 1989. So they spoke with the Staff at Nickelodeon and it was a great idea. Marc's Team ended up winning the game. In that game a Guest Host was brought in. After that, they gained a new perspective of what everyone goes through when they're on Double Dare... The Guild Owner shows the famous Obstacle Course Run with Marc & Harvey on Super Sloppy Double Dare in 1989 on his computer:
= Other Special Episodes Guild Owner: Over the years, Double Dare did other Themed Episode such as Food, 3D, Guest Stars & other Great Themed Episodes. But one of those Themed Episodes in the Marc Summers Era was the time that WWE Superstars, Bobby the Brains & Gorilla Monsoon competed in the Double Dare & WWE Super Slop-a-Mania 1... Both Teams ended up winning as a result of a WWE Foul Smackdown. The Guild Owner shows the famous Obstacle Course Run with the WWE Superstars on WWE & Super Sloppy Double Dare's Super Slop-a-Mania 1 in 1989 on his computer:
= Production & Volunteers Guild Owner: When Double Dare was in Production, they taped 4 shows a day, 5 days a week. Some people working on that show sometimes fool around after a certain amount of time. Once, Marc took a member of the audience and gave him the Ultimate Challenge to demonstrate the Spud Splat Obstacle. The kid ended up getting a pair of Sneakers, a new pair of pants and a Double Dare T-Shirt.
= Final Thoughts Guild Owner: One more thing worth mentioning, is that during the Double Dare Obstacle Course on the Television Show, some Champion Teams are known to lose their wits and concentration.

"Yeah," she replied as she listened. She could imagine that at least one of them would get all super-excited to join.

[Player's Room] ...
= Marc Summers Final Season 1992-1993 Guild Owner: By the end of Double Dare 1990's season & with Harvey's child, Harvey decided to leave his role as announcer in 1992 after the 2 Episodes of Super Special Double Dare. Afterwards, another Radio Personality named Doc Holiday took over as announcer in 1992. However, the 1992 to 1993 Season of Double Dare was the Final Season of Nickelodeon Family Double Dare as Nickelodeon's Reputation was cemented during the whole Nicktoons Era such other Nick Games such as What Would You Do, Nick Arcade, GUTS, Legends of the Hidden Temple and Figure It Out. Double Dare's Classic Era had a Series Finale in 1993. In that episode, the 4 Best Teams faced off in a Tournament of Champions for the Championship Title & there was one more Episode remaining so that Double Dare can go out on high note, but it was unaired. The Episode was called the Old Times Episode where the Cast & Crew went Head to Head in a just for fun friendly game to celebrate how far they came.

Aulona kept listening closely to what was being said.

= Double Dare 2000 Guild Owner: Double Dare's 482 Episodes from 1986 to 1993 aired as Reruns in 1999. During this time, Nickelodeon made movies. But in November 1999, Double Dare 2000 was announced then aired by the start of 2000. Double Dare 2000 is the 6th Incarnation of Double Dare with new features such as the Triple Dare Challenge which makes the Psychical Challenge harder along with $300 and a great prize. Jason Harris was host of Double Dare 2000 who has a sweater shirt look while Tiffany Philips was the announcer & aired for 67 episodes. It was around this time when SpongeBob would eventually become Nickelodeon's mascot after SpongeBob would rise as one of the longest running Nicktoon from 1999 to the present. After Double Dare 2000, only a handful of Games would air at the Nickelodeon Studios in Orlando before closing in 2005. But Double Dare was not out for the count as there was one more incarnation for the time being...

Aulona kept listening, even if she really didn't understand most of it.

