Avignon has needed to raise his sibling but also be out and around mortal fae's in order to survive and gain knowledge in how the world works and how to get by. Plus he's of a good alignment and has a certain love for mortals and doesn't mind working with them to learn new skills in design...it's where he learned a lot already.
