Ruin watched the pot now. He felt simple and that agitated him again. Slavering over a liver. But he hadn't eaten in... days? He couldn't remember. Whenever the last time he'd decimated a town was. As it sizzled a low, appreciative growl rolled up from deep in his chest. He wanted that liver. Suddenly the binds were released and he sort of stumbled forward a few steps. One paw slamming down in front of him to catch his balance. He hadn't realized he'd been leaning so hard into the field until it lifted. With a hard sniff he passed the Holykat, giving it an admiring once over as he went, and made his way closer to Axis. His rage was apparently temporarily forgotten, but his wariness was not.

Leaning in to gaze into the pot the large male slid his gaze sideways to regard her. The fur along his back stood upright like a mane, a warning. Like he hadn't just had his a** frozen back there. It smelled so good though. He could feel the salivation begin as the aroma drifted out of the pot, seducing his senses. The only kind of seduction he'd weakly succumb to honestly. Food.

He had no idea what Axis was talking about and he didnt have the patience for espionage. "I know there's this plane, and the Deities plane, other than that you've got me." Something nagged at him, deep down in his gut, there had to be more going on than just her being too good at being an Unholykat. No, something else bothered him. Something he felt like she was about to reveal. If she did it probably wouldn't change his mind. He was supposed to bring her in. His main concern was figuring out how to do that.. with all her friggin magical powers and s**t.

Ruin glanced at the offered piece of meat and removed it from her with a low growl. Popping it into his terrifying jaws it practically melted in his mouth. The smell of the wine sizzling and boiling was enough to make his stomach rumble. He listened as she spoke, he honestly didn't know what she was talking about but he just kept silent and let her continue on. Realms, Gods, magic, this was all above his head. He wasn't a scholar. Or a schemer. He was a do-er. A breaker. And destroyer. So while what she was going on about sounded chaotic, and probably fun, he couldn't be as excited as she was.

And then it began. 'Get out.' She was yelling at him to leave. What the ******** was this psycho bitches problem? Aside from the fact that this was probably the reaction she should have had to begin with.. before she started giving him nibbles of liver. Her rage increased and he could feel it in the air. The fur along his back stood upright and he turned abruptly to face her. Teeth bared, claws ready, the chain slipped through them and the metal spiked ball hit the floor with a crack. So, she wanted to use force. Fine. He could use force.

A snarl etched into his muzzle, exposing razor sharp canines large enough to easily rip a throat clean out. As the air started to vibrate he began to swing his chain, the ball gliding deftly overhead. His eyes trained steadily on her as he braced himself. The wind was growing stronger. The warping of the atmosphere was concerning but luckily he was able to block out the distraction. A few more swings and the minute the gust appeared, hurtling his way, the ball and chain began to glow an almost purple color and he sent it flying, aiming to wrap around her body and slam the ball portion into the wood to keep her from moving or escaping. If it hit she would be immobilized. He had his own tricks.

The gust hit him full in the chest. It sent him flying into the... possibly dead? Actually dead? Holykat and nearly out of the cave entrance. With a heavy sigh he caught his breath, clambering back onto his paws and shaking the dust from his pelt. "Well, now. That was rude..." He remarked. Hoping his weapon did its job and he wasn't now just weaponless.

Ruin stepped back into the cave which, frankly, looked a little rough. He ignored whatever was left of the Holykat and left it outside. That wasn't why he was here. Stepping over the debris spread out across the floor, his footsteps heavy, he squinted. It was hard to see if his weapon had worked and he didn't want to just waltz in if it hadn't. Against the firelight he could make out a suspended figure and he smirked, raising up to his full height, large tail sliding back and forth against the floor as he closed the distance between them.

He liked her much better like this. Less volatile. As she turned they came face to face and he lifted a large claw to press it under her chin, none too gently, lifting her face up so their eyes met. "Feels like s**t doesn't it?" He growled, referencing the binding. His large, sharp, teeth flashing in the darkness as he spoke. He released her chin and wandered over to the pot which had, miraculously, survimay.

Peeking inside he stabbed at the liver and pulled it out of the liquid. He'd consider this payment for having to put up with the mood swing and attempted catapulting. His teeth sliced through it like butter, giving it a contented chew, it was exquisite. His gaze returned to his prize and he made his way back to her. There was something about all that power being contained that gave him a strange feeling. He liked it. Quirking a brow he took another bite. The slippery organ held tight by his claws. "Now can you explain, in simple terms, what it is you were going on about before you decided to have a ******** psychotic break and shoot me out the door?"

