Description:
I drew inspiration from Apsaras, dancing nymphs from Hindu folklore that are associated with water and clouds. I wanted to incorporate the feeling of movement with the outfit and magical elements without overwhelming the entire look, so I kept a shape in mind by having the flow of the clothing move in the same direction as the clouds and water. I then added some additional accent colors to compliment the mostly blue color scheme of the look. I did consider adding things like filters or lighting mods, but it felt too overpowering for an already busy and intricate design so I held back. As the saying goes, “Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off.”
I also base my avatar looks based on music and the general feeling I get while listening, so I went for something ethereal and dramatic.

My first impression of Jolene was that she had a soft and sweet expression to her, so I based her look on lolita fashion mixed with a little countryside flair.
Jolene is wearing her cutest cord and carrying a picnic basket full of home-baked sweets while on her way to a tea party in the rose garden. It's her first time attending a social event full of like-minded fashionistas, so while she is full of nerves she is also excited to meet new people. Jolene stops before passing under the arch of roses to take in the scent of earl grey tea and rose petals carried by the wind. The sound of distant laughter puts an eager pep in her step as she makes her way towards new friendships.

Harper the underdog. When I saw that she had 0 submissions in her name, I felt sympathetic and decided to pick her to try and work with. Her design went through the most iterations before I settled on something kind of punk and rebellious. The way her mouth hangs open slightly and her half lidded eyes made me think of her having a chill-idgaf attitude towards life, so I turned her into an up-and-coming indie rockstar.
As the guitarist for the band '1MoreDay' she can alternate between finger-burning shredding to mellow acoustic performances where there's never a dry eye in the house. Despite her natural talent at music she prefers to shy away from the spotlight. While outside her latest gig with the bassist, you happen to bump into the pair as Harper takes a drag off her cigarette. "I assume you want an autograph?" she coolly says. You're too starstruck to respond so you just stare at them. Harper cocks an eyebrow and the bassist mean mugs you (not that he can help it, in spite of the rbf he's actually down to earth and bad at talking to others).