[Player's Room] ...
= Double Dare 2018 Guild Owner: By 2012, Nickelodeon went through some changes with a new look in 2009 with both TMNT and Power Rangers airing. During the Nickelodeon Suites in May 2012, a Stage Live Show of Double Dare was preformed at the Nick Hotel until the Nickelodeon Suites closed in 2016. During 2016, Double Dare celebrated its 30th Birthday, seeing the return of Marc Summers. TeenNick also introduced a Late Night block called NickRewind which aired old Nickelodeon Shows along with the Double Dare Reunion Special. By 2018, Double Dare was Rebooted which Liza Koshy, a YouTuber, who became the New Host with Marc Summers as the Announcer. Some games were played teams of 2, 3 or 4. Double Dare 2018 was Filmed at the CBS Studio Center in Hollywood, California. Some former Double Dare Champions would compete with their children on the show where adults relive their youths. In 2019, Double Dare 2018 had various Tournament Themed Episodes under 5 Themes, Kids Choice Awards, SpongeBob, WWE, Halloween and Holiday. Double Dare 2018 finished airing on Christmas 2019. However, this would be the last time Marc Summers would be doing Double Dare before leaving. Double Dare was nominated for an Emmy after 35 years as recognition of 7 Incarnations, International Versions, Syndication, over 600 Episodes & Live Shows.
= Conclusion Guild Owner: Double Dare may rest then come back when the time comes on Nickelodeon. So in conclusion, Double Dare will always rise again because a show where not knowing something can get you messy which can be fun, you can get messy and get away with it on Nickelodeon television or when it comes to becoming a human Q-Tip through an Ear Canal Obstacle Course Segment, as long as time moves forward and we remember how far Double Dare came and went along with its fandoms that found its way to the Internet, Double Dare will always live on in our Hearts & in our Minds. As this is not the End of Double Dare, but its only the Beginning of another Double Dare Incarnation waiting to arrive.
That was a great story about something that you enjoyed growing up. Aulona, what did you think of the Guild Owner's story about one of his favorite shows? Eldin asked Aulona.

"It was quite interesting," she replied. Sure, she barely understood anything since she had no idea what or who most of the names mentioned was. But it was always great when someone felt passionate about something.

[Player's Room] Guild Owner: So, do you think you and your friends would like to be on an OOC Double Dare game, now that I told you about Double Dare's History from 1986 to 2019?
Shall we try it, Aulona? Sounds like fun. Eldin asked Aulona.

"Sure, let's give it a try." She didn't know for certain about Sirpa, but she believed that Ariane might be interested. And if she was, then Nilima might join too.
Eldin Alfitaria Adventurer (Blue Mage) "Blue Magic comes in all shapes and sizes."
[Player's Room] Guild Owner: Perhaps later. We can start with a 15 Question Standard Game but later on. Double Dare went on Live Tours in 1990 while in 1991, Marc, Robin and some the Double Dare crew worked on another Nickelodeon show being a participation show called What Would You Do. There’s also another show related to Double Dare in 1987 called Finders Keepers, but that is another story for another time.
Sounds like Double Dare is quite the ideal game that you love. Aulona, I hope that we to hear more about the Guild Owner's history of his love for children's show on this so called Nickelodeon.
Guild Owner: Nickelodeon is a Channel which began life as the Pinwheel Channel in 1977 before changing to Nickelodeon in 1979. Their next show after Pinwheel is You Can’t Do That On Television which included the world to Nickelodeon's famous green slime & gak which is really fun to watch people get messy.
Eldin Alfitaria Adventurer (Blue Mage) "Blue Magic comes in all shapes and sizes."
[Player's Room] Guild Owner: The Scoring System for Double Dare across its incarnations differ from version to version. But more on that later. So as you can see, Double Dare is one of Nickelodeon's ideal games.
That's incredible.
Guild Owner: During Double Dare's incarnations in the television show, its not uncommon for a team to get an early lead and dominate. 5 Episodes of Double Dare 2000 were filmed in an HD Letterbox Format. The problem is, Nickelodeon would not switch to HD Television Format until 2008. Nick GAS aired reruns of Double Dare's incarnations from 1986 to 2000 until Nick GAS Closed down in 2009.
