Username: Melomar Taur’s Certed Image:  Brief Description of Taur: Cooperative, Hedonistic, Pious. He likes to help people when he isn't performing rituals and preparing for them. He honors his father (whom I want to join the herd too once he is made). I would say he likes socializing and romancing but he is difficult to get to know. Why Would They Join the Herd?: These people are right up his alley, he would feel at home with them, I think. Witch Path: Elemental, specializing in Earth and Fire (or just Earth if only one is allowed). Role: Probably a Novice with a goal of working up to a Priest. (He is knowledgeable but not a master.) Family: His father will also join, his name will be Alphege (aal fee)

(I am putting them in one post because of their relation to each other) Username: Melomar Taur’s Certed Image:  Brief Description of Taur: Tiny marshmallow who loves his family dearly and stays close with them. They are protective of him and his gentle voice. If they weren't, he would not be nearly so kind to his voice/throat. He is a wanderer who does not keep lasting relationships outside his "girls." But they are trying to get him to settle down. He supports any choices they want to make. Why Would They Join the Herd?: He wants to learn to harness his music magic's power and creative ways to use it. Wants to become more than a music master. Witch Path: Music Witch (Artistic Witch) Role: Practitioner --> Elder (Novice is also acceptable if necessary) Family: Pema (daughter), Dawa (granddaughter) Username: Melomar Taur’s Certed Image:  Brief Description of Taur: Sweet, gentle, and very family-oriented. Even her one-time mate is a friend, now. She loves her children and is thrilled that Dawa is joining them. She is excited to get to know all the herd members. Why Would They Join the Herd?: She wants to learn to use music magic like her father. She is convinced that she will have inherited it from him. She is very studious and serious about this to the point where she forgets to eat. Dawa has her hands full! He is gentle and weak, not that that is a bad thing, he just needs someone to look out for him. He has a figurative target painted on his back. She loves flowers and astronomy. She worships lunar deity and the cosmos but uses rituals until she learns to harness her own and cosmic energies. She wants to get to know more taurs her (younger) age. Why Would They Join the Herd?: Because her elder relations joined and she wants to be with them. She will be a good student though. Jamyang would need to be a Practitioner, and the children would need to be Novices. Since they’re younger, they can’t immediately become Priestess and Grounder, but Jamyang could be an Elder if you discuss with Cheri.

I don't mind putting Jamyang in as Elder, but I think starting as Practitioner makes the most sense. We can work him up to Elder, since it's kind of a rank with trust. Elders help makes decisions for the herd.

When such weather strikes, she goes out into the wild storm, making offerings to the Spirits. She is not foolish, she does not go where the lightning will strike her... She may be comfortable with it, but she knows she cannot control the wild lightning. Only that which she might summon. Why Would They Join the Herd?: She sees a herd of fellow witches, magical practitioners, as the safest place for one such as herself. They loved her anyway and while adjusting and learning to parent a taur with wings and magic was challenging they were all happy. Zoe grew up enveloped by the love of her parents but there was a tug in her heart that she couldn't explain. There was a purpose for her, she knew. She spoke to the Spirits often, leaving offerings and asking of them help in her rituals. Her parents were ignorant of magic and skeptical about Zoe's chosen path. There were no other witches around and for a long while Zoe felt lost. When she was old enough she struck out from her home to seek out her purpose. Why Would They Join the Herd?: She has some fire magic already as well as a basic practice in magic and is interested in learning how to take her skills farther.
