This is really funny. I mean, I had made a small list of American actors who would do a live-action RK movie about a month ago. For example: Christian Bale as Aoshi,  Shia LaBeouf as Yahiko,  Terry Bradshaw as Okina, and Amanda Bynes as Misao, just to name a few. For a Japanese version, though, I have no clue.

Wow; that's a fabulous idea! But what should they make it?
Part of the season?
One of the OVA's?
And would it be in English, or Japanese??

um it has to have lots of action first off ( i love action). Maybe they can do a condensed version of the sishio saga. They can have kenshin meet kaoru and move on from there, every now and then have frightning flash backs of his past or happy ones with tomoe...OR maybe they can have all the action with battousai and balance it with him meeting tomoe or something.......

o0ojaded_angelo0o's choices for actors is superb. I think as far as placement they should make it like the Samurai X movie and just make a side story.

Huh. Kenshin as a RL movie? That'd be interesting, but it'd probably ruin ALOT of people's opinions about the series, especially those who haven't read it yet and might be thinking of reading it. (like people who watch the movie for a book before they even read the book. like Harry Potter. x3 )) But if it had to be made realistic, and they couldn't find actors, they could turn to like... The animating style for the Final Fantasy games? Very realistic, yet still digital?

AHURA MAZDA Ormazd kivaki Pretty much what the title suggests. xD If Rurouni Kenshin were to be made into a movie (with popular/highly paid actors), who do you think should be casted for each character? e.g. Keanu Reeves for... say... Aoshi. sweatdrop Just an example! Ehehe! Well actually is not that bad but i think if we are going to make Kenshin a movie it be with real japanese people or else it be weird right? In that case I'll put Brad Pitt as Kenshin Zooey Deschanel as Kaoru Freddy Prinze Jr as SAnosuke Catherine Zeta Jones as Megumi Gosh i really don't have anybody for YAHIKO!! AHHH pobrecito! ya i say use all japanese ppl

o0ojaded_angelo0o  cant remember his name tho but he can play sano, both these guys are from gokusen season 2. :squeal: he'd make the cutest sano! heh but yeah seriouly the idea sounds wonderful

Camui Gackt. I agree with you all who say that having a Rurouni Kenshin movie with actual actors is a TERRIBLE idea. What would they have 'Kenshin' do? Use cables to jump up into the air so that he could reach the proper inhuman hieght and computers to show his awesome speed? He's just to strong to have that (very important) trait captured correctly with real people. And we've all already seen the anime, heard all the voice actors, imagined it with our minds. It'd just ruin it. But, I must admit, Camui Gackt is GREAT! He's so bishonen. ( I love love love bishonen guys. EDIT: No wait, not anymore. Now they just creep me out a li'l. Still cute, but... Eh.) I'm not sure what'd he'd be better for, though: a patriot Kenshin or a rurouni Kenshin... Although I'm still against a real life RuroKen movie, if they HAD to make it, I'd be a little bit more mellow about it if he was playing it.