Ruin listened, his tail sliding back and forth across the floor as she spoke. There wasn't a bone in his body that sought world domination for himself, in fact ruling anything seemed like a ******** drag, but tearing everything down and destroying the natural order seemed pretty fun. He moved close to the suspended female and seemed to just consider her for a time, his expression hard to read, but it was evident he was trying to decide what to do with her. He couldn’t untie her, not until he was certain she wouldn’t shoot him into another dimension.

“Is that what you want?” He asked, his voice a low growl. “To be a god? A ruler?” He lifted his free hand and carefully slid two fingers under her jaw, pushing her face up almost painfully. “And what would an Unholykat want with power when we are designed to tear everything into pieces? If you want to entice me you don’t need titles to do it.” He lifted the liver up to her face and held it in front of her lips. If she wanted a bite she’d better take it now, because he was going to eat the entire thing. And he didn’t often share anything.

Ruin watched her take a bite and smirked, not too put off to enjoy good food. At least she had sense. He flicked his tail again, listening while Axis spoke, before taking another bite of the liver and chewing slowly. Savoring every bite. This was all honestly over his head; he wasn’t one to dance around tactics or spend too much time building elaborate plans. He relied heavily on his strength and his ability to make smart decisions in a snap. It’s how he’d survived this long, and how he handled big, strong, enemies over the years. Apparently, it served him well enough. Minus today's little mess. If he got to do what brought him ultimate pleasure in the process of carrying out his Deities wishes, why ******** up a good thing? But something about what she was saying kind of ignited a flame within him. The idea of endless destruction, worlds waiting to be laid to ruin, was like a wet dream for an Unholykat.

Her last comment didn’t go unnoticed either. His gaze had drifted as he contemplated but it snapped fiercely up to her face, a tethered ferocity simmering beneath the surface. “Is that so?” He growled, sliding his claws around her throat and pushing her back just a tiny amount mid-air. Enough to put pressure on her windpipe but not enough to quite choke her. “Look, I’m not against ambition, but I am against blind ambition. I’m not about to just agree with some ******** possible lunatic I’ve been sent to fetch for the Unholykat God.. however..” He paused, glancing at the book and then back at her. “I’m also not against hearing more. If there are worlds I can slip to, without consequence, and sate my endless hunger I’d be an idiot not to ask how.”

Ruin watched the curve of her neck lengthen beneath his claws and something within him stirred. The scent of blood was thick in the air, her pelt coated in it, his pupils dilated and contracted as he watched her. She could thrash all she wanted, she wasn't going anywhere. He didn't trust her. Not after how quickly she'd turned on him earlier. Sure, he'd come to possibly kill her, definitely take her back to their Deity, but he had been at least straight about it. She went from holding him hostage, to confiding in him, to blowing his a** clean out of the cave. And seeing her exercise power like that he honestly wasn't ready to give her another chance to make the next power flex count. He had plenty to... well not really live for but it was easy to get the picture.

Ruin took another bite of the liver and chewed thoughtfully as he continued to watch Axis. Licking blood and juice from his lips slowly. God this was good s**t. He couldn't remember the last time he'd had something so delicious. "Look, whatever your name is, I would love to just.. believe you're really going to give me everything I want but how the hell am I supposed to? We're not friends. In fact, I have a gut feeling that if I let you go, you will try to ******** me up. And I'm not exactly interested in ending up like that Holykat outside. Delicious or not."

Ruin smirked at her. Axis huh? Well at least he could target her specifically now and, if something went down where he lost her he could at least, maybe, be able to use it to find her easier. Maybe. That was still a crap shoot. The crunch caught him by surprise and when the dust hit him in the face he dropped the rest of the liver which fell to the floor with a disgusting 'splat'. His temper flared instantly. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?" He growled, lunging forward. He tapped on the chains and they began to tighten around her body, squeezing her. Not enough to break bones but enough to show they probably could if given another tap.

He sneezed and shook his head. What was with this woman and her ******** tricks? Why the hell was he here dealing with this s**t. She was obviously trouble, and dangerous, and it pissed him off to think that she might be a little more than he could handle. But no. ******** that. The Unholykat god sent him for a reason. He really wished he knew what it was. Somehow he felt like the Deity was laughing at him, finding his pain pleasurable. He didn't doubt it somehow. He slid an arm across his eyes, blinking against the powder. It hadn't seemed like that much but it felt.. weird. He growled low, his ears sliding back as he presented his large canines. "And you made me ********' drop the liver!"
