Tomoe ( Kenshin's first wife ) is my fav. because she loved Kenshin alot and tried to protect him from killing himself along with killing others.

Enishi and Aoshi for me. Everyone has the same reason for Aoshi: He's super cool. XD And Enishi, well he's had a troubled life and which has also made him insane.

He's only in about 4 episodes total, but Hanya is my favorite. Say Aoshi is a ninja all you want, but nothing he does is as ninja-like as what Hanya does in episodes 9-12. There's a true ninja, dammit! GO HANYA!

Seijuro Hiko!! He may be arrogant, but his strength and techinques are unmatched! I see a lot of my own fencing master in Hiko.

Of course I like Kenshin Himura (he IS he main character after all) but my favorite character would be Aoshi Shinomori: he's just plain cool. ninja
I also like Seijuro Hiko (who doesn't? sake!!!). For a girl, it would be Misao Makimachi cuz she reminds me a lot of myself blaugh and/or Kaoru Kamiya cuz of her personality towards Kenshin (from begginning to end)

I have 3 top favorites
1. Saito-He smokes, hates annoying people, and is a complete badass. not to mention Aku Soku Zan
2. Enishi-Kyokeimyaku biatch
3. Kenshin-He's one of the few main characters that are actually interesting. great back story, awesome character, and the single greatest catchphrase "Oro?"

My favorites are Aoshi and Shishio.
Aoshi: Dual kodachis, mysterious and dark personality, and KAITEN KENBU!
Shishio: Passion for domination, fiery techniques, and deepness in character.

I like Megumi more than anyone else, but Sano and Aoshi are cool too. that's what I think anyway.
