I think sempai is.. classmate.. or peer.. or something horribly different than that.

I think -kun is only used for boys, but I am not entirely sure.. sweatdrop
It's upperclassmen, sorta...like someone who's older than you but still in school (at a higher level than you). So, like an elementary-schooler could call a college kid "sempai" too.

if -kun is for boys...is -chan use only for girls? eheheh i get really confused at these things. my classmates and i usually debate about this matter...talking about anime fanatics. 3nodding
"-kun" is just usually used for boys. I'm not sure what it implies. sweatdrop

"-chan" indicates a sort of child-like cuteness or innocence(sp?) , which is why it's normally used for girls.

ooh!!ooh!! The Japanese word for "Ok", is ok!!! (I feel special...^^) blaugh

Oh, by the way, I just noticed, in the first post you have byakugan instead of byukugan. sweatdrop

And also, another word for water is sui and another word for fire is ka.

Did you mention that gaara means I love death? (can't remember if ya did. sweatdrop )

And I think hatake means dry field or something.

Not sure.

Heh. Useless knowledge: "Uni" means sea urchin.

And, I think "ton" means "style". Like when they specify a style type they use for an attack.
