Powder Water GREG or E Oh mmkay then. I've heard some other song title about being a "******** Myspace Whore" or along those lines. But that's going to be a new song on their new album..? I think. x.x "I Liked You Better Before You Became a ******** Myspace Whore." Now it's known as "Snitches and Talkers get Stitches and Talkers," on the BC&UD edition of FUCT. REALLY?

I Have A Feeling They Changed it From "I Liked You Better Before You Became A ******** Myspace Whore" Because It Was Too Much Like The Song "I Liked You Better Before You Were Naked On The Internet" By From First To Last. Just A Theory.

If so wrong song. In an AOL interview Pete said the First Track on FUCT was supposed to be "My Name Is David Ruffin and These Are The Temptations" Obviously they would have gotten a few lawsuits from that title.

[RaBid.PoP~TaRt] GREG or E The song was originally called "My Name is David Ruffin...and These are the Temptations." Or at least that's the most popular origin. I've heard different song title origins but that's the one I've heard most. Yeah, it was. Pete said so in an interveiw. Damn you!
I was gonna say the real name, but then they said iy.
Then I was going to confirm it because of our fancy AMP magazine, but then you did!
Darn you all to heck!

It was going to be called "My Name Is David Ruffin and These Are The Temptations"
BECAUSE of a VH1 special Pete saw about how David Ruffin was all obsessed with being the frontman and how he was getting big-headed and a spotlight hog and stuff. 3nodding

okay, let's settle this once and for all:
our lawyers...=my name is david ruffin...
snitchers and talkers...=i like you much better before you became...
they changed the name for snitchers... because the FCC usually doesn't allow crude language and profanities in song titles. notice that fob's cds don't have a parental advisory stickers on the front, meaning that they never use explicit lyrics.
and the david ruffin case, it's because you need his opinion if you use his name or not because the temptations are a trademark copyright name.
end of story

Powder Water I'm pretty sure some guy named David Ruffin started a band called the Temptations...? I dunno. And everyone knows Petey's obsessed with everything 80s. rolleyes I prefer Lawyers, anyway. Much more witty. 3nodding David Ruffin was an egotistical freak who joined The Temptations. He died of a gun shot wound. [hint hint: drug issues] He was a VERY good singer but wasn't all that. IF you ever see the movie (The Temptations) there is one part where David refuses to go on-stage unless they go on as David Ruffin and The Temptations. AFter a while of thinking, they all agree that they need David for that performance. So the 4 Temps go on and then David strolls onstage. As soon as the song is over, David says "My Name is David Ruffin and these are The Temptations" hence the original name of "Our Lawyers..." Yeah. There's the story for you. ^_^ I've seen the movie about 5 times (it's a 3-4 hours movie too) and seen The Temptations in concert. I'm a pretty big fan. ^_^ <3 Yea, also like alisono said, The Temptations are from the 1960's but lasted until the 1980's. Okay I'll stop now. xD lol. (And that was an explaination for everyone. Just to clarify) ^_^

I think. x.x "I Liked You Better Before You Became a ******** Myspace Whore." Now it's known as "Snitches and Talkers get Stitches and Talkers," on the BC&UD edition of FUCT. It WAS. They changed the name, and I think they gave the MySpace Whore title to something else. Because I think there was an interview or announcement or something that said the MySpace Whore song was going to be on the new album, BUT probably under a different title. So if they've already released Snitches And Talkers, then obviously it's not that one.Absolute Punk interview part 2 Q: Will any of the b-sides from the album be on the new one? A: There’s definitely going to be one and it’s the “MySpace Whore” song, which I don’t know if it will still be called that for whatever legal reasons. That one is on my list of definite to be on the record. I’m not sure how many people heard it. We played it live on the “Fueled By Ramen and Friends” Tour. And then there’s “Austin, We Have A Problem” in the possible box. I also heard it was supposed to be AMA and I started second-guessing the Temptations title, because...I've learned better than to trust what Pete says as fact unless in a SERIOUS interview. And that AIM one...was not very serious. There was LOTS of joking.
