Status- Finally fully complete. Didn't notice the equipped list bit on the first page whoops (my mistake, should've triple checked it sooner), maybe the requirements could've been highlighted more since last round of actual Project Catwalk mentioned that in the regular challenges they were optional
The first model I chose was one I really resonated with, Kiara. I love her punk aesthetic, so I built an assassin street style look for her. For her main outfit I used the punk leather biker jacket with bracelet, high-rise skirt and bra top, goth buckled boots with tights that also match the overall skull theme. The skull hairpin, belt, and jewelry garnish the look. The scar makeup makes it feel like she's a battle-scarred veteran. I gave her a fitting derelict city background with a mud puddle for a realistic feel and some hazy lighting so the model will pop and not get lost in the scenery.
(I made an alternate magical girl theme for Kiara as well to see if I could come up with a variety of different styles for the model, although I chose to post this one in the end.)
My second choice is Eryn, since she has a unique but lovely look. I made a Jane Austen inspired look, perhaps ironically because the model's hairstyle is called "Jane's Hair" although that's not the only reason; I wanted to build an entire look around a hat. I looked for a hat in a style and bright, warm colors that flatter the model and chose this lovely floral-embellished hat, matching it with different pieces in matching colors that come from entirely separate outfits but combine to make one beautiful, flowing dress. I found a matching background as well as a quaint but lovely floral swing that I think matches the theme splendidly.
The third model I chose was Serena, since she looks sweet but fierce and uses very unique colors. For this model, I started by finding gorgeous teal items to coordinate with her eyes, and found plenty of beautiful Indian/Middle-Eastern inspired styles, so I built my look around a beautiful but deadly royal dancer/assassin. Serena might look like a sweet noble lady at first glance, but she's a lot like the weapons she wields- elegant, but fierce and deadly. I absolutely love this arm item with the chakrams- extremely sharp throwing rings that can slice through armor and bone, which I paired with the intimidating spiked crown. The dress is actually multiple items I combined to add the extra gold accents along with some jewelry, plus matching cape and coordinating veil. I completed the look with a coordinating colorful background that also matches the theme of my chosen outfit.
Notes: Finished all three, now I need to be this productive with like, everything else too. Also, I don't really have much of a difference in preference among these models- I like them all about equally as much, in case that factors in (for some reason everyone likes Serena now RIP, but that's why she's my third model, figured Kiara would be less popular but I love styling for Eryn too.) Lastly, I didn't receive any kind of message specifying that I missed the bit in the original post about posting the item list, but there's a reason why I temporarily save the styles with item lists in a buried post on my alt account

