Same here.
But then I was like
"........mmmmmmmmwhut, love them all, kaygawt'choo."
A Warm Place reminds me of being hugged or held by someone.
gonk gonk gonk
Or being a fetus in a womb, which is even weirder.
Even though Eraser kinda has lyrics, I've always considered it an instrumental.
It freaks me out either way.
The weird 'choo choo choo choo choo choo choo!' noises and the noises that are all 'MMMMMMMVBUZZMVMMMVBUZZMMMVMVMBUZZ'.

I love them
Trent's so talented.
I think it's cool how he does lyrical ones and instrumentals...well I don't think instrumental is the right word o.o
but it's amazing
All his songs. you know, honestly I don't know if song is the right word I like to see them as sculptures or pieces of art
But like some other bands. Pearl Jam, who I also love is amazing. They're talented but in a different way
The way Trent puts his pieces together really amazes me sometimes I just like to sit and pull them apart and count how many different layers, or sounds
that's going on at a time. It's just...wow. It's so interesting.

Everything is catching up with me, I'm awake to find... I'm not at all where I should be... I love instrumentals from Nine Inch Nails. Personally, the song La Mer is really calming And Help Me I Am In Hell and Pinion are a favorite, as well. And it feels I'm getting to the end, And it's hard to figure out what's real, And what's pretend...

ANYWAY, yes, I love A Warm Place sosoos much. GUYS, have you ever heard Crystal Japan by David Bowie? It's almost identicle. I know Trent loves Bowie, but woah it's nearly copying. xd Heavy heavy influence.
And Eraser is my favourite NIN song. It's the best~~~ heart

A Warm Place is my favorite lyric-less song. It helps me relax, but then it makes me feel kind of sad...I don't know why...but I love the song anways. La Mer is a great one aswell. It does have lyrics, but they are spoken so quietly that it's very, very hard to hear them and I think they are in French.

I've thought about learning french just to be able to understand what that lady's saying. XD That and understand Les Nubians songs. >_>

Now that I think about it, it does remind me of being in the womb.

My friend translated it for me, so here you go:
"And it, the day, has arrived And i will turn to the sky (or "turn into the sky") And i will become the sea
And the sea, she has made it possible For one to return to me
Nothing can stop me... "

Omigosh. I think some of the ones without lyrics are my favourite. It's like he stretches your heart out into strings and the little hammers of his grand piano tap on them just enough for it to be painful and orgasmic all at the same time. MMN!
Even just the little spurs of intrumental music within the lyrical songs are cosmic.
-sniffsniff- I love Trenty-poo-kins so much. <:'''K

A warm place has lyrics, you know. but, they're hidden. You have to crank the volume real high. At the start of the song, he's saying:
"The best thing about life is knowing you put it together"
These words mean so much to me, It's my quote in my profile. It's barely audible, It took me a few tries to hear it.

I feel the albums wouldn't be complete without the instrumentals. They speak the same amount, if not more, energy and emotion as the songs with lyrics.
I think Trent has real talent for making instrumentals and it would be a shame if he would let that talent go to waste.
