me: it's called a metroid
friend: uh-huh. anyway let's go play something else
me: i have to get to a save station first, then we can play something else
friend: what? when are you going to find one?
me: dunno
friend: god! this game is sooo stupid. All you do is run around shooting things.
me *sighs and turns off game cube. replaces MP with MP2 and puts multiplayer mode, then gives her friend a controler* here, let's play
friend: when i said something else, i didn't mean this lame game!
*30 mins after*
friend: oh, yeah! *gets annihilator (sp?) beam and kills me* ha! in your face!
me: shut up
friend: why? are you mad at me for winning?
me: no, and i thought you hated this game
friend: are you crazy?! this game owns! as a matter of fact, i'm thinking of buying one of my own
me: really?
friend: ye
me: ok *pissed off because i lost*

It was bad enough that i had to turn it off while on impact crater but now my friend kicked my a** at MP2. Man, she was good! and since she got hers, she's gotten a lot better.

Me: Because I'm using the Thermal Visor. Anything that gives off heat will be shown as red or yellow. Anything that doesn't shows up as purple and blue.
Friend: Oh. Why are you using it?
Me: Because the lights went out and this is the only way to see.
Friend: Oh. Why did the lights go out?
Me: I don't know!
Friend: Hey, what's that?
Me: It's the same damn metroid!