Hello! I do not have a particular preference for which model I am chosen for, this is simply done in the order that I created them! I hope you enjoy my creations. ♥
First Choice Designer: Sy as in Why Model: Eryn Spanish Sahara - Foals Description: My initial take was to do a grunge-inspired look for Eryn; her pout really gave that apathetic vibe that was very much in during grunge's peak. However, the more I worked on her, the more I was reminded of the Life is Strange game series, and I adapted her around that concept, especially inspired by Life is Strange: Before the Storm and the protagonist Chloe and her punk/grunge aesthetic. The bright colours contrasting the black clothes were intentionally picked to give a fun contrast that'd keep the look interesting, and the little blue wings on her backpack are intended to suggest a more playful, childlike side behind the grim pout. The additional rainbow motif provided is also a llittle wink and a nod to the series' commitment to bringing LGBTQA+ characters to the forefront; considering that this audition is starting mid-Pride Month, it felt appropriate. Second Choice Designer: Sy as in Why Model: Jaylyn White Swan's Despair Description: The first thought to come to mind with Jaylyn was "graceful", so my immediate response was to make her some sort of dancer. I tried many concepts, but eventually struck inspiration with Swan Lake, the classic ballet that everyone and their mother knows, but comes with many endings. I went for the ending where Odette chooses to die over being a swan forever after seeing Siegfried with Odile. I kept to a soft pastel palette and subtle tears on her face to symbolise Odette's own innocence as well as the titular lake itself as the background setting, but with a whirlwind of feathers surrounding her to represent her torment (feathers flying off her outside to represent how she's falling apart inside, if you will), and her ballet slippers coloured a bright red to symbolise her upcoming demise. The red slippers were also a little inspired by the ending of Black Swan, though with her feet representing her end instead of the shard within Nina's abdomen, but with blood representing her end nonetheless. After all, a ballet dancer's feet are her greatest asset; if she cannot use them, her career ends as well. This is Jaylyn as Odette's final dance before she surrenders to her despair and betrayal. Third Choice Designer: Sy as in Why Model: Amira Knight of Truth Description: I took one look at Amira and was immediately reminded of the character Chirinide from an old comic called Drowtales, a holy knight type that initially starts out as a zealot, but learns to shed this as she grows to learn more about the world and the truths behind it. With that in mind, I set out to make a holy knight, using light blues to suggest an ice-cold personality with an angelic motif to really hammer it home, but using blue-toned greys and the Knight of Winter's Solace item to add crows in the background, suggesting a grimmer presence but not necessarily a bad one. The snow in the background suggests both the harshness of winter (and thus within Amira), but also of the beauty as well. In addition, Amira's soft eyes suggest that beneath the sword and armour, a gentle heart can be found as well. Items Used:
After many, MANY attempts to finish these designs, I honestly almost gave up on entering. My PC decided to crash on me several times, and by last night I thought I was in the clear! Each model was done, equip lists typed out, and then my friggin CATS tripped my power supply. All my work, gone. But I pulled myself up by my bootstraps, redid every design, and managed to be successful!!
I went with a theme of Royalty.

A word about my entry for Cheska: Oh my, I just adore her so she had to be my first attempt. I knew I wanted to portray "a first time model", because for me it's a bit funny, but then I also just so happened to see the PERFECT inspiration for her outfit. Check the photo if you are interested. Of course I wanted her look to be relatively "simple" to match my personal theme, but I quite really love how it turned out. Thanks for your time!

A word about my entry for Luz: While Cheska may have been a joy, I found Luz to be roadblock after roadblock ha ha. When I finally settled that I wanted her to be "jogging", I realized the hair pool for the color dhalia was super small and I couldn't do anything to make it look like it had movement-- so I scratched that, to make her look tired and stopped instead. The challenge is part of the fun right? Right! I feel like Luz is gonna be a fighter for sure.

A word about my entry for Amira: The theme I decided on for Amira was "change", and as such I was digging into all of the pretty witchy and magical items at first. Then I stumbled upon the swan item (and just had to use it of course), so we ended up here: building Odette from the charming movie "The Swan Princess", in which a princess is cursed to turn into a swan by day, and back to herself at night. It's almost a crime that I couldn't submit multiple versions of this same entry, as there was also a PERFECT daytime background for her as well (for those curious ). It's even quite pretty without this castle background as well. It was super hard to choose redface You can bet I'm putting this build into my wishlist lol

Entry 1 • Brandie Designer • Princess Warfare - Art Pop Icon Debut - "Art pop" is one of my favorite subgenres of music. In the context of my description, when I refer to art pop, I am also including avant-garde and experimental pop. My muses in these categories and subcategories are Grimes and Lady Gaga, so I tried to include things that reminded me of both of them! Note the jet-pack-belt thing; a little scifi nod to grimes. The cute fun hair extension I added made me think of Lady Gaga and her voluminous locks in her ArtPop (the album) era. dreamy pastels and the vhs filter overlay evoke a sense of otherworldly adorableness!
i was just goofin' around with complementary colors and accidentally made something cool! xd i was partially inspired by the miasma color scheme, but the intent behind the contrasting colors and orbs in the background is to show how Eunwoo is caught "in between" different planes/realms of existence. The colors i've paired in this ensemble illustrate the following lyric from a Grimes song (titled Liberte): "you need the dark to see the light." In other words, the complementary color scheme and the contrast created therein helps establish a particular balance amongst the surrealist landscape.
oop, another grimes song inspired me! if you've listened to the cyberpunk 2077 soundtrack, you might be familiar with the song "delicate weapon" sung by grimes, who plays Lizzy Wizzy in the same video game.
juxtaposition is probably my favorite type of enhancement to a character or narrative. You see Amira holds a sword while looking quite literally like a flower; fragile, delicate.
In my mind, she is a princess who has lived her life sheltered, never having been allowed to express herself. I am autistic and I have adhd, so i have been chronically misunderstood basically my whole life. i'd like to further explore Amira's journey of self-expression throughout the competition.

