It was. Anko didn't know it was Orochimaru (Or at least I don't think she did.) and called HIM a SHE. So, the chances are yes, the body was a female's.

Ok good, cause Sakura and everyone called him a she, and I just thought that since he was a guy, the body he copied or w/e was a guy too >< lol
In the original version, Sakura called HIM and HE when he was in that er...either his or her body. But, in the dub, it was HIM a SHE. Or...unless...they really thought poor Orochimaru was a girl...Man do I feel sorry for you. I guess we just have to wait till the point in when he finally takes of the diguise and we can finally hear what his voice REALLY soundsl like. The voice in the original version when a strand of his hair got sliced by Anko's kunai, the voice was not Orochimaru's. It was someone elses. Perferably the ninja he took over's voice or whatever.
well it's assumed that he is since he's been alive for like 50 years now and his body is like 20 years old lol

I heard Ororchimaru's voice stays pretty much the same after he gets out of the Grass-nin's body >< So that can't be a good thing... >< Stupid old lady voice.
Lol they need to get some people with an accent to do the voices blaugh

I believe in the dub Naruto calls Orochimaru ' crazy snake lady' or somthing along those lines so Oro. took on a ladies body. Heh, Orochimaru is experimenting rofl
