lol i couldn't even remember ryoko's name. all i knew is tenchi, the cat, the two police girls, the princess, and the demon lady (ryoko)

Shikalee Disagree as much as you want. Most of you kids don't understand how the industry works, anyway. I don't need to know the how the industry works to notice trends and patterns.

Some Japanese J-pop openings bothers me especially for a serious anime. I don't want to hear pop music it should be metal especially if it's some serious sci-fi action gore fest of an anime. It totally throws me off when I hear some weak japanese girl singing. Play some Fear Factory, Ministry, The Berzerker, heck I'll even shoot for Nine Inch Nails or something in that line. I know there are good bands in Japan play some S.O.B., Dir En Grey (their harder stuff like from withering death or vulger), or Sigh.

It's not that serious either. They have humor, those emotions, stupid remarks and some inside humor. Fear Factor would not fit Naruto.

Trends and patterns mean nothing. That's what I was getting at. As a company, the people may decide something new would catch the attention of viewers. New meaning the use of the Japanese theme on an English dub.

I hear kids going gaijin for ANYTHING REMOTELY Japanese in the anime. In any anime. All the white kids would sing to it. It'd be a hit.

Someone dies so Naruto makes a funny face. I HATE how the anime is DEAD SERIOUS and then a freak show. It is a serious manga, though.