Edit: My first version of Cheska was my first attempt at using the avatar creator in this way and clearly I got far better with Raven and Brandie since I had a bit more practice. I wanted my Cheska to be on the same level of work as them because shes a great model and I didn't do her justice the first time. This time I feel like what I did showed off her features better and was more put together!

Raven is really stunning with her red hair and tan I wanted to make her look very regal and I think the Teal and Gold with the red dress really accomplish this. Honestly I wish this was an official color scheme I think the colors work incredibly well together.

I decided I wanted to go with a green for Brandies look and I wanted her to look very put together shes gorgeous and I wanted to focus on her face rather than her body. I went with a soft green and I really liked this one being more monotone.
My overall thoughts: I really enjoyed working within the bounds of my models. Cheska's hair is so interesting because a lot of hats and headwear aren't synergistic and clip strangely so finding ones that work for the look and highlight this feature are very satisfying!
Raven was exciting to work with she is very sultry looking and bold and with the red hair you want to make sure you aren't choosing colors that will clash. I love that she has such a strong look to start and you can't really use her as a blank canvas.
Brandie was great to work with and she is a bit more of a blank canvas for me. My own avatars tend to reflect my paler skintone and I wanted to work with a model who felt in my comfort zone while still trying to branch out from my usual style. I don't usually do looks that are so modest or simple so while I stayed in my comfort zone by using a model with the lighter skin tone I usually use I branched out with how I styled her.
Raven would be my first choice to work with. I'm not scared of working with such a bold red in every look and I just think shes stunning and versatile. But I would happily work with Brandie or Cheska as they both have great features to play with!
Dont you hate it when you are waiting for someone and suddenly it starts raining? Jaylyn was supposed to meet up with her fiancé at market to have lunch and go shopping, but clouds beat him to it. She quickly rushes to take shelter, but getting wet is unavoidable
Honestly, I just modeled this one on my current and touched it up a little. I liked how I could give some water effects on her (gaia could really use some good wet effects). The clothes stick to her and are a bit translucent at places enhancing the effect

I was going for a slightly different look at first, but the foreground layered so well over the background that I changed it. I gave her the casual look you go for when you dont have time to change out of your work clothes . I had different glasses in mind, but they hid her eyes a little and I didnt want to mess with basic face, so that was a little challenging part

I missed the original announcement and thought that last contest was still going -_-, so this is a bit of a rushed job I wanted to know if we could submit a single pose, but lacking time, I thought it best to just do what others did
I usually prefer models with longer hair, but I had easiest time working with Serena's expressions, so she is my first choice. Other than that, I can work with any model

For all of them I went with a summer outing outdoors!
Description: Raine went out on a picnic. She found the perfect spot with a view of the ocean. However! As she was settling down she realized she forgot the basket! She spent too much time thinking about picking the perfect outfit for her day out.
Description: Amira went to the beach! Unfortunately alone as her date couldn't come at last minute due to work. That didn't stop her from having fun and build a sand castle! She capture the moment thanks to a kind stranger!
Description:For this one I was also going to put her in a beach/water setting, hence the bikini under her cloths, but to change it up I went with her walking down a path to the beach. I'm not too familiar with this skin tone but the soft tone seem to work, the makeup color was difficult.
Description: I based her look off of some of the female protagonists you would see in PS2 survival horror. The inspirations I drew from are Heather Mason from Silent Hill 3 and Mayu Amakura from Fatal Frame 2 mainly. Decided to throw a backpack and glasses on her to give her an identity of her own.
Description: Mori kei is a style I really miss seeing and I felt like Serena would be a great model to show off that kind of cute nature-y look. Kept the background behind her simple and to the point to make her look shine more.
