Avari Fusion (C) vs Omen

"A-var-I A-var-I"

Omen mimicking the crowd, even laughing as Avari is wedged deep inside the corner.

Approaching Avari once more, Omen had the intentions of doing one more throw to the opposite corner. Not even fighting, but tossing his opponent around with reckless abandon.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Avari heard the fans chanting his name, followed by Omen chanting along in a mocking manner. He then felt himself gripped and.. sent hard across the ring.

Omen put such force in this one that Fusion had no time to turn, hitting the turnbuckle with his chest, and immediately falling backwards from the impact!

Down went Avari, finally. The third whip would be the harshest as the Champ took it to the chest. Whether it was because he had no time to turn or he didn't want his back to absorb all the pain.

Omen would approach the downed Avari. Looking to bring his size 20" across the skull of the downed Champion.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

The boot coming down on Avari's skull was sickening, as his entire body went rigid for a moment with the impact.

The crowd continued their chants desperately, trying to give their energy to the Champion, but it felt futile at this moment.

The abuse was stacking up, now would be a good time to see how damaged the Champ is. But... Omen is not going for the pinfall.

Instead, he would hunch over, grabbing the arm of Avari, and placing his boot against the shoulder socket of Avari. Pulling on the arm as he presses his foot deeper into the shoulder.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Avari felt like his entire arm was being ripped from its socket as he screamed out in pain, and in that moment.. the chants from the crowd went silent.

The ref implored Omen to stop what he was doing but, technically, he was putting in a submission hold here.

Ligaments were being pulled here, and the Champ really was in a difficult situation.

The crowd would watch in horror as they were seeing Omen mauling his opponent. Maiming him in front of their eyes, and despite the desire to break the hold, the official could do nothing about it.

Omen would continue to press into the arm. Almost as if his intentions were to rip the arm either out of the socket or off completely. A truly sick being.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Avari tried to turn his body, but the pain was heightened with that. He was stuck, truly stuck, and couldn't think of a way out.

The ref came down lower and asked him if he wanted to quit..

"No.. No.. NO!!"

Avari looked up at Omen and shook his head.

"You'll ever make me quit!"

Omen was challenged. But, this confrontation was a lot different than the last one. Instead of wanting Avari to break mentally, he was opting to destroy him physically as much as possible, in hopes that the man wouldn't break.

And he would show that as he began to stomp with malicious intent on the shoulder as he continues to hold the arm up. The blood pooling near the shoulder, making the pain that much worse for the champion.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Avari went to grunting this time, as he attempted to twist and turn his body to alleviate some of the pain. He shook his head right before he swung his head backwards twice, colliding with the rough wood underneath him.

It was at this point that a light bulb clicked in Fusion's brain. He arched his back and brought his legs up, looking to use them to latch on to Omen's arm and drag him towards him!

It seems releasing the hold in order to stomp down on Fusion would have been a mistake. It came across as a good idea at the time, but now Omen was being pulled by his arm into Avari who was bridging and pulling on Omen's arm. Catching him off guard as his arm and shoulder would be in harms way.

Avari was in some of the most brutal pain that he had ever felt in his life, it still felt like his shoulder was being ripped out of its socket. But he gritted his teeth and tried to drag Omen down further, aiming to get him in a Triangle Choke Hold!

Omen would get slipped into the choke. Getting pulled into the blood choke as the Freak would begin to try and maneuver his hands around to try and find something he can grab on to. The longer he stays in this hold, the more likely he will pass out, even despite the size difference.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Just like that, the waves had changed in this match, and the momentum was potentially in the Champion's hands. However.. the sheer pain in Avari's shoulder meant that the hold wasn't fully in place, and it was slowly slipping away.

The ref checked on Omen, asking him if he'd like to quit.

Omen would continue to try and grab something or get some sort of breach. Then he felt the hold loosen, Avari's shoulder was giving. So when the official asked if Omen was alright, Omen would not comply by normal means.

No, he would begin to laugh as he pressed his body deeper against Avari's. Trying to change the way that Avari was applying the hold and either make the champ release the hold or put more stress on his shoulder.
